“Poor service and overpriced. Refused to give a credit after 24 hour. I’m the owner of the house where the service was done. Tenant is the account holder but we had to pay. Realized the poor service by accident because electrician had to go into the house to change a fan.”
“I scheduled a month in advance to have my condo cleaned two days before Christmas. On the day of cleaning I waited and waited and finally called only to find out they somehow took me off the schedule. Unfortunately whoever is doing the scheduling needs to change the way they are doing it. Maybe a system update?”

“I hired Molly Maid for the first time to deep clean my kitchen and two bathrooms. The main part of the kitchen was done okay, but the floor at the corners of the refrigerator was still dirty. Also, the part of the kitchen where the table is was not even touched. There was debris under the table, so they didn't even vacuum let alone mop the floor. Tell me, how do you leave part of the kitchen dirty?? The shower doors in one bathroom were not cleaned. I would like to know Molly Maid's definition of a DEEP CLEAN. I will not be using this company again.”
“Well, I gave MM 2 stars because the first visit for a full cleaning went pretty well (not as good as my previous service but "good enough"). We decided to sign up for bi-weekly visits at $158 for 1hr 15 minutes and felt duped. Nothing other than the toilets and counters were done properly. The tile floors must have been washed only with water and none of the area rugs were vacuumed (still dog hair stuck on rather smooth surface). the area rugs on the tile floors were never moved to clean the floors which means they simply cleaned around them. Gross! No dusting under open furniture throughout the house and none of the shelves or surfaces seemed to be dusted (just looking at them on an angle convinced me of that). To there credit MM did come back and redo some of the problems but we had to wait 5 days for the visit.
Two weeks later a new team came and were even worse than the previous team; juice stains and food grit were stuck on the kitchen counters which tells me the counters were likely dusted but not cleaned with a proper cleaning agent. I could go on but you get my drift ....... "a promise made is supposed to be a promise kept" but apparently this is not part of the Molly Maid business model. It appears their model is based on "do a minimal job and if the customer complains we will come back". While they did offer to come back each time to correct the problem, we shouldn't have to be the quality agents who insure that their employees do what MM promises they will do. I don't get the sense that their business model includes hiring quality and well trained service providers, as well.
So, the rest of the story is we cancelled our service agreement (it felt like we were the only ones keeping our end of the bargain by paying their fee at the time of the visits), and we reluctantly cannot recommend this cleaning service to others. Too much risk of being disappointed and frustrated. We are going back to our original cleaning company which is $50 cheaper and 2 people working a full 2 hours each visit.”

Agreed a fee of $195 for 1 & 1/2 hours to clean master bedroom, two bathrooms and kitchen.
At the end of the allotted time, I called MM to say that the kitchen had not been cleaned.
I agreed to pay another $45 for an extra half an hour.
Still the kitchen wasn't cleaned so I recorded a conversation with one of the girls via a (useless ) phone translation app. trying to tell her to stop cleaning picture frames and work on the kitchen.The response was " Mm Mm "
I'm a retired 78 year old living on Social Security, so the extra charge was an unpleasant surprise for me.
I was educated in England and learned French at school. ... wish it had been Spanish !!
Would NOT recommend this company to anyone.”
“I was told $250 for 2 hours. They went over 1/2 to 45 minutes and I was charged $440. That seems to be a little excessive.
They did a decent job but $440. Will never use your service again.”
“I was very disappointed. Our home is tiny 984 sq. ft. I have cleaned my own house for all my life, but with two small businesses I just wanted a break. Unfortunately I could have done what they did in the same amount of time and still gotten it cleaner. I had to sweep the kitchen floor and the baseboards looked like they did when they walked in. The kitchen was incomplete several surfaces uncleaned, top of fridge still dusty, windowsill ditto. This was supposed to be a "deep clean" I assure you it was not. I feel like I wasted my money and won't ask them back.”
“I was disappointed in the actual cleaning service I received. I was having my house cleaned after a remodel. I needed outside of all my cabinets wiped down mirrors cleaned, dusting and floors swept and mopped. I was told it would take about 2.5 hours. I was very specific about what I needed done.
The cleaners were very prompt and friendly. However the cleaning was not done well. I had to keep showing them the places on cabinets that needed cleaned. When I was asked to check the work down upstairs, told them the mirror still had white spots on it. The cleaner came back and said it was paint and she would have to use a scrubber to get it off. I knew nothing was painted after the mirror was installed. I wet a cloth and got the marks off myself. I had to also wipe down some cabinets because they didn’t. They also didn’t clean the counter in my kitchen garden window. They did not even get to the floor in the family room. Their supervisor Stephanie came to check their work and give an estimate for regular cleaning. If she had not done the sweeping and some dusting in my formal dinning room, that wouldn’t have done either.
I head a professional service because I do not have the health to do it all myself. Needless to say I will not be using them again. I know there is a 24 hour guarantee but I just don’t have the energy to deal with them again.”
“I hired Molly maid for what they said was a “deep cleaning” after my remodel. After they finished and I came inside the house, the floors were still with dust (I saw my feet all black) after walking just a little throughout the house. The cabinets inside kitchen were not cleaned, they didn’t wash windows from outside where they could reach ( as promised when I made the phone call). Or inside they didn’t get the details. I was very disappointed with this service. This was just a quick wipe through not a DEEP CLEANING!!! I won’t hire them again. One thing I would do different is be a Karen and watch every move they make and tell them if they miss something. Otherwise they just want to get easy money. I did call them and they came back did quick wipe through so I would see them working and left. I didn’t bother them again.”
“I paid $246 for a deep cleaning. I didn't get it! They have not called to follow up on the service they provided. Everything not dusted kitchen floor had something stuck on it. I left it there to see what kind if job the did..they didn't touch it. Master bath had dust in the corners..stove top wasn't cleaned good enough..they said they would clean the oven..it was not touched.....so many more areas were not cleaned to my satisfaction. I had a doctor's appt. They were gone when I got home. I would not recommend them unless you are there to inspect. I think I deserve my money back. I have health issues and not able to do what's necessary anymore.”
“I must say the girls who came today Dominique and Candace , did an adequate job. Just ok. Compared to the girls last time ,July 13, who were outstanding. There were a few things left out of place. They left a cleaning cloth on the mantle and some floor dust in the corner. I hope to have a much better experience next time.

“A previous experience with Molly Maid associates was so excellent that I hired the company to send representatives again today. Today was challenging. Both Molly Maid employees claimed they did not speak English. There was confusion about what they could and couldn’t do in a kitchen. They did not want to clean the oven. Everything was stalling. Then I was told I needed to pay for the time they worked and the time they got instructions. That was a significant problem because instructions had to be done by someone in the office through a telephone call, and then my intermediate instructions took a long time. Unfortunately because of this experience I will not call on Molly Maid again.”
“They have a bad management. They exploit their employees. The maids were too tired by the time they arrived that they did a bad job. They didn't clean the shoeer, neither the tiles and nor the medicine cabinet. They were too much in a hurry to go to the next client.”
“Was a Move-in cleaning job. I am deeply disappointed and somewhat irate. Should have been a straightforward cleaning job. Instead, they did not give me a chance to inspect the cleaning and rushed out!
Unfortunately, I did not notice right away BUT saw later on that the kitchen shelves were left extremely dirty. They were not even wiped, and it was obvious that they got skipped along with many other areas including the Backsplash, where marks could still be seen from drips during cooking. Seems they left in a hurry. The floors should have been mopped, but were merely swept.
So called "Lead cleaner" had an attitude. She basically did NOT do the job she was hired to do. Plus she also essentially misinformed me that she cleaned everything!! This turned out to be a lie.
I was told she was an experienced Lead cleaner, and definitely she acted like she was better than anyone else! , but frankly she was very rude, and did not communicate well at all.
The company did not follow up with me... specially as I was a new customer.
I definitely will NOTrecommend them.”
“I find the service to be very inconsistent. It started out with a very thorough cleaning of the house, lasting about an hour and a half, but lately the cleaning ladies are done after barely 40 minutes having done a very superficial cleaning.”
