Ordered an awning which was one of the available stock items with a 10-15 day delivery schedule. Four weeks later still no item or correspondence.They wouldn't reply to my query and neither do they have any telephone contact available.After 8 weeks I had to go through PayPal to return the £979. They say they have 2000 emails per day, so judging on the fact they were not able to answer mine from June then this would suggest a backlog of 100 000 emails which I would find worrying if I was ordering again from them. I can accept some delay but the lack of correspondence is very poor. They just needed to inform me they could no longer fulfill the order once they realised they could not supply within a reasonable time frame.

do not order anything !!!!!!! had a damaged gazebo , no reply from them just several automated emails, going to try refund from paypal , its worth a try or it will be writing of £85.00. fumimg !

I ordered a patio heater which was delivered damaged and had screws missing I have sent two emails over the last two months and had no response, their phone lines have been closed for months, this company should be reported for its in existing customer service and shouldn’t be allowed to trade like this

Ordered a garden table 3 weeks ago. I have asked few times the status of my order and delivery date. Unfortunately no feedback on when the product will be delivered. I appreciate the challenges with COVID-19 but this shouldn’t prevent a company to provide a good standard customer service for an item that has been already paid. If a company cannot fulfil an order, the company should not sell products online...

Shocking lack of service. My order delivered at the beginning of lockdown, faulty and missing a part. I cancelled another order but received it 2 weeks later. They have not responded to my complaints for 3 months! Still waiting. Truly terrible.

Do not buy ANYTHING from Primrose. This company surely must be a scam. ordered 4 plant pots at a cost of £167, only 1 delivered and no way of contacting them. emails ignored, no phone number. You are literally giving your money away. I would give no stars if possible.

Beware, don't buy from them, very delayed delivery of poor quality plants and subsequent nonexistent customer service. Ordered £50 worth of plants at the end of March with the proviso that delivery may take longer than usual because of Covid. No plants and several unanswered emails l and calls ater, I tried to cancel my order at the beginning of July. No reply but I did receive part of the order a week later. 2 out of 3 of these plants have now died. It was only after raising a complaint with PayPal that I got them to agree to cancel and refund me. Again nothing happened until I threatened the next stage of the escalation process with PayPal. My refund was finally paid the day before it would have been too late to escalate it further. It felt like they were deliberately running down the clock with PayPal to avoid paying the refund - beware of this tactic. Would give them zero stars of it was possible to.

If I could award 0 stars I would. Absolutely disgusting service. I ordered a shade sail 3 weeks ago from this company with estimated 5day delivery and it was in stock. They took my money and I have heard nothing from them since. No update, no reply to my emails, no contact number and still no shade sail. I am fuming and will never order from them again. I don’t usually read reviews but wish I had as now seeing all the negative comments and bad experiences people have also had with them. Please anyone reading this don’t take the risk of ordering with these people

We ordered a patio set on 31 May while the website was estimating five days for delivery. Our money was taken on that date and we have not received our product nor had the refund we have been requesting since 13 July. We have received an automated response and a “holding” reply to my most recent emails, which promised to “get back to me shortly” a week ago. This company is hiding behind the opportunity to close down its customer service phone lines. Other companies are managing to be contactable from their workers’ homes, why not Primrose? Give me my £210 back, please!!

: My order ref. 1700965807 Customer ref. K-7TKZ2PMCD3LRJ I ordered 2 Buxus sempervirens Box Cone / Pyramidalis 70-80cm tall. Delivery was made this morning and when unpacking the pyramids I find that, measured from the soil in the container, one tree measures 66cm and the other 58cm. I paid for 70-80cm trees and the delivery note states 70-80cm but that is not what I found when opening the packaging. Clearly there has been a mistake in picking my order and I would like this rectified as soon as possible please. I have fully unpacked the plants you have delivered and will ensure that they are watered regularly until you can collect them. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest. 10 weeks since my delivery. Numerous follow-up emails and no comment or action from Primrose Customer Service; just a simple acknowledgement of receipt of my emails.

I ordered a rose on the 3rd of May , I still have not received it or the refund requested . After sending many emails, all I have received is an automated email!! Also the phones are not maned , so cannot speak to anyone. I will NEVER use this company again , I shall use the other Plant nursery companies, who served me extremely well , even in the middle of lockdown!!!

Ordered a solar fountain. It arrived after 6 weeks broken. No response from the company to successive requests on returning the item. Don't use this company.

Really very bad bad bad!!! I had given them so much time and understanding for the lockdown and covid crisis, but they took my money and never delivered the goods I ordered... and after several attempts at emailing and using contact forms no answer to any of my queries. Please don’t trust this company, they have literally stolen my money.

Was first alerted to this company when listening to articles on Radio 4's Consumer Programme - 'You and Yours'. Disgruntled customers described details of goods that had not turned up - despite their money being taken from their accounts and Primrose's refusal to respond to emails or requests for refunds This has been my experience too. PLEASE CONTACT THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND ALERT THEM TO THIS BUSINESS BEFORE HUNDREDS MORE CUSTOMERS ARE RIPPED OFF.

Ordered a patio set. 1 chair arrived damaged. I’ve sent various emails and Tried to contact through social media. Not 1 response other than the standard “we’ve got your email” wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Customer service should be the top of their priority. There still taking orders and taking people’s money. Wish I had never bothered after reading all of these complaints.

Ordered 2 fruit trees for my mothers birthday at end of May. Delivery started 3-5 days, but mid July still no delivery. Despite taking my money, they haven't replied to numerous email contacts and no phone number to contact them. Avoid this company. Effectively have stolen my £60+

Placed an order months ago for 7ft tall, 18ltr pots of golden bamboo. After chasing numerous times we finally got a delivery of 2 x 5ft golden bamboo and 2 x 5ft black bamboo which arrived half dead. No response to emails, cant call. Have taken money and not delivered the goods paid for. Avoid this company!
