“edreams has been the worst booking platform my husband and i had to deal with in our entire lives. please do not ever use their platform. we were a little hesitant to use it at first but what happened to us was a horrible never-ending nightmare.
we’re writing this review to warn everyone who consider booking through them because we don’t wish that you experience what we did.
my husband and i are relocating to Manchester and we booked a flight for Singapore Airlines through edreams. As you can see from the screenshot, we topped up SGD $580.30 for extra baggage, which including the standard airline allowance, would bring our luggage allowance to a total of 120kg.
after booking this, we noticed edreams got our first names in the booking wrong. so we wrote in to have it changed to tally with our passports, just in case we could not fly.
they took 3-4 weeks to rectify this, which required them to unbook and rebook us on the Singapore Airlines flight. we accepted this. overall, this lengthy process left us frustrated but we were glad it’s resolved.
however, little did we know the worst was yet to happen. when we got to the airport for check-in, we realised the process of edreams unbooking and rebooking our flight caused our additional luggage top-up of $580.30 NOT to be captured in Singapore Airlines system.
eDREAMS FORGOT TO INCLUDE THE EXTRA BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE FOR OUR FLIGHT. this means we needed to top up luggage allowance but to match what we are missing, that would cost is a USD 980 (SGD $1,324.85). before paying this amount, we called edreams, who acknowledged their error in including our additional luggage paid and said we can go ahead with the USD 980, which they would refund us later on.
it’s been 1.5mths of back and forth with their customer service, countless phone calls and live chats on their site. but they kept putting us on hold. our phone bills have also gone through the roof thanks to all the calls with them.
it’s amazing how they scammed us of not just the top up we had to pay at the airport, but also the initial $580.30 worth of baggage, which they made a mistake of not including. It’s as if they are wearing us out so we’d give up one day and they wouldn’t need to refund us.
please save yourselves and DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EDREAMS EVER. just buy your tickets straight from the airline!!”
“Scammers and liers don't want to change my flight. Lying how they passed the request to the airline and that they need to confirm it. But I reached out to the airlines and they told me that it's all on their side.”
“I signed up for the trial period to get a discount on a flight with every intention of canceling immediately after (I already felt like it was a bit sketchy even before I saw the reviews) Well, I forgot and got an email that my account had renewed. Called them up and after about 10 minutes they agreed to give me a full refund. So overall I’d say they were pretty ok for me but I only took one flight. And ultimately I’m glad to be out of the contract.”

Absolutely worst experience. Months later and I am still trying to contact them about a refund for a booking made by one of their agents on the wrong date. I ended up having to book at the airport on the day I was supposed to be travelling.
The gist: I booked with eDreams to go from Austria to Norway because I didn't know any better. As I was in Austria I noticed that it might be a little late so I made a booking change request to go on an earlier flight. I was then told via email that they had to call me to make the change (which in this day and age is a little archaic). Now, keep in mind they are in a different time zone so they ended up calling me at 2am when I was out with my friends. They told me it would cost another $200 to which I hesitated but agreed. A couple of days later I was getting ready to head to the airport at the time of my change request and looked up the booking - they had made it for June and not for March!! I had to hurry and book a flight directly for the time I had to be there. Absolute mess.
Fast forward to being in Norway, I contact eDreams to cancel the June one and get a refund (it was their fault after all!). I am told that they need 10 days to review - which again, I was like, that's long but OK.
10 days come and go. I contact them again. No one had made any notes on my case and I had to reiterate the entire thing. Turns out there was no escalation. I wait another week and contact them again and they tell me to wait a little longer.
Another 2 weeks go by and I contact them again. I have an hour and half chat with one of their agents and then he closes the chat and I have to go through it all over again with another agent! He then tells me that they will give me a call back in 48 hours..
And.. then I wait 48 hours and no one calls.
At this stage this is still unresolved and I am on the phone with them now and I have been on hold for 20 minutes while they are 'checking'. Keep in mind that we are talking about over $1,000 for a flight I am not going to make! Sidenote: I live in Australia so it's not really like I can be like alright let's have a quick vacation either.

“be careful with these people. if you have a car reservation and you need to change the pickup time. if you didnt get an email with confirmation you will need to pay extra for changing the time 48h before pickup. sounds reasonable, but I DID change the flight and pickup time. it even has a registry in my edreams account that i confirmed i dont need help with the airline. but the change of flight did not register in the car booking. i booked another car elsewhere. cheaper than paying outrageous rebooking fees. stupid small thing but BS. bad feeling. so with the abundance of other services I will just NOT use this anymore.”

However, when we tried to cancel the booking, they told us it was impossible. They also told us that there was nothing they could do. It was up to us to contact the airline. What good was this service if you can't even contact the airline to initiate a refund? I tried to contact them via the email provided, but I got an error email.
What service is this? I paid for my ticket for a total of $365.71 with the premium service included but I didn't get any premium assistance.
I recommend to everyone to never trust this airline. They will never refund you even if you have subscribed to the refund service.

my friends and i have booked a two-way flight back in may 15 for late august, everything was confirmed, several days ago checked my booking with the airline (pegasus), and it was cancelled? upon further investigation my reservation got cancelled just 1 week after booking. i have received 0 notification about this ( but received tons of ads and junk mail).
Furthermore, after my reservation got cancelled, edreams got a refund from Pegasus, but for some reason they forgot that it was MY money they got. and nobody thought to contact me about it.
after contacting the customer support,they blamed it all on Pegasus airlines, that they were the ones that canceled my reservation, but they had no answers as to why, for 2 months i was not told about that i .The only thing the they could offer was a refund. wow thanks, now if i want to book again i have to pay triple the original price.

“Edreams is a money-hungry, shady organisation who will do everything to earn a buck, even if it means walking over your dead body. They might even turn the knife just for fun.
Customer service agents barely speak any English and even if they do understand your issue, there is nothing they can do about it unless it is about you paying Edreams money then they are the first to initiate action.
We need to get our tickets rebooked after Covid cancellations and up until this point (3 months later) they are still saying, we will get back to you in 24-48 hours to resolve the issue, even after chatting with them 4 times and explaining 'that is what you said last time'.
They are quick to point the finger at the airlines and slow to actually come to the part and resolve the issue, if at all. In our case they blamed Emirates but after a quick call from our end found this to be a blatant lie. Yet they are still unwilling to fess up or just pick up the phone and speak with us as we were able to find the answer and are happy to help them do their job.
Extremely frustrating and it has given me an ulcer and sleepless nights as their unwillingness means we are still not able to grieve our parent's loss and be with family after 3 years. Not that they care!
It might look like you will save a buck using them, but don't! It will potentially cost you thousands of dollars and at least that amount of grey hairs. Disgusting and shameful company.”
