We bought our first Balsam Hill Christmas tree and needed to change the size so an Angel would fit on top and not touch the ceiling. Trees were exchanged in record timing and we had our tree up right after Thanksgiving. We have been enjoying ALL the Hallmark Christmas movies, alongside our BEEautiful 9foot Balsam Hill Christmas Tree. BEEAUTIFUL addition to our family room. Will leave it up until The Ephiany when the three wise men come. :) To our surprise, we recieved a gift in the mail from Blsam Hill, thanking us for being a valued Balsam Hill customer. It was a generous block of Dark Chocolate Pretzel toffee bark. DELICIOUS!!!!! If you offer this chocolate we will buy it every year. Ordered a tree in November started to worry about the beginning of December tracked the tree they said it was delivered, but it never was. I want my tree but no customer service. Very disappointed

As a customer with choices, I want to make you aware of my experience with Balsam Hill in hopes I can prevent someone from having the same experience. Last year amongst, many other items purchased through Balsam Hill, I purchased 7 LED wreaths for decorating my house. Last year when I installed the batteries were died within about a little over a week. All of the wreaths had burned the batteries in that short of a time frame. I thought well maybe the batteries, while new, could have been bad. I changed all the batteries last year and the same thing happened again within a little over a week. This year I pulled out the wreaths to decorate, once again, replaced all batteries and hung them...same experience. So, this is the second season with wreaths hanging and no lighting. I called Balsam Hill to explain my situation. I spoke to George, Rose and Lliam on three different encounters as well as sent an email to customer service and received response from Leticia. The summary of all responses is, "we understand this is a problem, maybe go buy lithium rechargeable batteries now and hope that will address the situation. Also, we will give you 10% off a future purchase" I would expect this from a fly by night company on the internet but not one that markets as a solid quality company. To say I am deeply disappointed in their response and product is an understatement. I will not be buying from Balsam Hill and hope this helps someone else before making a purchase. Their Response: "Dear Chip, Thank you for contacting Balsam Hill. We hope this message finds you well. We appreciate your continued support as a valued customer. We want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you've encountered with your Wreaths. Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that, as your warranty has lapsed, we are unable to send a replacement at this time. We understand how frustrating this situation can be, and we truly empathize with your disappointment. Our team is here to assist you in any other way we can within the limitations of our policy. If there's a specific issue you're facing or if you have any questions, please feel free to share, and we'll do our best to offer guidance or explore alternative solutions." Such terrible customer service And what a regret to have bought a tree from Balsam Hill France our tree is crooked, recognized by Balsam Hill no commercial gesture! we will offer you either a refund or an exchange with another tree When no tree interests you, on the 7th day of Christmas, the after-sales service is terribly lousy! Our problem arose on 11/27 with a promise to change our tree, today 18 December still no stock AWESOME! We end up with a tree that is not straight and we have no solution that interests us to offer. Advice go your way. At the price of the trees the service is completely zero And for several days, balsam hill no longer responds to private messages

We purchased a tree 7 years ago at around $1200. The tree is beautiful and all the lights work. However, it is becoming very wobbly. Upon closer inspection, we determined that one of the tree joints is cracked so it doesn't hold that section firmly anymore. This is a pre-lit tree and we have NEVER had issues with the lights and they have worked perfectly and so has the remote. I have purchased Christmas wreaths and they also work great. I recently purchased some pumpkins for fall decor and the quality left a little to be desired. Customer service promptly replaced them at no cost to me. I think the quality could be better for the price but so far I've had good experiences both with most of the products as with customer service.

Ordered a wreath for the front door. Balsam Hill known for their realism in trees, garland and wreaths advertised it as Fresh Evergreens & Juniper Berry Wreath. To pay $115 for a live wreath that MAY last till Little Christmas then to be put out in the trash is SO disappointing. Noticed many complaints about other customers confused and not realizing their purchases were for a single holiday season. Hopefully your advertisement dept will address this - possibly with a disclaimer that these are live wreaths and garlands that last one season only. I have purchased several $1,000 + trees and do so because they are beautiful and last many years. For $115 I could have purchased an artificial wreath that I could reuse for several years. We ordered four wreaths two years ago three of that for a broken call customer service they said sorry we hung them for a total of 60 days and now three of the four don’t work they offered us 15% off a new order of $390 No thanks I do not recommend this company.

I have had two other artificial trees and both were realistic trees. The first one lasted 17 trees and they are no longer in business. The next one from Costco lasted 7 years. Four years ago I purchased a tree and 14 swags for my stairway from Balsam Hill. The swags light didn't work at the end of the first year. The tree has burnt strands of light at the top of the tree and they can't be replaced. The quality does not match the price. I will never purchase again from this company and the purchase was before covid so they don't have an excuse.

Bought our tree in 2019 it was beautiful. Put it up in 2020 and middle section lights were out. BH sent a replacement. In 2021, put up the tree and top section lights were out. They didn’t make that tree anymore so sent string lights. Picked out a different tree and it was beautiful but didn’t arrive by Christmas (lost in shipping). Put the tree up this year and yesterday the top section went out. My wife called customer service and they told her there was nothing they could ( or would) do. Obviously an off shore call center now could barely understand them and they wouldn’t help. She called back and got tech support. Switched out the master light three times, they would burn out immediately. They told her the lights were defective but the tree was over a year old so they can’t help. Waste of a LOT of money!

BEWARE SCAM ON FACEBOOK BALSAMHILLI.COM. They are NOT Balsam Hill. Thankfully Lloyds have put a stop on payment to Ovimani. I have spoken to the genuine Balsam Hill and they are in the process of trying to get the advert removed.

Our tree is a few years old and very expensive. After the first year whole sections of lights stopped working and despite spending hours tracking down & replacing the bulbs responsible, it still has huge gaps of darkness. Buying alternate strings this year to fill the gaps and will likely resort to stripping it of ALL lights and just retain the tree. Totally not worth the money!

Don’t buy form this company! Purchased a tree but middle part was missing. Waited one week for the replacement to arrive. And only to find out it is a faulty one and the tree does not light up on the middle section. Called customer service asking if they could send out a replacement with priority shipping and they said the replacement would arrive only in 5 working days! Waiting 2 weeks already it’s such a disappointment. Buying from a different company instead with next day delivery option

I just bought a tree from Balsam Hill and it was a total disappointment. I paid a lot of money for the tree and it didn't look as realistic as it described. I didn't realize there was $ 50 fee for the return so I asked the rep as well as the supervisor to waive the fee due to false advertisement. They refused to make the exception and said my satisfaction didn't not qualify for the free return. It's only fair that I absorb the return cost if it was my fault. It's the fact the description and pictures were falsified and I have to pay for their false advertisement. I'd pick the Costco tree over this damn ugly tree for a fraction of the price. I should have read the comments before making my purchase. Please do make the same mistake that I did.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - We purchased a $2000 9 foot tree on November 1st. By December, we had still not received it. Last week we finally received one box with half the tree then this week we got another box. When we opened it, there was half of the tree we ordered and parts from another TOTALLY DIFFERENT TREE. Customer service has been useless, have yet to agree to ship us the second half of the tree we ordered and have been completely terrible to deal with. We are SO disappointed. They are not reliable. Save your money.

DO NOT BUY PRE-LIT TREES! I purchased a clearance tree last year. I didn't want pre-lit, but that's all they had in the tree I wanted. I got the tree, set it up in my garage, and LOVED it. Sadly, I was in the middle of my 4th move in one year and misplaced the remote control. I was excited to set the tree up this year, but to my dismay, I realized I couldn't dim the tree without the remote. I called customer service, and after about 30 minutes of holding, a 10-minute delay in getting the information, I was told there were no replacement remotes for my tree. I could order one online. I have since tried 5 remotes, and NONE of them work. I now have a beautifully decorated tree, but can't have it lit at night because it's so obnoxiously bright! I can't believe a company of this caliber would charge the amount they charge and not have backup components such as a remote control to be purchased. I will cut out all the pre-lit lights and use my own dimmable lights in the future. Balsam Hill really let me down. Side note: The remote control was a tiny plastic thing that could easily be lost under any circumstances. If you buy pre-lit, which I don't recommend, DO NOT LOSE THE REMOTE!

Bought a two thousand dollar tree and after four years nothing but light issues. Call customer service and explained what the problem was and only got back very basic trouble shooting. After waiting on hold for ten minutes, I was told I had to buy a hundred dollar string of replacement lights, but since there are multiple strains out color and clear, I need multiple strains. And PS I would have to buy led because they don’t sell incandescent lights anymore.

One segment of lights went out and BH does not stock parts for the tree any longer because it is 5 years old. I was told that they erase your records after four years, so they couldn't even give me any information. Their tech department is a joke.

This is the worst Christmas tree I ever bought! It upsets me so much I don't even want to put it up! The first year we bought it the lights on the whole top never worked! I spent a long time talking to customer service. Basically they will not do anything. The only resolution they had was to send out new lights. What a joke! My lights are white and they sent out colored. I called and complained again with no resolution. Every year since a section does not work. At this point my tree has 2 sets of lights and looks absurd! You are better off buying a tree from Home Depot, Menards, or Lowe's. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BALSAM HILL!
