“Molly Maids came to my home to clean started moving things , And they didn’t clean it well and they stole several items from my home , out of my drawers , out of my storage cabinet. And they didn’t even clean my home good . I would never hire this company to clean my home again”

“I ordered a Tshirt and received a sweatshirt that’s the wrong size and with different art. Not even close to what was paid. I paid $20. They offered me $9.
The order was also missing the visor I paid for.
I sent a picture from my purchase receipt of the Tshirt ordered and also of the sweatshirt received AND they claim they are the same! I’ve tried to include the pictures of both in this review but they won’t download.
Their solution is for me to pay postage to return to CHINA. Buyer beware.”
“Over charged for terrible service. Seaside Ca. $ 260. For 2 hrs. of what was supposed to be a initial deep cleaning. They did a bad job and when I showed them, the franchise owner and a first time employee, what still needed to be done they still didn't do what was requested. After letting them know of my dissatisfaction they acted like they didn't know what to do about it so I told her to forget about coming back. Now after a day to really check thier work out I'm really not happy... Just needed to vent I guess.”
“Hello! I’m writing to inform anyone considering using Molly Maid of Mt Pleasant to think twice. While the owner was pleasant on the phone and sent two girls, they left my home within moments. I had told the owner, Jennifer, that I am house training two baby puppies. She informed me that she would not subject her girls to my house.
I do NOT live in a barn & have been cleaning after each puppy accident for weeks.
I do not know what Molly Maid of Mt P does. They don’t clean glass furniture inserts, polish furniture or floors.
This is the 2nd time I’ve tried to use them to no avail. I will not do so again. Anyone considering using this company, please contact another .”
“I just had the unfortunate experience of speaking with Gina; in scheduling who openly complained about having to re-book my service AND told an untruth about giving me 3 weeks heads up notice.
Oh, I SAW the notice alright, the notice for a cleaning on the 1st of November! It has BARELY BEEN 3 WEEKS SINCE MY LAST CLEANING, MIND YOU.
I do not need to give a reason for cancelling a service because I do not find it appropriate for Molly Maid to be privy to my personal life but now I know that If I have an emergency, I am going to have to hear a complaint about how (and i quote) , "We turn down jobs for customers that have those slots reserved especially at the holidays so I need to find something to book in your place now tomorrow". Is that the standard for Molly Maid? to mention that to paying consumers. Was it necessary?

As someone who works in customer service, I am human and have my complaints, but I NEVER let a client know that I feel inconvenienced by their actions. I never complain to them about having to do my JOB. Remember what her job was? SCHEDULING. That includes RE-SCHEDULING as well. I haven't had ANY issues with my regular maids, and I would normally recommend Molly Maid as far as cleaning goes but if consumers who spend their last dime trying to keep their house nice and clean are treated like THIS? I would NO LONGER RECOMMEND MOLLY MAID.

“Do not use Molly Maid unless you want to pay more than they estimate.
I had ordered a move-in cleaning for my new house, which was completely empty, with no furniture or boxes. The house was in decent condition and broom clean when they arrived.
The cleaners were pleasant, and the parts they completed were fine—more of a good wipedown than a thorough scrub, but not what I'd consider heavy-duty cleaning. That is not why I gave 1 star.
However, dealing with the main office was frustrating. The initial estimate ranged from $426 to $568, a 33% price variation. I expected to be charged at the higher end, which is typical in business. After a few hours on-site, I received a call stating they couldn’t finish without additional charges for more hours. For an empty house and a job that wasn’t a deep clean, this felt unreasonable. If it had been a truly deep scrub, an extra hour would have been understandable, but that was not the case. I declined the extra charges and ended up finishing the cleaning myself. It seemed unfair to pay more due to slow pacing or inaccurate estimating, and I made that clear.”
“I spoke to Alma and she is very rude (above and beyond rudeness), I requested for house cleaning since we have very minor work at the bathroom ( not even a construction work!), but she insist 2 ladies needs to do the whole bathroom (without bathtub as I told her). I suggest maybe one can do the bathroom and other lady can do the master's bedroom - again she said that is not part of the agreement, since I booked only for 2 hours. Who will do the cleaning for 2 hours in a small bathroom? for 2 people?? Ive seen negative reviews from Las Vegas and I think they are right. I specifically told her to clean master's bathroom and bedroom and kitchen cabinet (external). But she said there is a lot of cleaning services and I will not be satisfy with their cleaning anyway. “We had Molly Maid Burlington for a few months. On day 1, one of the ladies was in the bathroom upstairs cleaning and suddenly our kitchen ceiling was leaking like a waterfall, my husband ran upstairs to see what was going on to find the door to the bathroom locked. He knocked and said that there is a leak and please open the door. She claimed to be using the facilities and she would be a moment. She finally opened the door to the attending supervisor who closed the door again. Once the door was finally opened the supervisor stated that there was no water anywhere and it must have been a faulty pipe. The girl that was locked in the bathroom conveniently while the leak came down, came downstairs and cried when she realized what had happened.
We had 3 professional assessments whom all reported no issues in our piping and that water came from up above in the bathroom. I called to discuss and the supervisor insisted on denying that her people had nothing to do with it. I continued to have them come back giving them the benefit of the doubt. We spent $2500 to fix the ceiling and never had them back in. They REFUSED to acknowledge any wrong doing, or even that it happened on their watch. They refused to be professional, accountable or even acknowledge that this happened. Completely mind boggling to me especially since I was willing to keep them providing they would work with us to work something out. Truly unbelievably unprofessional.”
“I just called to speak to a representative about the services their company provides and to schedule cleaning services at my home in Bethesda, MD. The individual I spoke to hung up on me. I tried calling back thinking we had a bad connection, but no one answered the phone. If that's the customer this company provides then I'm happy I didn't hire them.”
“Seems to me that the question should be what does MM clean? Extremely dissatisfied
with a job for $200+ performed in 1hr and a half. Had two ladies clean my studio. When they were finished, as well as we showed them what was not satisfactory so they had to clean again, we had to go over some of the stuff ourselves after they left.
I am not a picky person but seeing the "professionals" doing just a mediocre jobs for $100+ an hour, least I could do is write this review so others will see who they are hiring. I'd never hire Molly Maids again.”
“I have been using Molly Maids for years & they had done an adequate job “until” there was an issue ! While cleaning our bedroom , they had left water marks dor liquid rings on the table tops ! They denied that they could possibly could have done that . I had the Mgr. named Isis (?) saw the rings & even tried to use wax to try to rectify . Pledge wax did not help .
She said she would have the owner named Gary call me , but after a week when I called was informed that he would speak with an upset customer .
Was then informed that since I had not informed them right away , I waited to the next clean, we probably had caused the issue .
Untrustworthy, & do not stand behind their work , with different crews every week . I can not have this service back after basically claiming I was telling an untruth after the manager had seen & acknowledged the issue .
Bad company, not standing behind an issue ! Would not recommend doing business .”
“Molly Maids is one of the worst services you can go with. We were quoted a price for a new move-in cleaning and not only did they not finish the upstairs but what they had done was horrible and there were several layers of dusts and dirt still. They then stated they were going to have to charge an extra $300+ for any more time that was going to be used. I emailed the company and have received no response at all. 1. Too expensive and they dont go by their quotes.. Do not believe what they tell you. 2. Their work is not complete or good at all.”
“Team 24 Diana and Darcy did not clean well they didn’t dust my living room tables they said they dust blinds well I don’t have blinds did not mop bathrooms I was very disappointed never used a cleaning company before and definitely want use this company again”
“Definitely would NOT recommend. I was told my cleanings would be for 2 hours, come to find out they didn’t even clean for 1 hour. The floor has been missed MANY times, they do not dust or wipe anything down on the counters. Base boards were missed, cleaning the stove was missed. I’ve complained many times but I’ve gotten nothing but excuses from the owner. They do not do anything their website claims they do. Instead of dealing with the issues and fixing their mistakes the owner told me I should find a new cleaning company. Shame on Molly Maid for their lack of integrity and poor quality of work.”
“The absolute worse service, cost me more money when they finished. These people were dishonest about shattering a light bulb that got stuck in the fixture needing to call an electrician, they pour their dirty mop water down my shower drain, had to call in a plumber. When I spoke with the manager she the workers denied doing it. Cannot be trusted, what a scam, and they didn't even clean my whole house.”
“We are the owners of a house when the tenant left she paid Molly maid to clean for her .
The house was not cleaned to a good standard . No skirting boards wiped or walls cleaned . I would most definitely not recommend Molly maid . In fact neighbours said the girls from Molly maid we’re chatting on the drive for ages x

“Well we moved out, selling our house we had in contract the buyer wanted professional cleaning done. So we had Molly Maid come in. Big Mistake. I thoroughly cleaned house before we moved, I would be ashamed to live a dirty house to someone. The house was empty, no obstructions in any body's way. Molly Maid crew had nothing to do basically yet they charged us over $ 400.00. I would never recommend them, and they also never sent me a receipt as I asked them to. I like to know what they did, no one watching them.”
