“Prices at the till were different to what was shown at the shelf for 2 different items. Queried this with customer services and got a refund but I'm sure not everyone would have noticed!”
“Asda delivered a clothing parcel to the wrong address, an empty house. The parcel should have been signed for. the delivery company emailed to state it had been signed for, but the parcel can be clearly seen in the porch of the locked and empty house. It has not been signed for, and been delivered to the wrong address. Asda refuse to provide a refund, stating We have to retrieve the parcel. What sort of service is that. So now Asda, you have stolen my money and used a second rate bunch of liars as a delivery company and you expect me to sort out your mess for you. I will be posting a story on Facebook about this and ensuring it is shared against and again until you refund my money and provide a written apology. Your service level is appalling. To think I have frequenting your Broadstairs store every week since it opened.”
“I have been shopping online with Asda for over 6 months now. Every week they make substitutes on at least 6 items, I know i can opt not to take substitutes but really!! some of the substitutes they provide for some things are quite ridiculous, Whoever is making up the orders really need to have a little bit more common sense. I ordered espresso coffee pods they substituted them for XXL coffee ??? ( I mean if i ordered a Mini from a garage and they delivered a Mini bus. ) order medium Always pants they send large. order long plus Always pads they send small, mozzarella cheese substitute cheddar, screw in light bulb substitute a bayonet bulb ?? Large dog dentastix substitute small dog dentastix, the list is endless and on a weekly basis I have to complain to them.
Like most normal people when shopping I buy a weeks worth of groceries, Only to find that when the groceries arrive the FRESH meats, poultry, fish etc have only 1 day date left on them as do the cold meats. I mean if your order 3 packs of cold meat on the 7th why would you want 3 packs that go out of date on the 8th ?? Who eats 3 packs of cold meat in one day?? again I blame who ever is making up the orders if they just used a little common sense, or I wonder, are they being told to send out all the nearly out of dates to online customers orders?? We are paying customers just the same as the ones that go into the stores. I wonder would they like to be on the receiving end of these orders?? and today order arrived with 2 missing Items and 2 items that go out of date tomorrow”
“Really don't appreciate being woken up at 7:30 am on a Sunday by 1 of you're obnoxiously loud delivery van's or driver's making a delivery or 2 right outside my house!!!!!!!!”
“Was not happy with the service I received went up to the fag counter and asked for B&H dual was given B&H silver opened the packaging and realised they where the wrong ones so when I went back in they said they couldn’t change them because they where open so I had to buy the ones I wanted in the first place waste of £10.05 which isn’t cheap 😔”
“Delivery driver was not very helpful, just standing around playing with his mobile phone while I unpacked the heavy loads. He Was not wearing an Asda uniform to show he actually works for them. He could have anyone off the street??
Don't Asda management check to make sure their staff are dressed appropriately? I used to work at Asda back in the 1990s, they were way more business like back then. They even sent you home if you aren't in uniform. How times have changed, they used to be renowned for their customer service and professionalism, not anymore it seems? such a shame”
“I just wanted to say that Asda in Perth are absolutely first class and their staff are amazing..I shop there twice a week and would never go anywhere else..absolutely awesome. .thank you all so much”
“Failed to turn up for my home delivery. This is the second time nothing has arrived and no communication has been made to notify me. Apaulling way to treat customers. Will never use again.”
“Asda took money from my bank account for an online groceries order on Wednesday July 18th July. Had email saying order would be delivered 9:25am and 9:55am that morning and guess what it never arrived! On speaking to the customer service team for online groceries the lady told me that the shopping hadn’t been delivered as driver couldn’t find our house (funny considering they frequently deliver to next door but 1 from the exact same store as ours was due from). The woman advised that n9 money was taken from my bank it was just held by my bank - liars it is now 24th July and the money has been removed by Asda from my bank to theirs! Had emails from there customer service only after copying their ceo into the email change, they now tell me the order was fulfilled and they need to investigate then refund, funny I was told the shopping was returned on the very same day to store due to driver bein* unable to find our house so exactly what is there to investigate??? And why is my money still not returned to my bank by Asda as this was their incompetent staff at fault! Do not use them the6 are quick to take your cash but really do not want you having it back even if you neve4 received what you paid for, and to top it off the offered a £10e voucher as a gesture of goodwill are you taking the P! Asda is a joke and it’s complaints team are as thick as.”
“We all want a great purchasing experience don't we? But when you deal with a company on a weekly basis buying complex products there is bound to be issues. For me the true test in any relationship is when issues occur how are they handled?
Whilst I'm not a big fan of ASDA's Philippines based call centre. I understand the needs to keep the cost low. That said they always put you through to the local store. Our local representative Helen could not be more helpful every time there has been an issue she's dealt with it promptly and courteously and representing great value for me the customer . That said considering how much money I spend with these guys every week I have very very few issues and would definitely recommend ASDA's online grocery shopping service as both great value for money and ease of purchase .”
“Back to Tesco for me! 5th time groceries cancelled,no explanation or apology.Customer service outside of UK and haven't got a bloody clue what you are saying and obviously read from a script. Absolute joke.”
“Having purchased Asda special coleslaw regularly for sometime now I am disappointed with the latest packaging as it now does not have the plastic resealable lid as it use to have and opened there not an easy way to reseal for later use just wondered what your thoughts were on this one”
