I ordered a men’s zipped up cardigan in large size which fitted perfectly but the men’s classic polo neck was too big so the sizing varies.very disappointing! This was my first order so not sure if I would use this company again. On the plus side the quality is good

I got a sweater/cardigan a couple of weeks back and once I tried it on, did not like the fit, the material and colour, so tried to return. Had to pay for my return in addition to the shipping cost of getting it and they only returned the cost of the product. Very poor corporate policy on refunds and also the quality of the product for the price was not worth it. Would not recommend it unless there is a local store to try it on.

The worst experience with this company. My first delivery went missing, it took two weeks to resend it. They customer service is so rude. We finally got the jumpers and it was written they are from China. The quality was also bad. Be careful: on the return form they ask about your card details and CVV code ! Never send your full card details to this company. And you have to pay to return the items.

Bought a cash merino sweater. Nothing like it I’m afraid. Inferior yarn that is hard and rough to wear and no response from Woolovers.

Hi, I had been given a present by my ill mother in law, but present was too small. I asked for an exchange, but they said it should have been done by 6th January. V sad, as i have bought loads from Woolovers and have always been very pleased. I understand a refund not acceptable, but NOT TO AGREE to exchange for a bigger size.... very poor. WATCH OUT future buyers, incase it happens to you.

Ready to write a long letter to the New York State Attorney General about this company. Impossible to find a physical address to send a complaint letter or a telephone number to call in order to resolve complaint about fraudulent and deceptive business practices, much less a physical address to sue this company. I'm hoping this e-message will generate some type of response from corporate office before I write my complaint to the NYS Attorney General or sue. awisoff@gmail.com

...completely ignored my complaint about the quality of their so-called "Aran" sweater. It is falling apart at the collar.... avoid these. I called a rather unhelpful contact in their sales office. Then emailed my complaint with a photo and received no reply .... I will avoid this company in future. They are aptly named; they certainly pulled the wool over my eyes! I have given them a star only because you have to!

I ordered three t-shirts from Woolovers - all three were dreadful quality, like market rags: uneven sleeves, hugely oversized and yet so short they didn't cover my midriff (I'm only 5ft 5), see through, and with uneven hems. All three were returned on the grounds of poor quality. Woolovers are now refusing to refund the original delivery cost, despite being legally required to do so by the 2013 Consumer Contracts Regulations. In researching solutions I also learned that Woolovers was caught breaching advertising law in 2016 by only publishing positive reviews. Terrible products and terrible ethics - avoid!

I have bought at least four over time of the zipped up cardigans. I do not sit with my elbows on a desk or table but the elbows in three of them has worn so thin after twice repairing have cut the sleeves to short sleeve. I should not have to do that. The orange one has even started to split on arm seam - why? More mending. The latest was black and not yet been worn a lot. Quality does not feel as good as previous ones. Now I learn they are made in China I will have to think quite seriously before buying anything more. Used to recommend will no longer do that. No other cardigans have ever worn so very badly. You need to sort something out. Ann Jihnson

I have been a good customer of Woolovers for several years and have made many purchases. recently I put in an order online. It prompted me to increase my order over the £80 threshold to get free delivery and what I thought was free returns and I decided to add on some socks to do this. The package arrived with the main item and two of the pairs of socks missing. I had to make several (very tedious and time consuming) phone calls, send several emails and photographic proof in order to get them to eventually agree to send out the missing items. None of the four people I had to interact with offered any apology. Finally the main item arrived, only to turn out to be massive, despite being a size 's". Then I find it is not free returns at all, not even for exchanges, which at first I though I would do. Having discovered this I decided to return and not exchange. This leaves me out of pocket by £4.80. Won't be using this company again. In the interim I had a faulty pair of beautif house shoes fro Boden. I made one phone call, received full apologies, new pair sent out immediately, no 'proof required, no return required. Also made a purchase from Weird Fish several months ago. Not too sure of it - but have 6 months within which to decide and can return for free. Guess which companies I will stick with in future!

I normally get large sized clothes - the XL sized jumper is tight and it is made in China - and they keep sending me catalogues!

Worst company i have ever dealt with. Send substandard goods of very poor quality. Had to pay £17 to return it. Then they denied receiving the goods back so had to send a photo from courier to prove it was in their building. THen they ignore emails regarding refund and then when you call them they say they are waiting for the manufacturers to respond as to whether they are happy to refund despite the fact that woolovers website says they have a no quibble return policy if you arent happy with the products will never use this company again, buyer beware, their website promises one thing and the reality is something very different indeed. i am going to dispute with my credit card company next as this seems to be the only way this will be resolved and a refund be obtained

Poor communication - no confirmation email that my order was sent. Fedex ended up losing the package and when I emailed them about it, they didn't even respond nor care what happened to my package. Don't bother.

Oh my God, this is one of the worst companies I have had the misfortune to interact with in a very long time. On December 3, my husband placed a phone order with them; he was assured the gifts he ordered for me would arrive in "plenty of time" before Christmas. Not only did they not arrive before Christmas, the customer service rep (if you can even get anyone on the phone) could not tell us when they would depart the UK! As of today they are still (allegedly) sitting on a loading dock somewhere in the UK. We have called them several times, before, during and now, after the holidays. Not only do they not know when - or if - the paid-for items will arrive; they refuse to refund our money for items we no longer want because the promised time of arrival has elapsed. What little customer service they have is horrendous. It's like talking to a passive/aggressive brick wall. When I insisted on speaking to a manager (after needing to argue the point with the CSR) I was placed on hold for a long time, then hung up on! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!
