“Love the idea of supporting artists. For my birthday, i asked for a RedBubble gift card.
Received a gift card so I signed up for a new account. They sent a new member 20% off coupon code. BUT apparently , a gift card is considered a coupon code and you can only use the gift card OR the 20% off.
I live chatted with a rep and this was the reply I got... “I do understand your concern, however we're currently looking at new ways of making your customer experience better and of course you saving money. Is there anything else I can assist you with at this time?”
I will not be purchasing from RedBubble again.”
“To anyone who thinks your working with a company that uses ethics be warned. I sent them a notice today asking why after many years of closing down my store front was it still open to the public. After many issues with there communication I decided that as an artist it's probably not going to make you any friends if you shared a link to your friends only to find out how disappointed they would end up. There were reviews on the sight saying how great the products were. I was getting 5star reviews. When I looked into them a bit more I realized that they never seemed to describe the image but gave a general description like really soft or great colours but never a word of the artists name or anything related to the actual image itself. There were hundreds next to my image. People would say they just ordered one and they would get another. If they were a reputable company thy would realize this is a manuver that can get them into big trouble as if your image and reviews are used as a way to coherse people into bying more products. Copyright rule for those who don't know if my image is used to promote people to by more products then generally you owe me for using my image to make you revenue. There for that company owns you royalties as your been used to promote themselves. Another big issue is how do you know if people are really bying your products. They say these companies are all automated but as you know when dealing with fine artist and not having any real conversations than I'm sorry for your issue how can I send you a voucher. I'm in Australia and red bubble has a storefront here so you'd think I'de pay there Aussie team to ship from one side of Australia to the other. Of course not that would be to easy. No instead I still have to pay in American dollars .And have to wait and wait. This company uses the artist to give them a profit on sub standard products. Don't write to them with your problems as they have no real empathy for your problems as trying to get them to own up to there misteaks is not even worth worrying about. If you spent thousands of dollars then they would have big issues as money from a couple of tee-shirts or even there more expensive pieces is not gonna land these guys in court. Sorry to say it but unless people take it up together as a class action against this company nothing can be done about them. Withholding revenue from artist and giving them delays and when giving them altimatums when your upset they simply discard you and give you a run around. You may have some drama with actually trying to get your images down. What you can do if you believe there is revenue being made and they don't close down your store is ring your local copyright infringement companies and they will on your behalf take action. They are paid to search world wide for crooks like this. I was told today that the Corrona virus was the reason that companies that deal with pay pal have put notice up saying that was the reason red bubble could not deal with its connection problem. That closed my account down again. Do you think it's a coincidence considering the problem I've had with them they have realized that there public image dosnt really portrait there internal affairs. Take companies like this down there a too many contributing factors that show they are leaches on unsuspecting victims who have been taken advantage of.”
“I really wish I saw these reviews before I ordered. First off- t shirt quality was cheap, thin and the sizes were small. I mean. They say slim fit but a men’s medium slim fit looks like it would fit a 10 year old. Sticker quality is below poor. They look like they were printed on somebody’s home printer and blown up. Very pixelated and the colors don’t all line up. And the combined stickers on one sheet, so you have to manually cut them out if you want to give as gifts. Seriously. I am shocked that they have the nerve to sell this junk. I might as well have taken my $50 and thrown it in the thrash. I can only imagine they just take the money for the first order and run, since I can’t imagine anybody coming back.”
“In all honesty and objectivity, the shirt I purchased looked WAY WORSE than the time I tried to print out a logo on my cheap printer and iron one on a t-shirt myself. Burned glue marks all around the graphic in the shape of the stick-on paper. And they had the nerve to just send it to me looking that way. I guess you might get lucky, but know that this is NOT a sophisticated operation with any quality control.”
“Purchased a T-Shirt from the UK with delivery to Manchester (central area). The item was dispatched on March 4 and supposed to arrive on March 9-11. Currently it's March 13 and the item has yet not arrived. All their customer support can do is tell me to wait another week. Can't believe the audacity these people have. Royal Mail 2nd Class deliveries take 2-3 days for mainland... Mine was dispatched 9 days ago and not arrived... Speaks volumes about how much they are about customers.”
“Ordered a poster and upon receiving it, it basically looked like they took a thumbnail sized design and blew it up to poster size. The entire thing was pixelated, the color was way off and any sharp lines in the design were blurred. Apparently they have no quality control. No refund was issued, but they offered a voucher which will probably just get used on another poorly printed piece.”
“DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!
I ordered a t-shirt with a graphic that was supposed to be a vivid reddish-pink. What I got was a dull, washed out color with white around the edges like a cheap print. I got ripped off! Order from Teepublic instead, their shirts are MUCH better quality.”
“The prints on all the t-shirts and tote bags look bad and as if the printer was not working properly, looked very cheap! Definitely would NOT reccommend buying these items from them.
Stickers and waterbottles prints looked acceptable.”
“I have been buying tshirts on Redbubble for years, but my two most recent experiences have been extremely disappointing . Apparently, they have really cut back on the quality of the print - all of my tshirts recently have looked a printer that was extremely low on ink ( on the "draft" setting ) .. I have enclosed a photo : the Jill Stein shirt was purchased in 2019 and the Bernie shirt just arrived ( Feb 2020 ).. This s the same design, and as you can see the older ( and washed 20+ times ) Jill Stein shirt is 100x more vivid than the new/unworn Bernie shirt … They gave me a voucher, but I have a feeling the results will be the same .. Sad, because in the beginning, Redbubble was great .. They have really cut corners, and I will be shopping elsewhere from now on ..”
“3/4 orders were printed wrong and only one of those was successfully replaced. Now they are blaming the third party printer for the error as if its not their issue. A voucher was created for only 1 of the misprinted orders. I asked for my money back because they can't honestly think I want anything else from their site. Pretty disappointed. Almost $100 down the drain.”
“Customer service is by the book. Little help. If something is wrong with your order (which I’ve had happen 3/5 orders) the site is no help and will waste your time sending you through links that will give you the same useless information that customer service is going to tell you. The quality of the products are always subpar. The selection is the only thing the site had going for it. Careful ordering too much, apparently their shipping logistics are a mess and you may never see part of your order, nor the replacement order they claim to ship after a month of wasting your time.”
“The graphic was blurry and the website is poor. No phone number???
I kept the tee shirt bc it was too much of a pain trying to navigate thru their site”
“The quality of the tee shirt was very good. The graphic design was very blurry.
Their website for customer service is brutal!
No phone number that I could find
Wouldn’t accept the photo on line”
“I ordered a poster. The poster was rolled in tissue paper and packaged in a soft cardboard box. The poster arrived creased everywhere (of course). The image was also very pixelated; basically someone took a smaller image, and just blew it up without adjusting the resolution. I can’t even get my money back. I get a voucher, which I don’t even want since it’s from a company that obviously has no quality control.”
“The quality is poor. I got a T-shirt from tanyaofmars for my child for pink shirt day in school. She sells kids Ts for quite expensive price $25 plus shipping aka the same price as adults but the quality of cotton is poor, the same cheap cotton as $8 shirt I bought in the local store..
Why is cheap sticker printed kids T (6 year old) $25? It is a rip off, She is making lots of money for cheap overpriced products.”
“I found my Father's original artwork being used on a T shirt. The "designer" did not have permission. Plagiarism seems to be an issue with some people. Not sure I blame RedBubble but that's where I found it. Avoid.”
