“Whenever I shop with you I am always given food that’s not given the correct amount of days to eat it by also lots of subs and to top it all I was given mouldy bread rolls today absolutely disgusting. The whole point of doing a shop to pick up is so I don’t have to go in store to do a shop but I end up calling at another shop on the way home to get what you’ve not given me. Bye bye Asda”
“The kiosk area in whitchurch bristol has for some time now only had one person serving the queue can be very long with people needing items from the kiosk area and people collecting online orders and returning items to customer services.
This is very poor service from such a large company and not acceptable .”
“Disgraceful service at Asda Portrack. No tills open on a Saturday morning 8am just self service. Told 9am before someone would be on the till. Had a full weekly shop that had to be scanned at self service, this took 25 mins. One lady running round unlocking people's scanned queries, took an age. Large queues. In complaining to Manager was told staff cut backs, cannot cover staff who ring in sick. No contingency plan of training others to work the tills? He was not bothered. Told Manager to take it up with regional office and informed waste of time. No apology for inconvenience. I need to do a weekly shop Saturday mornings due to work commitments. Customers want to use tills especially for large lots of shopping. Not a nice experience and justifies going to Tesco who have till operators at 7.30am or Aldi and Lidl who have till operators at 8.00am.Very disappointed in Asda if this is their new policy. I spend between 150 -200 pounds a week, so if other customers do what I do and go elsewhere Asda will lose out. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.”
“All tills closed, only self service which had just two workers running around the scanners that needed help. Scanner would stop every few items so would mean waiting again for the overworked staff running backwards and forwards between scanners!! This really is not good enough and was much better before the takeover!!”
“asda app waste of time spend £100 n if ya really lucky u will get a £1 bk never have i experienced such a useless app in my life n at this time when everyone needs a little extra help due to the cost of living crisis asda continue to keep there prices high ASDA SHOULD BE ASHAMED”
“Asda Llangefni, items on the shelf marked 2 for £5, when I get to the till not e for £ 5 yet clearly marked assistant tells me they are 2 for £8 yet individually priced at £2.80 ?????
4 th time in this store 3 times things not priced right, I will now be taking photos of prices advertised on shelf and if wrong passing them on yo trading standards, how many people are you catching out each week I wonder, dort it out ASDA”
“Having posted a review some time ago about Asda moving items to other shelves and saying it was pathetic just done a weekly shop today and found that items have yet again moved to other shelves I really can't wait till morrisons opens up in Nuneaton”
“Disgraceful customer service from Asda
Disgraceful customer service from Asda. Having delivered incorrect items on a hone delivery, they are refusing to provide a refund, unless we take the items to the store. Their mistake causing significant inconvenience and cost to us.
Date of experience: 20 May 2024”
“I purchased2 bags of Asda compost which killed the plants instead of keeping them alive the stuff in the bags are not compost it's some sort of rubbish”
“Uber was told my order was not registered so no groceries at all. No communication from Asda so telephoned to get it sorted. Was told nothing they could do and refund would take up to 5 working days. So my groceries money has came out of bank leaving me £85 down and I have no groceries. I was given a £5 voucher to compensate this absolutely dreadful experience”
“I've had four spine operations and now have blood clots in both lungs. As a 54-year-old male, I rely on the disability scooters at Asda Sutton, where I've been shopping for over 28 years due to difficulty walking. Despite speaking to the store’s GSM Manishkumar Barot three times about the broken scooters, nothing has been done, neglecting the needs of blue badge disabled customers like myself. Today, when I confronted the GSM Manishkumar Barot, he was dismissive and rude, even ignoring me while talking to his staff. I've had enough of their disregard for disabled customers. Even after calling Asda complaints, they accused me of lying. The manager's arrogance and lack of empathy are appalling. I'm considering contacting watchdog and writing to them about our rights. I urge others to join me in demanding better treatment from Asda Sutton.”
“Half handsets not working half port holes for handsets taped up. Staff wasn't interested in helping. Very long queues so walked out as last time that happened I got a fine and asda were not helpful at all. Will Not BE SHOPPING
at asda again nor the 2 ladies I take shopping.”
“Asda the third largest supermarket has recently posted record profits of £1.1bn. Within days of the announcing this 24% increase it informed holders of the Blue Lights card it was halving their discount.
Blue Light cardholders are existing and retired front line workers in the NHS, police and fire service. Companies are encouraged to join this scheme and help these staff deal with increasing cost of living. Asda has been offering a 10% reduction on fresh food and certain basic food ranges but this has now been cut to 5% and all essential range cheapest foods have been removed from the scheme.
At least we’ve got Aldi and Lidl in Eastbourne who give excellent value and have loos that work.

“Ordered a delivery and yet again substitutes even though it said on line the items were available, I am not being funny with the staff as I don't know what they are told to do but exchanging a vegan product for a vegetarian or meat substitute is ridiculous just give the money back which asda don't so I've decided enough is enough and I am shopping elsewhere and why are their shelves especially the freezer department always half empty I do feel asda has gone downhill the last year”
“My wife spent over £200 was in the store for 2.25 hours then received a £79 parking fine. The staff were very helpful in cancelling the ticket however its an absolute scandal having to return to have a fine cancelled. Apparently the car park doesn't belong to Asda, shoppers beware.”
