Customer service at the Fareham branch is awful.I visited them tonight and wanted to know what sand paper to buy with one of their sanders, I was told it was around the corner from the till. I had to point out that I needed to buy the correct sand paper as they wouldnt want me to bring back an open packet, staff just stand around talking to each other customers come second. On several occasions I have been to that store and customer service comes second.

Ordered on line as click and collect. Stir really quick and when arrived served straight away and helped out with product. Even asked me to leave some and comeback and then quick at dealing with turned items.

It was very easy to use their website on my mobile device and then find the same item on their full website. Payment was very quick and simple too.

I have the misfortune of living within the delivery area of the Wimbledon Branch of Wickes. They have failed to turn up on many occasions after I had a confirmed delivery slot and confirmation that goods were in stock at the time of ordering. Usually, I don't even get a courtesy call. Calling them is a waste of time. They often don't pick up the phone and when they do, you just get put on hold indefinitely.

Bathroom, was fitted ok,and design work was spot on,all was going to schedule and finished. then we found out that the bathroom screen was not the right screen for the bath,or was not fitted correctly, plus the bottom part of the bath panel came away in days. This bath retail costs£4000.So after 3 months later with numerous complaints to get it sorted and photos, visits to the managers and phone calls, guess what! NOTHING!!!

I ordered on the 17th for delivery to be made 24th only half the order came, I rung the store up. They come up with some story they don't hold the stock and it will be delivered tomorrow by someone else, that morning delivery company confirm between 8am - 6pm I wait in all day and get a text at 3pm saying due to technical problems it will be delayed and delivery Wednesday between 8am - 12pm again other day of work come 5pm no deliver. I go out come back, you've missed your delivery 5:45pm are you kidding me, on the phone to the local store, your order says completed, I was well its not because I still don't have the full order I was meant to get on Monday, puts me on hold, 5 minutes late (probably went to make a coffee) I can't find the manager I'll get him to call you back, Thursday 10am delivery driver at the door, brings me my order wait a min it, this is one cupboard door! I ordered 4, he doesn't know just delivered what was given, on the phone again to the local store no answer, 6 times I call not one time did they answer only reason I stopped was on the 5th and 6th it said this number is disconnected, I call the man office, guys answered tried ringing my local store says he can't get hold of them, says he will email and get the to call me back, I said this happed the other day but no one called he says he will email the manager, next day obviously no flipping call at all, I missed out I emailed on Thursday as well no reply they've basically stolen my money and have been taking the piss out of me all flipping week what a joke! I will be doing a charge backi, I suggest never to use these guys they will take and steal your money send half your order then mark it as completed, their customer service is appalling Not to mention the doors I ordered where bartered with chips out of them, a few of them had filler in places, you don't buy a new solid door for it to have filler in!! I suggest if you ever order for the Huntington store click and collect. Unprofessional the whole lot of them. It seems the only way I can get them to sort this is to leave this review

Ordered some stone pebble for my garden, day before it was to be delivered told supplier had let them down but to expect delivery in a couple of days and they would keep me in contact. No calls and when i tried calling phone just rang endlessly. Spoke to someone at main office and they said will call back but did not. A week late and told me they had the items and to expect delivery, nothing turned up on the day and called several times but no answer. Finally got through and was given various excuses and finally told they could not supply and would give me a refund...horrible experience and will never use them again.

Like a lot of people I have had a problem with Delivery. A few £100s of wood should have been delivered on Tuesday and yes having waited in all day nothing had arrived despite having rung about 5 times. It takes ages for someone to answer the phone and they never ring back. Later that day there was a text saying delivery would be the following day in the afternoon. Again I waited in and even followed the delivery van on line but as expected it did not get to my house although at 5.45 there was a text saying the goods had been delivered. More phone calls, it would be delivered today and yes some wood did arrive but only half the order. When I rang Worcester the manager Andy Butler would not even talk to me. Waiting now for a call back to tell me when the rest of the wood will arrive. I live in hope. This is an awful company with appalling customer service, Go else where

I could write a book on the problems we have had with our kitchen installation through wickes. it has been a thoroughly depressing experience from when the first kitchen design was designed without a sink, to today when the worktop fitters from sheridans turned up and aborted the job of installing our worktops due to bad templating and incorrect cnc work. work started on removing our kitchen on the 21st March, as things stand we will have been without a sink or hob until, at least next wednesday when sheridans and the fitter complete the installation. i implore anyone with the slightest inkling of choosing wickes to think again. if you do decide to use wickes then every time you make an appointment with them to do something call them the day before to make sure what you think is going to happen actually is.

The one good thing about Wickes kitchens, is that they stock some nice kitchens, but that is where the good ends. The fitting, customer service, and professionalism is at the bottom of crap if ever there was a crapometer. Just save yourself the heart ache and get a good kitchen fitter to fit a Wickes kitchen if you must have one. They use some poorly qualified trades people across the board, they are not all good qualified Wickes fitters, some are subcontractors who are slapdash and rude. I have my doubts as to whether any of their full time fitters strive to give the finish you would expect. They leave hundreds of very upset customers trying hard to deal with the mess they are left with every year, oh and if you believe their rubbish about most customers being happy with their kitchens, just know if you are one of the ones who are let down, they won't give a damn. Don't allow yourself to be one of those “alleged few”. Know that you might receive the wrong goods, at the wrong time. They are not quick to rectify problems, they most certainly won't want to replace an expensive worktop they have damaged! If your units are badly fitted, you will probably have to live with this. Their warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on if your kitchen doesn't fit properly, or they have damaged it during fitting. They claim to give a two year warranty on fitting, yet can't fit it properly first time round, so as an after thought...p1ssing in wind really. I know they are impossible to deal with whether it is a bathroom or kitchen. I know an elderly couple who needed a wet room fitting as one was wheelchair bound, they were left with faulty plumbing and a toilet hanging off the wall. Would Wickes sort it out? Well several months later the fitter came back, but it still is not right. You pay, then you pay again in a bigger way. Don't put yourself through the heart ache. Even on Trustpilot the rating is low, hundreds of unhappy customers, and they can have reviews removed n there to even the score a bit. On other review sites the truth is told, and the ratings are low as hell...do you really believe they are all fake? Well see for yourself if you dare and have them fit that expensive kitchen or bathroom. I would rather sky dive with an old parachute.

If you thinking of buying a new kitchen from wickes, think again. What happens is they provide kitchen units and give the fitting to another, I call that sub-contracting but what it really means is that they don't want to know the rest. I did this, pity, as my fitter did not fulfil his promises so had incomplete kitchen. In fact i don't think he had any intention of doing the final bit. Customer services did not want to know, in fact they are not worth contacting. I would have been satisfied by a gift card to compensate but no. Well good on them because I will never buy from them again and so say all my friends. A £50 credit note would have made me happy. Reckon I have lost wickes about 2 grand so far and counting. Go elsewhere.

I have written before and nothing. Did have a kitchen design but realise taking piss. Stupidly paid for new kitchen when not great service. Tried to get money back within 14 days but nothing. Fitter got in touch late and no calls back etc. Also then on holiday. I cannot take a holiday as being scammed out of money left, right & centre. Please can my money be refunded. Am looking at legal action otherwise. Thanks

Terrible experience with wickes. I took advantage of the 15% off over Easter and ordered a load of guttering for one of my jobs. I organised doing this work the day after the delivery date. 2 sections were click and collect only so went to my local store to collect them and got the rest delivered. The bulk of the order came from slough store. I was shocked and appauled when it turned up. The courier opened his van and the whole lot was loose floating around in his van and with over 50 items most of them gutter joiners and clips it took a while to gather them up. I couldn't believe no one had the common sense to bag them up at least. Then when checking the items loads of them were wrong. I had ordered all squareline guttering and somehow some were roundline. I was busy so the courier said he would take the incorrect items back and unload the rest. When I went back to move what he had delivered they were scratched to pieces where they had been sliding around in his van. Then a parcel arrived with the rest of the order from their depot. What a surprise that was incorrect too. I couldn't believe how one order could go so wrong. I believe there saying is "WICKES, LETS DO IT RIGHT" well I couldn't of been more wrong if you tried. Was an absolute joke and I had to rush to organise work for the days I planned on guttering. I contacted their customer services and they said they would email slough store and get them to get in contact with me. I just didn't want the same thing to happen to anyone else. He said slough store would contact me and he would follow it through and get back to me. I said I would return the lot to my local store as it was beyond using. I mean what a waste of products. I wasted my time ordering the guttering, spent ages on the phone several times then had to return the lot to the store. I ordered if for delivery as would save me time but my god what a waste of my time it turned out to be. All they could do is offer me an apology and no one ever got back to me not from slough store or customer services. Avoid wickes delivery service at all costs.

Ordered a radiator from them on the 18/4/17 and they promised to deliver the next day between 8am and 6pm HA HA HA no sign of delivery. Received a text from their shitty delivery company called DX saying issues with the network and delivery will be attempted the next day20/4/17 between 8am and 12pm. water the whole day and gave a call to DX expecting to get an answer where my radiator is? Alison the useless lady at the phone kept on making excuses : you should have recieved your order by now, oh sorry your order will be delivered tomorrow, I can't get hold of the delivery person, your order has been sent but it doesn't show on our system, I will call you back as soon as I get trough to the delivery person. on and on and on not one straight answer. waited for her call but nothing. Called Wickes customer service and they have no clue about where my order is or when will it be delivered. they promised it will be delivered by the end of the day before 6pm, so I waited but no sign at all, called wicked again and they promise that I will definitely get my delivery between 8am and 1pm the following day. Today 21/4/17, 14:35 and no sign of a delivery called wickes for an answer but they had none. called DX and Alison the useless lady had no clue and asked me if I can take the delivery the following day. my answer is no useless lady you can take the order back. ordered from Scewfix 5 more radiators yesterday and they kept me posted on every move and updated me with every single detail of the purchase as well as the delivery. I received the delivery this morning as they promised and sent me a text to review their service 10 out of 10. ParcelForce 10 out of 10 Wickes 0 out of 10 DX -10 out of 10 Alison the useless lady who her best excuse (sorry I was in meetings all morning and I don't have a direct contact to our delivery drivers) need replacing or the best thing to do is close DX for good. I think Wickes is going out of business and it shows in their stores and their services. Wickes if you are going out of business, good riddance as I will never be shopping with you again.
