“This place now a disaster! I was customer for many years and use to spend every week at least £150-£200...I never was checking a receipts until one day, was baying something and realize no them special offers and no sale prices included in my receipt...Well, after that I start checking each receipt and after each shopping I had to go to customers service and asking where them sales prices where was advertising on a shelf's or them multi-buy savings? Well, last time my was just last Sunday. I got bed double set, which was £20, but on a till coming up a full price-£28 and double sheet, which was -£5, but coming up a full price-£8 and pillow case-£3, which coming up -£3,50. It was taking me a long time to explain them prices not right until I had to canceled them items. From customer service girl coming up with me and I showed in a shelf's where was all them items. End up - double set was-£20, double sheet was-£5 and pillow case was £3.
In total I "saved"-£11,50, but this is not most of all "fun" part:). When I come back home and check my receipt again, I find out the same coffee was scanned twice-£3 pound gone from my packet and Fish fillets was reduced from £3 to £2, but on receipt was - £3. Another words- £4 was gone from my packet... You can make simple calculation, how much I'm be lost if I didn't check my receipt in a first place:). Shop assistant wasn't pleasant too, she just was trowing everything and keep scanning quick is possible, didn't care about my full basket at all. So, I will never ever will come back to this scam shop any more, this was my last shopping and people stay away from this shop, because you a not saving money, but only loosing money!!!”
“Just picked up a Smoby Mini Kitchen for our Grand Daughter who’s 2 1/2.
It was bought as a replacement for Peppa Pig Kitchen, we bought as a Christmas present.
I have written to Smoby, but wanted to say how extremely disappointed we are with this plastic and cupboard, kitchen. It is extremely flimsy, and it is certainly not worth anywhere near the £80 paid, that Asda charge for this product, we are very unhappy.”
“really disgusting in asda not delivered my order which I needed as it had my son baby milk on to tell me my son will basically have to wait till 8am in the morning which has left me no money in the bank and no baby milk plus no one got in touch to let me no my order wasn't be delivered so I had to ring them to find out where my order is never had any problems with the since I been with them 3 years and the driver said he could not find my street SHAME ON YOU LEAVING A 7MONTH OLD BABY WITH NO MILK DISGUSTING”
“I recently did an on line shop, i wanted a carpet cleaner but was substituted a fabric freshener which does not do the same thing, that was annoying but what annoyed me more was a 40p charge for carrier bags when i had only one, the rest of my order was in crates which i had to empty and stack on the stairs, this has happened a few times, apart from that my order was okay and the delivery man was friendly and polite.”
“Online shipping fools customers. Bought a pair of shoes for my son to put when school resumes and asda assured that we can collect at store on Sunday 6 Jan. They sent email late evening to collect on Monday. No new shoes for the child as expected :(”
“Find the staff at Asda very friendly.
I asked Sean (Edinburgh) for an item of food, which was not out on the shelves he remembered having seen it and went to find it for me through in the store room. He was very helpful and friendly .”
“We bought our Xmas Tree from Asda (Clevedon)...one of the smallest, but best we’ve ever had! When we disposed of it a few days ago, it was still very fresh, with no watering and hardly any pine needles on the floor! We will be buying another for Xmas 2019!”
“Although asda roehampton Is not my usual supermarket i use it for some items
This afternoon I wanted some logs and smokeless fuel
Quite surprised to find none in stock.when I asked at customer services the woman on the desk could not have been more helpful she said she remembered seeing a bag of logs in the trolleys for goods found in wrong part of shop
She looked in every single trolley and eventually found it.
Went far beyond what I expected and it really impressed me so much
I think her name is julie and managers at asda should be aware they have a wonderful staff member
Thank you so much
Suzanne”
“I spoke to Denise at the Poole store…
I spoke to Denise at the Poole store after being on hold and passed to lots of insignificant departments and even the main HQ (which was not in Poole) I just wanted to locate a children’s jacket. Denise was so helpful and the first compus mentus employee I spoke to within that hour (the jacket was out of stock but she offered me an alternative and sympathised with my search) I felt she needed some recognition for her customer service as the other colleagues were as useful as a chocolate teapot and made my search long and unnecessarily upsetting as they did not listen to me. Please give Denise from west bay rd, Poole the praise she deserves in her customer service manor which if you ask me is the most vital and primary aspect in retail and consumerism xx”
“I ordered online for a special occasion and the delivery was late and contained only about 1/2 of what I ordered. I was very disappointed. They should pick the orders and set the goods aside to insure you get what you order. What is the point of ordering months in advance and paying extra? They even ran out of potatoes! I would recommend you try any other grocery chain. We were extremely disappointed.”
“I ordered my Christmas food from Asda this year after poor service from Mark's and Spencer in the past. My delivery slot was Friday evening, the 22nd. There was a box of items missing. The driver contacted the store to report this and said I'd them delivered the next day. The store rang me to confirm, then a different driver rang me to say he would collect my items and deliver the same evening. Which he did. This is customer service. It's not about no mistakes, it's about how they are dealt with, and 100% to Asda, it was sorted with several apologies. Marks and Spencer staff ( I collected in store) just shrugged suggested I looked to see what was left in store). No guesses who I'm shopping with next Christmas, thank you Asda.”
“So Asda has said that it is going to stop issuing paper receipts with online delivery food orders from 9th January and send the list of items delivered/receipt by email. Urgh!
We do Internet food orders for my inlaws who are aged 101 and 87. They are housebound and do not have a computer. My mother in law needs the paper list/receipt to check that the food delivered is correct at the time of the delivery.
I have phoned Asda but they say this is to be the new system and people cannot have paper versions anymore....so I have now also sent an email to Asda.
I guess there will be a lot of people in a similar situation who order food online for elderly people who don't use a computer.
Asda needs to appreciate the problems this will cause for many people who need support.”
“Cannot thank Michael at Leith enough for changing my flat tyre in the ASDA carpark. So grateful especially with a car full of shopping on New Years Eve and a three month old baby! He even took the time to explain what he was doing so I can change the tyre myself next time. Cheers Michael.”
“Asda, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, Fife. Shelves not filled. Hardly any party food, unless you want prawns. No Indian/Chinese boxes of party food. No dips. In spring rolls. Beer in very short supply. Perroni, Morretti and Inness & Gunn out of stock, when I finally was able to ask someone. This is the second time I have complained about this store and all I got back was an apology within a generic email. Have been shopping at this store since we moved here two years ago and have never seen it so bad as this. This store needs more staff and more stock. Appalled that shelves were not fully stocked. Especially at this time of year. Was exactly the same on the run up to Christmas. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.”
