“I ordered 7 night shirts for my wife and the ad said 30% and 25$ off for every 50$ down I spent 155 after the 30 off and then they only took 25$ total off I called them twice and the First Lady told me I would have to talk to a supervisor and proceeded to hang up on me I called right back and asked to speak to a supervisor and had to go through the same complaint and she said ok I’ll send you to a supervisor and hung up again on me. Not happy as I paid 50 more than I soups have here is the ad”
“Horrible Experience. Ordered an outdoor jacket, according to their size chart and comments. Too small; wanted to exchange. They have no exchange policy, only a refund, and then you can re-buy it. But wait: there are several catches. FIRST, the say they only give e-credits(which means they hold your $ captive until you place another order). SECOND, they only e-credit you the cost of the item. You're stuck paying for shipping AND tax. THIRD,(and this I didn't find out until the whole "refund" process was over) they actually DID refund me, back to my credit card, after several emails exchanges with customer service, BUT I was not given my whole purchase price back; nope, they tacked on some type of processing fee deduction. So in a nutshell, I paid $74.38 for the entire order, and was refunded $46.85. I lost $27.43 total. I'll be dropping this company like a HOT POTATO! On a positive note: the CSR's that I emailed with were very personable.”
“This is about the worse company I have ever delt with!! They never applied my gift cards to my orders and then charged me for the full items - when I called to have this rectified I was told it was done and the next month I receive a statement with late charges and fees that after many hours trying to correct this it is still not corrected. The last guy I spoke with said the girl before who I spoke with didn’t credit my account and there was nothing he could do about it!!! They say they will have a supervisor call me back and they never do. I have spent hours dealing with this company and NO MORE!! I cancelled my card that’s it for sure never get their charge card it’s a nightmare!!!”
“I had been a customer with Woman Within for over 20 years. 2024 has been a very bad year for me with them. Woman Within placed my account into Collections for non-payment for packages that they delivered to my next door neighbor. They insisted that I pay for unreceived orders that were delivered to wrong addresses and failed to send out the paper bills to let me know I have owed them money. They put me on non paper bills status and set bills that were sent via email. But I did not received them. For twenty years I always had bills sent to me via the USPS mail. My deliveries started getting sent to other addresses though the company and delivery company has my correct address. To get the charges off they told me that they would require me to fill out an AFFADAVIT and if the misplaced orders are over $200 that I would be required to also file that affidavit with the Police. I am elderly. I live alone, to file complaints against others and to call the police and file a complaint with them would cause me undue stress with neighbors that live right next door. They also added late fees on top. They were asked to send the Invoices by mail or to send them via email. The customer service people them informed that after until after I pay the balances off for merchandise I did not get that they would give me the invoices for this card to show how I owe this bill. After that they required me to pay over $1 K to off 2024 balance that they would send the past bills that were allegedly sent to me by email. Again I never got them in any form. They also made bad report against me to Credit Agencies that lowered my Credit Scores. They refused to give me copy of alleged bills that I did not get. I argued with them again and again regarding getting invoices and after months of reporting to them that I did not get the bills, today the Customer Service women were found to be disrespectful, rude and hostile. One of them finally indicated that they will send the copies of statements from 2024 via email. I would have to wait Three Months to get a hard copy of my Statements from them. Do not buy their merchandise via their Store Cards. They will bill $45.00 Late fees every month until full balance is paid off in full. People Buy with Visa, MC, PayPal. That would be safer.”
“The worst company ever. Order was wrong. I had to pay for shipping and then more to ship back. For a $30 order I was only allowed $9 back. I called customer service and they said that is the way it works. I asked to speak to a manger which they said would call but no one ever did. I will NEVER ORDER from them again. I also plan to let many people know that have asked about them to stay away. They should be ashamed of themselves.”
“These clothes came from China.. Customer service tried but My order never got here. After first 5 weeks it said pkg. was delivered but never appeared, so they sent again with same results..(never delivered).

“NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! My family has been buying from woman within for DECADES. So naturally when I needed an alternative to wearing jeans because of my kidney condition, I went to woman within. I absolutely love their rayon pants. In December 2023 I made a purchase that included some jeans, I needed to send these jeans back, so I selected the option of getting a gift card. First thing I don't like about this company, if you don't choose to get a gift card and you choose to have the return of your item, go back to the regular payment, they will remove from your refund, the cost of shipping back, and a restocking fee. if you choose to just get a gift card for a future purpose you get your whole return back. I have had many returns since I've started buying from this company and never had an issue until December of 2023. Back to the saga of the jeans. I returned the jeans through a happy return storefront, I got an email stating that my return was accepted and that I would soon be getting my gift card. Life goes on. I don't think much about it and then I realize I've never received an email from them with my gift card. I reached out to customer service via talking to them, through their email, and through the live chat on their website. Everyone kept giving me the same standard talking points that it was past 90 days and that they could do nothing to help me. All of the representatives kept telling me that I must have deleted the email because their system automatically generated it to me. I have been trying to get this resolved for most of 2024. Fast forward to today, January 16th, 2025, and after spending hours on the phone, calling a bunch of different numbers that the representatives were giving me and talking to various customer service representatives; All of them still telling me i misplaced the email and that they could in no way help me resolve this issue. I talked to a supervisor within the credit card department. The supervisor informs me that I in fact was NOT given a gift card through email but that it was physically mailed to my home. I told the supervisor that makes no sense. I would have never asked for a physical gift card. I would have only requested it come digitally. This is what I have done on every return. He tells me sorry you have an issue with this go take it up with your postmaster! Seriously, what is my postmaster going to do about it, so I said to the supervisor you are telling me that you have never had mail lost in your entire life, very smugly he informs me that he has not and that he finds himself grateful and lucky for that. I said I live in a rural area, sometimes things get lost. Is there nothing that we can do to resolve this issue? He point blank said no, you choose to do business with us. You choose to abide by our terms. I said so you're working for a company that will take product back from a customer and then also keep their money and you're fine with that, and very smugly he says yes it's in our terms. So this company is willing to lose three generations of women purchasing their product over $37.31. I will no longer purchase with them because it is the principal of the matter.”

“They have really poor quality clothing. They now have a poor return policy. They told me that I was supposed to call the police for anything over $200.00. They wanted an affidavit to return an item that was never delivered. They and all of their associated brands ie Catherine's, Roman's, etc are horrible. Don't use them.”
“I purchased a ComfortChoice Underwire Microfiber T-Shirt bra recently. I've had other ComfortChoice bras that fit just fine. This one, however, had adjustable straps that were way too short. The bra pulled up in the back and was uncomfortable. Additionally, as soon as I stood up the cups crinkled and didn't give a smooth look.”
“If I could give no stars I would!!!! I placed an order on 9/9/24. The item, as of today, 1/10/25, is still on back order. Every time I call I get a new delivery date. Today I canceled the order because I am done with this whole fiasco and their customer service representative yelled at me when I asked about my refund. Nothing they sell is worth this aggravation. Why don't they keep their inventory updated so that you can't order something not in stock? They do NOT care about customers or making them happy. “Returning something to this company is very frustrating because they do not make the process easy. I had to call numerous times just to find out how to get a shipping label and also took too long to get a a credit for all the items that were returned. They kept sending me countless emails telling me that my return period had expired even though I had returned everything. And paying the bill isn’t any easier because they don’t put the the full account number on your bill even though they ask you to put your to put it on your check when you go to pay them.”
“I ordered a jacket that was my normal size but the bottom rolled because I use a wheelchair and it was designed in a manner that caused the bottom to roll. I asked if I could exchange for size and was told that I had to repurchase the item. I was told that here would be a 10.00 fee if I wanted my money returned to me. I was offered a gift card that could only be used online. I informed the representative that apparently online was not working for me because of the wheelchair situation.
She told me that she was sorry but that was the best she could do. I do not understand why I could not use the gift card for an in-store purchase at one of the many stores this company owns, i.e. Roamans, etc. I will not be ordering from them in the future. First time purchase and a huge CUSTOMER FAIL.”
