Same issue as many, rogue delivery man didn't deliver and just eat won't hold any accountability. I received the same emails, saying they've investigated, yet they don't provide photos to support their lies.

I just raised a case where a restaurant has been misrepresenting dishes and passing pictures off the internet as their own. Just Eat has refused to refund and won’t provide me with the legal reasoning as to why I’m denied a refund

The company charges you for a service that doesn't exist. Even the driver, after trying to deliver part of my order, told me it is normal that everything doesn't arrie and that I have to call the company to fix it. They give you money back for some part of the order, but you still have to pay the fees for the delivery...thus pay for people who can't complete their responsibilities.

Never received my order from kfc fort kinnard edinburgh. Driver dropped it elsewhere, marked as a delivered. Placed an complaint, in return I received email saying that they not going to provide any refund and they hope that I understand and accept that. That company is complete joke.

ordered through Just Eat and it was the worst experience I’ve had with a food delivery service. The food was reheated, off, and completely inedible and after eating only a small amount, both my son and I became ill throughout the night. I contacted Just Eat expecting them to take responsibility but instead, they sent generic, dismissive responses from multiple different agents, refused to investigate and completely ignored the fact that I was reporting a serious food safety issue. Instead of offering a refund for an unsafe meal, they told me to take it up with the FSA myself, completely washing their hands of the situation. Just Eat has no accountability for the quality of the food they facilitate selling, yet they continue profiting from restaurants that do not meet basic food hygiene standards. Avoid at all costs - if you ever get bad food, don’t expect them to help.

I made an effort to withdraw my investment but failed, causing me to doubt the platform's trustworthiness since they kept asking for additional funds. Ordered a meal from McDonald that was never delivered but driver claimed that it was delivered in a safe place. Meanwhile the cctv camera in premises did not pick the delivery. Contacted Just Eat and they declined to refund the purchase. Well have deactivated my account as do not trust Just Eat or their delivery are professional in their conduct.

Driver got lost and arrived with cold food which I refused to accept, raised a complaint with Just eat to issue a refund, they refused and claimed that the driver had tried to contact me which is absolute lies and that he had left my order in a safe place again another lie. Will never use this company again and would advise others to think seriously about using them, you cant call them and they do not investigate your complaint they simply reject you claim for a refund as per their so called policy.

I’m hugely disappointed about my experience, so let me explain in full. I ordered McDonald’s yesterday, it was first delayed in delivery so took over an hour then when it arrived I went looking for the driver, by the front door. As I was at my girlfriend’s house a different address from home, I was issued a code to give the driver. I waited and waited, did not see anyone, then I get a notification that the food had been delivered. As I didn’t have it and there was no way to contact the driver I had to go through the app and complain. I never heard back from JustEat until today, saying I cannot get a refund because the driver attempted to contact me multiple times and as there no response left my food in a ‘safe place’. So my complaint 1) if you issue me a code, and I’ve provided the driver with the full address of where the deliver is meant to be where would the safe place be other than at the house it was meant to deliver to. I did not receive me food! 2) I never received an communication from anyone to say that the driver attempted to contact me multiple times and no proof was provided and no proof of where this safe place was 3) why is you app not built to communicate this as for example Uber Eats is. 4) having no contact number to JustEat but then waiting an entire day to respond which I need to add I had used the last bit of money I had with food is an essential, I believe completely inappropriate I’m very disappointed in the overall service and I’m considering no longer ordering from this company

I’m going to stop ordering on here as my food is consistently late and cold. Despite my previous feedback, nothing happens. I’ll stick to Deliveroo and Tesco Whoosh. Much better.

I waited over 20 minutes for shop to start preparing my food, I tried to cancel but was going to be charged full price even though the restaurant still hadn’t started preparing my food. From order to delivery it took 1.5 hours.

No delivery on over £60 of food for a birthday party no body to talk to just an email saying driver deliver n left it outside front door even though we were all in the front garden for this birthday party n in ant case what’s the code for if it’s not needed n you can dump food anywhere!!!! Well enjoy my £69 of food driver !!!!! Coz my family went very hungry never use just eat just a bunch of criminals!!!!!!!!

I had an absolutely terrible experience ordering through Just Eat. I placed an order last night and never received it, despite waiting for hours. To make matters worse, when I contacted customer service, they refused to refund me for the food I never received. This is completely unacceptable. I trusted this platform to deliver as promised, and instead, I’m out of pocket with no resolution. I won’t be using Just Eat again and would warn others to be cautious—it seems they don’t take responsibility for their mistakes. Extremely disappointing! And the drivers have the option to use your last 4 digits phone number instead of the actual code. So the driver delivered the order to wrong address or eat it and use the last 4 digits phone number as he already have the customer name and phone number in his app

I ordered food through Just Eat, but when the delivery arrived, the driver opened his bag to reveal that the food was spilled everywhere. I requested a replacement, but he claimed it was due to his bike or motorbike causing the mess and promised to return, which he never did. After contacting the food service, I was informed that the driver would not come back, and they directed me to Just Eat. When I reached out to Just Eat, their response was unsatisfactory; they refused to issue a refund and dismissed my concerns. This situation is frustrating, especially since it has happened before, and I have yet to receive compensation for food I paid for but never received. It seems that Just Eat does not prioritize customer satisfaction, and I am left feeling neglected and dissatisfied with their service. I'm done with just eat. Started using them during lock down and up Intill the last year or so they were great. But the orders are arriving wrong more and more and there is nothing you can do to get it corrected. They are trying to deliver too many orders on one run so ours is always cold. And I mean it's cooolllddddd. Our last but one order he was wayyy over the delivery time and was blaming it on the chip shop saying they didn't have it ready and when you tried to get a refund the app said the chip shop refused the refund when in actual fact he had already picked it up and had to many orders to handle and nearly an hour late, so 2 hours since the order was placed it turned up stone cold. I'm sure just eat want the best service, but the drivers are killing their reputation because they are pushing too many deliveries in one run to get maximum pay. Which I get but it's making our experience very poor. Fingers crossed deliveroo are stricter with their drivers.

Really appalling company. Several grocery company deliveries probably half of the many gocery orders I made were short of items. The majority of food orders were fine. In the cases where just one or two items were missing Just Eat refunded for the missing items. However an Iceland order I made just didn't arrive but was marked "delivered". My complaint was rejected by Just Eat but fortunately I was fully refunded by PayPal. Recently a Morrison's order arrived with seventeen out of sixty-eight items missing. I mentioned to the courier who agreed verbally that he only delivered seven out of eleven bags. Despite this he left and the order was marked "delivered". I have again taken up the case with Just Eat again who refused to take responsibility. So again taken up the case with PayPal, still awaiting their decision. Terrible company where it seems the customer is nearly always wrong.

I am extremely disappointed with Just Eat’s service and their new policy. Recently, I placed an order and did not receive two of the items I paid for. To make matters worse, one of the products I did receive—mushrooms—arrived in an open box, with clear signs that someone had already eaten from it. I provided photographic evidence to Just Eat and reached out for support, but they refused to issue a refund, even for the items that were missing. This is unacceptable. As a loyal customer who used to order from Just Eat every week, I am appalled by this change in their policy. The new policy apparently states that even if items are missing from your order, no refunds will be provided. This was confirmed to me via email by one of their employees. To make matters worse, I have seen that the majority of recent reviews and comments from other customers are saying the same thing. We need to stand together and take action! Stop using their service, remove the app from your phones, and let them know this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Companies like this need to understand that they can’t treat customers this way or get away with taking people’s money without delivering what was promised. While you can try to request a refund through your bank, the process is time-consuming. It’s clear that Just Eat needs to overhaul this policy and start treating their customers with respect.
