Returned single mattress protector after ordering it by mistake. They tell me they haven’t received it so will not give me a refund. I am happy with the two double mattress protectors I have bought but the returns service is so bad that I will not use this company again.

If you are wanting a pain free sleep and excellent customer service, then I would recommend staying well clear of the products for sale by The Woolroom. Before buying one of their deluxe washable wool pillows, I researched products available and read all the reviews. I thought, as per their marketing, being able to adjust the amount of wool in the pillow was a wonderful feature. Little did I realise just how painful and lumpy their pillow would be. I have done everything - from pulling apart all the clumps of wool to putting more / less wool inside and nothing has worked. My neck and shoulder pain is worse than ever and I am back to using my basic IKEA pillow. I got in touch with the customer service at The Wool Room about wanting to return to completely unuseable pillow, but apparently, as per their terms and conditions if you even use it for one night, you can not return it. They are locking you into buying a product that is gimmicky and second rate and 100% not worth the amount of money you will spend on it. Do not make the same mistake that I made!

After paying higher cost (price dropped quite a bit after purchasing), and then the duty of $32.00, I asked about whether your laundry soap was HE, was told they would get back to me. After a few weeks they never got back to me. I won’t purchase from you again.

Ordered this comforter from the Woolroom and it did not meet up to the promise. The buttons that connect the two parts are not strong enough and separate during sleep. When I raised the issue they did not respond to solve the issue and basically said I had to suck it up and because I already slept under the comforter the don't offer a refund. How am I to find out the buttons don't work properly by just looking at them? I raised the issue with PayPal and my credit card company to leverage my buyer protection. This company is not worth doing business with.

Shocking service. Advertised 3-5 days for delivery, but still waiting 2 week later, despite having confirmed mattresses were in stock when ordering. Had to chase numerous times to even get an initial date for delivery, only for the mattresses to be delivered to the wrong address. Totally refused to do anything to resolve the issue, despite this being their error. Avoid.

I was so excited to get this pillow and when it finally arrived I was incredibly disappointing. The filling inside seemed half full. I was still hopeful but because there's not enough filling, what is in there, slides around and lumps together. I contacted someone online and they asked for a picture which I sent with my order number. I have heard NOTHING since and it's been a week. I live in Canada so with duties etc, this pillow was not cheap. I would return it, but now as I've been waiting for a response about my picture of the lacking wool fill, I am past the return window! I can only imagine, it will cost just as much to ship it back to the UK too. I am not impressed with the pillow and the company which is so unfortunate because I had such hopes for both.

As much as I would like to rate your product and service, I really can’t. I have still to receive the mattress that we bought. All I have is an email from your delivery company to say “we have your mattress, we will contact you to arrange for delivery or “collection!”. well It’s taking on the verge of “ too long”. I hope it will be worth the wait.

I signed up to your newsletter, and then placed an order, but did not get the signup discount promised when I went through checkout. I contacted WoolRoom afterwards and was told I could not have the discount. For the sake of £7.00, WoolRoom have turned what should be a happy customer, into an unhappy customer. On principal, I wont be buying from them again, and wont recommend to anyone.

1-2 tog wool duvet is equivalent to my 4•5 silk one, hence a waste of money. Irene from Scotland

I have ordered a mattress and bedding from them and was told 10 days ( that was 12 days ago) when I call them they cannot give me a delivery date saying the mattress is in their stores but can deliver it! Due to not having a courier who will give them a date! Not happy with service! Will give them till Friday and ask for money back! What a shame

I ordered a throw via Not on the High Street over a week ago. I paid via paypal and the money left my A/c. The product should have arrived on 18th March. It is 22nd March now I have not heard anything from the company and do not have my goods. I contacted Not on the high St and they haven't heard from the Wool Room either. Lyn Wales

I ordered a luxury alpaca and wool SOFT pillow. The first one that arrived (very promptly) was a FIRM pillow. This was collected and a second pillow arrived (very promptly) - wrong again - it was a FIRM one. This happened a third time and I'm now awaiting the arrival of my SOFT pillow - 4th attempt. The company was very apologetic, but they need to ensure the warehouse workers open the cotton bag the pillow comes in to read the label. My suggestion is that the cardboard labels attached to the outer cotton bag are clearly labelled SOFT, MEDIUM or FIRM. I already have 2 Wool Room pillows, a mattress enhancer and a duvet and I am delighted with these products - I would give top ratings for these. It's the service and attention to detail which I have to rate poorly.

they are the worst pillows i have ever bought,they are very hard on the neck and the head,on top of that twice you deliveard to the wrong address where lives an 80year old lady who is very bad on her legs and feet ,she has an daily nurse going in each day dressing her ulcerated legs. yours mr molloy

We are very sorry to hear of the delivery issues and that you are not getting on well with the new pillows. They are normally very comfortable and fully adjustable to suit most sleepers. Have you tried to separate some of the fibers inside to give you more of a softer feel? I ordered the all season wool duvet and I am sad to say that it hasn't helped at all in making my night's sleep more comfortable. It doesn't keep me cool when I overheat and it isn't warm enough in the early hours of the morning when I am not overheating. I thought I had a 30 day trial but it seems this is only on certain packages. When I rang up to discuss I was advised to try one half of the duvet underneath my sheet. This makes no difference. I was told that they couldn't take it back because it has been used but it seems to me that this must be the case too for the 30 day trial packages? A very expensive mistake and my old duvet did a better job. The only positive was that the delivery was very quick (next day). Very sad not to have had a more positive experience to report both for the duvet and in wanting to return the product.

Im afraid that is correct Yasmin, the 30 day money back guarantee only applies to the full bed sets - mattress protector/topper,pillows and your choice of duvet. Im very sorry that the duvet you purchased did not help with your sleep issues, we are passionate about our product and the help that it can give in aiding a good nights sleep and we are sorry that it on this occasion it has not worked for you.. Sadly I was disappointed with my purchase. I bought the classic medium for my young son. I rang the wool room before placing my order to ensure I made the right decision. Unfortunately The duvet I chose was not the right one for a young child. I'm disappointed with my purchase not just because it's been rendered unusable for us, but also because the wool room will not give a refund or exchange as its been opened. Also in my opinion if you sell duvets I believe you should know some important information such as young children should sleep with duvets under 9 tog sadly I found this out elsewhere after making this purchase.

Ordered deluxe topper, arrived promptly and well packaged. Unfortunately it didnt help my back problems, despite claims of best nights sleep etc. Also despite claims of 30 day money back etc, it transpires they only do that if you have bought a complete set!! They argue that topper would not be resellable, but if complete set returned they would write it off! They wont even accept back as an exchange for other products! Disgusting customer service. Would NOT RECOMMEND and will never buy from them again

As you mentioned, the 30 day sleep guarantee is only available on a complete bedding set, and this is reflected clearly online and in-store. The reason we offer this is because research shows that when sleeping cocooned in wool (on top of, under and head on), sleep is enhanced because of the fantastic moisture management and temperature regulation capabilities our products have. We're incredibly confident that our bedding sets will improve sleep, so much so that we've only ever had a couple returned. These have then been recycled and put back into other products for different uses. Sorry once again for any inconveniences that may have been caused.
