Bought a faulty mobile online on 17th June 2018 via paypal. Refused refund at castle court store & accused of lying. Rang Argos & mobile was collected on 21/06/2018. It's now 17th July and I'm still waiting for my money. FUMING AND NEVER BUYING FROM ARGOS AGAIN!

I have ordered a bed frame and matress 2 weeks ago for my new unfurnished house. Argos called me last Saturday ( after 2 weeks of waiting ) and said there is a delay in my order and I have to wait another 2 weeks. Because of them I would have to sleep on the floor for approximately 2 weeks ( if they deliver items on time otherwise I could be even more). If I new it ealier I could find reatiler who could delivery it on time now its too late !!! It was my last time with Argos. Not recomended at all!!!

I purchased a Nokia 7 on the 3rd of which was being advertised with a free gift. Today is the 16th of July and they are just pushing me around. Be aware if you see any Argos promotion with promise of a free gift you will never receive it just a trap for you to buy. I have provided them with copy of my receipt and IMEI number of the phone they are just refusing to respond. They take advantage of you and rip you off very untrustworthy.

On 28th April 2018 I decided to purchase a new Samsung 55MU6220 55 inch curved 4k UHD smart tv with HDR. To say this was the start of a process that can only be described as a nightmare is an under statement. When completing the purchase under the `special offers and frequently bought together` there was an offer if you bought the sound bar listed, namely a Samsung HW-K335 120 W 2,1 ch sound bar with sub woofer. you could claim (after 30 days from purchase) £200 cash back from Samsung. I hadn't thought about purchasing a sound bar, but the offer seemed really good so I decided to purchase the specified model. The first issue I had was the sound bar would not connect wirelessly to the TV. I contacted Samsung Support for advice and was told this was because the model of TV I had purchased didn't have blue tooth. I contacted Argos as the TV purchased clearly stated on your web site that the TV did have Bluetooth. I was advised the description would be amended. I explained that I now would need a cable to connect the sound bar and requested one be delivered to me free of charge. A cable was delivered but it was the wrong one, so I had to go and purchase the correct one from my local store. At the end of May, 30 days after I purchased the TV and sound bar, I submitted a cashback claim to Samsung. Between this date and 23rd June I submitted the documents they requested as evidence on 4 separate occasions - on the first 3 occasions they said they were blurry! I finally received a response to say that `the model sound bar purchased is not a qualifying product....and I won`t receive the £200 cashback. This whole process has left me extremely angry, I purchased the TV and Sound bar in good faith, as described by Argos, and as part of a cashback promotion advertised by Argos. Argos is guilty of mis description in terms of the TV and cashback promotion. They are now asking me to provide evidence of the promotion - unbelievable!1 Don't buy from them !

I bought a Fitbit from Argos Gypsy lane Luton in March this year, the strap has Brocken off the main watch, I went back o them and showed it to them, all they could say that it was my fault and they even accused me of braking it on purpose, I called Fitbit how were very happy to send me a strap replacement. I will never ever go back to Argos again, and I will Make sure I discourage all my friend from going to them.

I've been waiting for collection of bed frame and mattress topper for a whole week now! Every day Argos Customer Care team is assuring me that the collection will happen EVERY SINGLE DAY the same thing!!! Then nobody ever comes!!! I am rushing after work and spending the whole evening at home as if I don't have anything else better to do with my life! They lie constantly that the collection man came but he couldn't reach me which is an ABSOLUTE lie! Never purchase ever again with them! Such a lying company with No Customer Care whatsoever!!! Still no solution to my problem! The items are still not collected and I will be away from tomorrow so I literary don't know what to do anymore!!!

Bought a bush tv a year ago, it failed to start up half way through warranty so contacted bush who exchanged for another tv, supposedly like for like, had that only 3 weeks and it wouldn't start properly and put itself on constant standby. Was told by bush to take tv back to Argos with receipt and their reference number for a replacement. Argos completely refused said that the tv I was returning was not the same type and not even a smart tv. They kept my old receipt and told me to not bother to try and bring tv back. Ended up taking the tv to the tip. 1) the tv was still under its year warranty 2) I had the original receipt 3) bush had exchanged the tv for one that was supposed to be the same 4) I had the bush reference number 5) I was shown up in the Argos store.

I can not fault customer service the girl I spoke to was more than helpful and sympathetic to my problem. My complaint is with the whole web page experience. I don’t usually have problems ordering on line, but Argos on line always manages to confuse me. I wanted a Vax hoover sending to my step daughter in Dawlish. For some unknown reason it went to Salisbury. I straight away went to live chat to ask them to deliver to correct address. I was told this was impossible now. I ended up having to cancel. NO I didn’t reorder with Argos I went to AMAZON and two clicks it will be delivered to her tomorrow. It may be a little more expensive but at least you get a service that works. Bye bye Argos.

I ordered a Double Mattress 4 weeks ago, a Silentnight Walton 1200 Pocket Sprung Luxury Double Mattress FOR £299 pounds I waited a week your men delivered it and it was a ‘Single’ at which point I was told thats what I had ordered??? For a double bed, I think NOT. So your men took it back, I rang customer services and they said I had ordered a Single Mattress and that the double was £399. I paid over the phone the extra £100, and waited another week, the mattress arrived and guess what – it was the wrong make and the wrong size This time it was a King Size, your delivery man tried to force it into the bed and when I told him it was the wrong one he said he wasn’t taking it Back and to ring customer services So I rang customer services who said they must have given mine to someone else and I ended up with the wrong one ??? So I asked for a refund as I need a mattress for my very poorly mother to visit this Friday. So far only £299 of my money has been refunded I am waiting for the other £100 and I am annoyed about this too. Then the final icing on the cake was, I organised a ‘pick up date’ with your customer services for the Thursday as I am not available on the Wednesday And my disabled Mother is arriving Friday. Then this morning(Sunday) your customer services rang me and said that there was an earlier pick up date if I want it on the Wednesday, I said a LOUD NO as I was away, she STILL went ahead and changed it anyway, I know this because you texted me with the ‘NEW PICK UP DATE OF WEDNESDAY’ So I have had to call your customer services again where I have just had an appalling call with your customer service representative who say there is NO room left on Thursday, and they don’t know why she changed it without my permission and when I asked them what was I to do with the mattress as my DISABLED mum needs the bedroom he said, I don’t know but if you put the mattress outside we will sue you????? As it stands apparently your mattress is more important than a very poorly 80 year old lady. He told me to ring back tonight but he doesn’t think they can help and that was that – in other words ARGOS don’t care… I still don't know what to do with the mattress and where my other £100 pounds is I will have to keep chasing you for that I suppose, but I will have to carry the mattress that isn't mine down the stairs to make the room ready for my disabled mum. I am never buying from Argos again and I am telling friends and family about the appalling service, as well as posting on all social media outlets I want this resolving - over to you Argos Mrs J Higgens

I bought and Acer Aspire 1 laptop on 4/5/2018 from the Banbury store, after my previous laptop stopped working, so I was unable to check it out online. It works but it only has one drive of 28GB, so most days it wants to upgrade Windows 10, but it can't not enough GB. The laptop is not fit for purpose, Argos should not have sold it. I have spoken to the Banbury store and the call centre who both refuse to allow me to upgrade to another Acer laptop. So I am avoiding Argos, yesterday I bought a Dyson Vacuum from Curry's.

Grew up with Argos used successfully many times over years. Bought 50 metre Hozelock and the accessories were missing. I should have opened the cardboard box that had lots masking tape on it was last one in stock. I set it up for elderly aunt in London hot weather new plants but no attachments. I used her old connectors and contacted the most useless customer services with false promises but they wanted me to return product even though they have my receipt electronically I sent pics of battered box( I think it was a return as Hozelock FIX their attachments to packaging). I explained to drive into London drive 26 miles to the Argos shop it was not worth fuel etc. I assumed they could just post it out. No common sense this old favourite high street shop has gone down just do not care. I wonder if customer services is based abroad too I had trouble understanding the people poor English don't care it's just a job after all. Avoid.

Ordered a PHILIPS HD TV in 2017 which was OK. However, 15 months later the remote control developed a fault. I phone customer services and explained the problem and they hung up on me. I phoned again, giving my details and I was cut off again. The third time I phoned, I was given a phone number to contact PHILIPS help line.

Shocked at the blatant dishonesty!!! I ordered an item from Argos for delivery. When it arrived it had clearly already been opened, the contents unpacked and then shoved back in again. The box was damaged with multiple rips and holes and the contents were hanging out of the top which had a single piece of sticky tape over the item and box to hold it all together. As this was a present I was less than amused. Shocking disregard Argos seems to have for their customers and the money they spend on Argos products!!  As you would expect, I left an honest review, with photos evidencing my experience. I was disgusted then when I received an email from Argos advising they would not be publishing my review!! Contacted Argos on social media to complain and was offered £5 gift card but my complaint regarding the dishonest approach to reviews is being ignored!!  One has to wonder how many other Argos customers who wanted to report dreadful service have likewise been blocked!! Utterly appalling behaviour.

Ordered a washing machine on their website that was showing in stock for delivery. Ours had just died so we thought great. Got to the day before delivery (2 weeks later) to be told that the supplier hadn't sent the machine to argos. Had to wait another 2 weeks for delivery and was told I'd be contacted about a goodwill gesture, guess what? No contact whatsoever. Pathetic customer experiences

For the third (and last) time Argos' customer service has FAILED big time. First of all, I was sold a cooker that never worked properly. I also paid for the cooker to be installed - the cooker never worked properly and I asked for a refund. They agreed, but would NOT refund my recycling of old cooker and installation. I had to keep a gas cooker that keeps turning off. Now this third time, I ordered a washing machine and paid using my bank card & Love to Shop vouchers. As they said it would take almost a month for delivery, I asked to cancel. At this time, I was not told I would be refunded with a refund to card and an Argos gift card. How is this even right? I had already said, I would never ever buy from Argos again. I have been a customer for many years, but have seen the company go from bad to worse. Customer service simply does not exist. I now have a £50 Argos voucher that I did not want or ask for. I need my original vouchers back, or a cash refund in order to buy a washing machine elsewhere, but they point blank refuse to refund what is mine. Disgusting.

Argos refused to refund for a tv that was producing bad, smudgy colour pictures despite customer taking steps to fine tune the set. Customer had product for less than 3 weeks of the 30 day period as per Argos. We are in the process of escalating the complaint.

Honestly really disappointed Had three damaged dishwashers from argos within a few months time frame. first one we had for few months but it kept leaking and found out it was damaged at back and the weld was broke. so got a replacement and after a further few weeks it had the same leaking issue, had an engineer come out twice to find it had same problem and was dameged at the back again. So today we got the third new dishwasher and had the other taken back. Had an indesit brand one though as was hoping maybe the issue was where the last two bush dishwashers were being kept, plus was told they didnt do them anymore, wounder why. Anyway within 10 minutes of it being delivered i opened it up and took the packaging off to find screws missing from the bottom rear of it and a dent in the side of it, we have just paid for a new expensive product again and gotten something which looks second hand. After talking to customer services and being told we wouldn't get a replacement for a further 18 days was beyond a joke. how many dishwashers must get sent back before someone actually quality checks them before they get boxed up. Having refund and going to use it somewhere we can actually get what was advertised.
