“I really wanted to love Wordery and made 3 orders before Christmas and so far only 2 have arrived.The delivery is way too slow and the delivery estimates over promised. I have had to chase 2 of the orders. Also I wish the books had thier own reviews not just Trustpilot Wordery reviews.”

“For a book the size of the one I ordered, sturdier packaging was needed. While a padded "jiffy" envelope is good for a smallish book, the weight of larger books significantly compromises their impact resistance and corner impacts (general postage handling) result in damage (and in my case did, albeit minor). Excellent price, but if you seek a large book in pristine condition, find a vendor prepared to either double-bubblewrap or bubblewrap inside a cardboard wraparound (which, individually, aren't great either but if used well tend to be better *except* for *hardcovers*)”

“I thought the choice of books and web site were easy to use. I paid a £1 for quicker delivery but had to wait a week for the books to arrive so felt a bit mislead on this. May not seem a lot but for 500 customers that would be £500!!!!!”

“Generally I’m very happy, but if a book is going to be delayed it would be good if you could notify earlier. I had to contact you about a book I’d ordered for Christmas on the 10/12, and although I got a prompt response stating you’d hope it would arrive in time, it didn’t come until the 27/12. I’ll still use the service, but more communication on delays would be appreciated.”

“Good prices but delivery times were a little ridiculous. I ordered on the 6 Dec and items weren't dispatched until 21 Dec despite an estimated arrival time of 6-11 working days from order. Would not buy from Wordery again if I was looking to purchase gifts for a specific date”

“I made an order with express delivery (tracked next day courier). In the end everything worked out OK and the items were delivered on the specified day. However, on the evening before the day of delivery, your website was telling me that the order had not been dispatched and that the delivery deadline would be missed. Of course I was happy that this did not turn out to be the case, but I did waste some time and energy that evening with looking into alternative solutions and with writing to you to ask to cancel the order. So please do ensure that the tracking information on your website is accurate.”

“The book was poorly packed, no bubble wrap or whatsoever packaging around it, which is not acceptable at all. Improve your packaging skills, because the edges of my book came slightly crushed because of this. Shiping speed was just average.”

“Item was fine but delivery was very slow and item arrived later than stated. Despite ordering on 7th Dec. it wasn't despatched for almost two weeks and arrived after Christmas - not ideal as it was a Christmas present.”

“Delivered quickly. However the front cover was damaged by the packing. Seemed like they folded the corners in when placing in the box. As I needed the book for myself I didn't bother querying this.”

“As ever, very prompt service and good prices, but unfortunately one paperback book I ordered came with a creased front cover. I accepted it as I wanted it immediately as a gift, but would have preferred a pristine cover. Also I did not notice that I could have claimed 5% discount as I ordered two books.”
