Grubhub company charges higher prices than what’s on menu. My recent experience i ordered food for pickup and they advertised no fee for pickup but the food what $10 cheaper at actual restaurant. And to top it off the cashier at the restaurant told me that they don’t get the tip i charged to my credit card. What a ripoff,grubhub make no mention of this. It’s the last time i order through grubhub.

Will never use these food delivery again. Always missing items the wait is stupid and if you want to talk to am actual person it ain't happening. He missed all 6 milk shakes with my order you have two jobs check food that it's all there drive it to the location and drop off all items. Previous orders same situation missing items or cold because you pick up 3 other orders at the same time. Do not waist your time or money with this app you will be disappointed.

My order was only partially fulfilled. Not the first time this has happened with them. Missing items seems common. Their so called guarantee doesn’t cover when the restaurant shorts you. Then you try to complain and Grubhub acts like they don’t even know who you are (I’m a member on the app) or what order you are complaining about. This is my experience. Not using grub hub ever again.

They didn't deliver all our food. It happened to be the 4 year old's happy meal. At first they said "you didn't order "grandchild's happy meal"" ... then denied it was an ai bot and refused to put a human on the chat.. They refused to bring the missing food and refunded the money. I'm sure the 4 year appreciates that. For the ai bot that is called sarcasm.

Keep getting food that we never order. Call office told us to eat it and let the person who ordered complain they did get it. If the delivery people ring the bell they could be told this is not the house. ? Why would you deliver food and not ring the bell to know it's here. Unbelievable

They claim no fees if you are an Amazon Prime member but prices are higher than other sites. Their Grubhub guarantee is BS! I have submitted evidence of lower prices numerous times and they always have some excuse as to why my orders don't meet their guarantee. I'm done with Grubhub! No wonder why its free thru Amazon prime

I had to give one star because I couldn’t have given a review without it. Grubhub doesn’t deserve any stars but negative reviews. Frankly, I had not seen their rating prior to ordering and that’s a lesson learnt. The reason for these kind words is ( they deserve much harsher) because they didn’t it deliver the food but just recorded it delivered with no solid proof. Plus, they have zero accountability. I offered them a re-delivery at full cost of food but zero on tip, service charge and delivery. No, they didn’t take it even after understanding that I will be getting the food in 3x the time they had originally promised and that 12 year old daughter who eats dinner around 8-8:20 pm and sleeps around 9:15 will get the food after 9:15 ( it’s already 9:40 pm now and my wife is on the way to pick up the food). In summary, in my experience, there can’t be a worse food delivery company than Grubhub.

FIRST OF ALL I AM A DISABLED PERSON. So I ordered Lunch at noon the delivered items were garbage. So I ordered 4 items from Istanbul Kebab Restaurant. 2 shawarme sandwiches, which were ok, 1 kelle tandir which was also ok. And 1 egg plant kebab which was NOT DELIVERED. I called the restaurant and they appologized and told me they were out of it an they will contact Grub Hub to refund the $23.00 . I called Grubhub and they told me they refunded the garbage I received noon time because of my complaint, but they can not refund this UNSENT item even if it is not delivered. IS THIS THE WAY THEY PUNISH A CUSTOMER FOR COMPLAINING ABOUT A BAD FOOD DELIVERED, WENT TO GARGAGE WITOUT BEING CONSUMED AND PAY FOR AN ITEM WHICH IS NOT DELIVERED EVEN WITHOUT TALKING TO THE RESTAURANT WHICH ADMITS THEY COULD NOT SEND IT BECASE IT WAS FINISHED. Below is tbe picture of philly cheese steak which is filled with fat, onions and tomatos. I have never heard of a philly cheese steak like that. Just garbage.

By far the worst food delivery company I've dealt with. I canceled an order on a Wednesday, it was delivered on Thursday even though I canceled it. I called and was told no refund as it had been delivered. I canceled the order 24 hrs prior. Was told it couldn't be canceled as the restaurant already started preparing my food. So Dennys prepares bacon and eggs 24 hrs prior according to grubhub. 3 hrs of phone calls they finally figured it out. 3 hrs, 8 different people. I've had nothing but problems with grubhub, every single order. EVERY ORDER. I highly suggest growing your own food before using grubhub

The order was delivered as bread, instead of the pitts burger sandwich from primanti bros. Oakland,Pa. The bag was not sealed which leads me to be unsure if the issue was Grubhub or Primanti bros??? Either way the customer service was awful, issue reported. No entree and no offer to replace.

I ordered delivery through Grubhub, I received two pieces of bread instead of the pitts burger sandwich I ordered from primanti bros in Oakland, Pittsburgh, Pa. The bag was delivered opened and I should not have accepted it, but thinking it was ok. See photo. The wings were good. Is this a Grubhub issue or primanti bros problem??

So I ordered food. I waited an hour. They told me it was delivered but it wasn't least not to my house. So I called them on the phone They told me they could go get it and pick it up and bring it back to me. I told them I don't want it. It's 20° out. And I already waited an hour . Just refund my money after arguing with the foreign person for 20 more minutes. Finally they tell me they'll refund my money. It can take 24 hours to 10 days. Great! What's that do for me to eating today? Oh I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we'll give you a $15 credit towards your next order. Never ordering from you again. They screwed up my last three orders by making me wait and wait and wait but at least it got to me this one never did. Now it took them 2 seconds to take my money but I might have to wait 10 days to get it back. Good thing I have more money. I ordered jet's pizza and went and picked it up. How unprofessional is that? And what would happen if I was some kid and that just spent all my money. I just wouldn't be able to eat today. I wouldn't recommend them for anything matter of fact anytime I am ask about them. I promise I will share my bad experiences with them. I understand mistakes. I don't understand. They take your money in 2 seconds but won't refund it for 24 hours to 10 days. That's totally unacceptable to me.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with GrubHub due to the consistent and pervasive issues I have experienced with your service. Most recently, I waited over an hour for a meal only to have the order canceled at the last minute. This left me without food and no viable alternatives, as most restaurants had already closed by the time the cancellation was communicated. This level of unreliability is unacceptable and has been a recurring issue. Additionally, many of your drivers work for multiple apps simultaneously, which leads to excessive delays. In many cases, drivers prioritize other platforms, resulting in my food arriving cold or not at all. To make matters worse, GrubHub has refused refunds or the option for free re-orders with priority delivery in such instances, unlike competitor apps that take responsibility for similar failures. The drivers also frequently disregard specific delivery instructions. Despite clear directions listed for locating my house, they often claim to be lost or cannot find my address, leading to additional delays. Moreover, I have repeatedly received incorrect orders, missing items, or incomplete deliveries. This lack of attention to detail further diminishes the trust I have in your service. On top of these issues, delivery times regularly exceed the estimated window provided at checkout, with delays often extending to 1.5 to 2 hours. This lack of timeliness and reliability makes it difficult to rely on GrubHub for meals, especially during busy or late hours. While GrubHub has the potential to provide a convenient service, these consistent issues, unreliable drivers, poor delivery execution, inadequate resolutions, and recurring delays, make it one of the most disappointing food delivery experiences I’ve encountered. I strongly urge the company to reassess its operational processes, improve driver accountability, and adopt a more customer-focused resolution policy similar to those of competitors. At this time, I cannot recommend GrubHub and hope to see significant improvements in the future.

I once ordered from grubhub and my order was delayed an entire hour and then cancelled. I waited months before ordering again, hoping that things have improved, but to my surprise, it is the same issue. My order is sitting at the restaurant with no driver. Now, I'm just waiting for the order to cancel, so that I can order from DoorDash, while having to wait for them to refund me again. SMH

I was furious. They gave me a 5$ credit. I had to look up the order after waiting so long. They refunded me but I won't use

I ordered my dinner and have never had a problem. The driver called me and was so rude and kept hanging up on me. She said she couldn't find my home and told me to cancel the order! I contacted customer service and they said it would be sent in 30 minutes. I never heard another word and as my blood sugar dropped I looked it up and found out it had been canceled. No one called me or sent a text. I was furious. They gave me a 5$ credit. I had to look up the order after waiting so long. They refunded me but I won't use grubjub again. I ordered from door dash and got my order in 20 minutes and was cheaper to.

Review of Grubhub: A Disastrous Experience I had an absolutely terrible experience with Grubhub that jeopardized my job and inconvenienced my client. As part of a professional engagement, I ordered a lunch for a lab consisting of seven different dishes. The driver picked up the order but immediately canceled it, claiming they couldn’t find the location—without even attempting to leave the restaurant. When I contacted Grubhub to report the issue, their response was completely inadequate. They offered a refund in 5 to 7 business days, leaving me to reorder and pay again to ensure my clients were served. There was no attempt to address the driver’s actions or provide any real-time support. Grubhub’s customer service was abysmal. They refused to investigate, call the driver, or escalate the matter meaningfully. Even after requesting to speak to their escalation department, I found their representatives had limited communication skills and were utterly unhelpful. This level of poor service and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially when it impacts professional relationships and commitments. I will never use Grubhub again and strongly advise others to reconsider using this platform for any important orders.

GrubHub is the WORST delivery company. Everytime I order for something is always missing. This was my last straw with them. Tonight they only delivered 2 sides and a drink and we were missing my son's kids meal and our food. They REFUSED to reorder and pay out of their own pocket for their mess up. I will be sticking with door dash and Uber eats from now on.
