“Worst delivery service ever. My home delivery has got cancelled 3 times (London - Leyton) in the past few months. People are relying on the company for their food deliveries. The company should cut down on the slots and simply not to accept the order at the first place if they are not capable keeping up with the pace. I have stopped ordering from Asda a year ago because of this issue, I went back to them but after my 3rd order got cancelled I don't think I am ever going back to order anything from them.”
“This is a shop that finds it acceptable to have no rules in place during a pandemic.
No social distancing
No one way system (even though there is arrows on the floor) rude management.
Everyone walks and does what they want. When approached n questioned about it they don't want to know.
250-300 people in store yet can't have any in a restaurant. Fucked up”
“2 meter rule "DOESNT MATTER" apparently according to Paul Garnett Asda Huddersfield Manager.
Thousands sadly dead due to this awful virus I think anything we can do to stop the spread SHOULD MATTER.
Staff wear T Shirts saying keep 2m away then totally abuse that well that clearly should matter too !!”
“Asda runs the worst delivery service I have ever seen in my life and I spent 2 years in the Middle East. My order was delayed by 2days and this was after I spent 7pounds just on the delivery(slots) fee.
Plus don't bother calling customer service; they are nice but 100% clueless.
I wish I could give less than 1 star.”
“Last order I got many of the items were on the sell by date - this time they haven’t even turned up with my delivery - now after midnight I am £145!down and no food with 2 children to feed - last time I will use Asda!”
“Thankyou Asda Member of Staff Who Gathered My Shopping Ready for Click and Collect ;];];] I did not have to go into the store HOW EXCELLENT IS THAT favourite supermarket , uno these guys they deserve a pay rise in my opinion , never mind minimum wage ,,,”
“Just received my Asda on-line order, as usual very helpful driver, although a bit late which I can fully understand, first time this has happened, the driver phoned me in advance to inform me and apologise. Social distancing, placed crate on top of one another which makes it easier to empty. The drivers are always so cheerful which helps in this present climate. First rate service 😁”
“Do not trust Asda with your online shopping if you are shielding.
Cancelled our order took the money twice and when you contact them they offer a slot a week later and a simple sorry.
We have to wait at least 48hrs for the money to be returned.
They were not able/interested in providing a click and collect slot.
Not like my 4 young children or I need to eat over the next week or the items we ordered for our soon to be three year olds birthday are important I suppose.
I am sure Tesco will appreciate our custom as this is ridiculous”
“Rubbish don't bother , ordered a fresh chicken , never received , put in the alternative for a frozen chicken , never received , What supper store does not have chickens ???? , staff just just couldn't be bothered going to the fresh meat counter , never again Asda”
“2 items were missing from the delivery, most of the items were out of stock so they cancelled them! i was so looking forward to most of the missing items as well. Most of the people on the internet have the same experience too, never do an online shop from them ever again.”
“Very pleasant delivery driver. A number of items ordered were substituted but 2 had to go back as not suitable. However the very ordinary basic small white loaf that was ordered - normal everyday item for most families - “not available”! Any white loaf would have done!”
“Twice in a row I've had problems not again I will never use ASDA again complete waste of time. Your reviews on here and on trust pilot speak a thousand words. They clearly have no idea any more and I strongly recommend people shope elsewhere”
“I am sorry to be writing you however with what has happened I feel that there is no choice.
As you can see from the below email chain I raised my complaint through the formal channels to no avail and a poor outcome.
In summary my issue is as follows:
I saw a TV advert on the Wednesday showing Chateau Nerf Du Pape on offer. I proceeded to the Morley Superstore on Thursday to buy some. The offer was not on in the store and I was told it’s an online only offer and to buy online. The details regarding what happened after are on the below email chain. If the store had the wine on offer as per your advert then I would have bought and had no complaint as there was plenty of bottles in stock at the time.
I then placed a total of 7 orders trying to be able to purchase the wine. I rang customer services who did not help much. I then emailed customer service with an outline of the issues (below) and there response was to give me a £5 voucher and not answer my issues. I could not even buy a bottle for that but I don’t want any money off. I just want to be able to buy the wine. I feel that you should know that customers services have a duty to answer complaints and not just to give your money away.
I then replied asking further questions and your customer services team mentioned that stock levels are updated daily and again never answered the questions that I asked. My point is around if stock levels are updated daily then how can I place 7 orders and 6 are not fulfilled. I understand deliveries stored off site but you have both my address and the local store so stock levels should be more accurate.
All I want is to be able to buy the wine at the price advertised and if the store had the up to date promotion on then I would have been able to.
Thank you for taking the time to read and I look forward to your response.”
“I purchased lots upon lots of goods, microwave, cups, pans, vacuum cleaners, towels, glasses etc.
Within 18 months later every item that I have purchased has failed, shrunk or is of such inferior quality been replaced.
It was a false economy shopping at ASDA and regretted ever since.”
“4 items I wanted to order came up with 'out of stock'. Wine I had ordered at the discounted price came up as full price when I amended my order so I deleted it. On the day of delivery I received an email telling me that another 4 items were unavailable. The delivery driver arrived on time and was very pleasant but I still had to go out to the shops to get all the items I hadn't been able to get through Asda, it sort of defeats the object of ordering a delivery to save me being close to people in a supermarket!! Won't be eager to order from Asda again...”
“I put an order for click and collect, and when I got home I noticed that a number of food stuff was not what I ordered, the replacement goods were cheaper and inferior,I then went into the store to find that the original goods that I ordered was in stock,I cannot understand why Asda put cheaper and near sell by date food In my order, never Shop again”
