“It seems that some 'Gutless - Wonder' shut - out my negative review of this programme just as I was about to submit it. So here it is again; My wife must be one of many people who enjoyed the old Sewing Quarter programme where they would actually demonstrate sewing techniques. Unfortunately, the new format seems to do nothing but push jewellery! The title is therefore misleading, and should be changed. I might suggest: ' Plugging cheap & garish tat at exorbant prices in order to appease the vanity of the brainless', would be more appropriate! At least there is YouTube; for the thinking, practical woman.....long may they reign!”

“My wife must be one of many people who enjoyed the ORIGINAL Sewing Quarter, which often showed sowing techniques; as the name implies. Sadly, the new version seems to do nothing but push jewellery! The title is misleading, and therefore you should change it. The customers actually want a dedicated SOWING programme, with products of reasonable ( and not hiked) prices. Is there ANY T.V. channel that can deliver what people actually want in such crafts? Grossly dissapointing.”

“The programmes are great, but the delivery service is simply awful. Two orders placed. Both incredibly slow to arrive. Sorry Sewing Quarter but in an era of "click & collect" and "next day delivery" taking ten days or longer to deliver an order is an epic fail.”

“Christmas Calendar, I take it this was 2018 I purchased one this year double your price, what a load of tat 2 tape measures everyone already has, empty tiny tin, thimble ,cheap stitch picker three lots of needles a pen tiny scissors 2 cottons small sewing chalk bees wax, plastic bobbins do not fit machine a few paper hexagons washi tape you get free everywhere as they want to get rid of them, a couple of buttons, strawberry pin cushion missing the little fillings to sharpen needles everything everyone already has, would not recommend .Sewing Quarter should be ashamed to sell this”

“Rubbish delivery. You never know when your parcels will be delivered..Royal mail ---it out for delivery for days. I could cry with all the money I have spent.. Then they sell it for 30% off off off. I don't mind a sales but not for weeks. I have switch off.. who wants to watch a boring sales programme all day.. you have lost the plot. Ordered a kit teddy from a bear company. It arrived the next day. Far nicer than the one I have ordered from SQ. Which has yet to be delivered .”

“Ordered a mandy shaw Christmas grome kit and it still hasn't arrived yet. Its been 12 days so far and still waiting. Sewing quarter blame dandelion designs but on their website (sewing quarter) it said in stock which has to be a lie. Only ordered it from them because dandelion designs didn't have it on their website. Did phone and email them but told 10 working days, which is a long time when you include weekends. Never again!”

“Ordered two joe carter kits my fault for not checking immediately I understand that but when I did check one kit was not what I ordered and the other a lamb kit had the faux fur missing I rang SQ to check why it was missing the person I spoke to clearly didn't have a clue about their product she checked our order and said we had everything I didn't want to make a skinned lamb so ordered fur from them checking same kit on web it showed kit with faux fur also delivery is rubbish will not order from them again”

“Ordered as a new customer from Ireland and didn't get free gift. Customer service said when I contacted them of it's mistake they don't ship irl and I won't b getting gift. My work colleague previously got a gift? I use create craft normally it's way better. Any issues with orders are they will resolve immediately.”

“Feel the free gift is a ruse...never received mine, as I believe a lot of people didn't. Rang company but still not received anything. Please don't buy if you are persuaded by something FREE as you'll probably NEVER get it.”

“Program sometimes interesting to watch, especially when John presents, other presenters lack genuine meaningful enthusiasm which reflects greatly. Once an order is placed, sewing quarter or their main company immediate media it is extremely difficult to cancel, they ignore emails and even if you ring they refuse to cancel and refund. This is against consumer rights act 2015, but hey this company do exactly what they want to do as you have ticked the agree to terms and conditions box. AVOID”

“Is this programme for real? Compared to Create and Craft this is mind boggling boring. I am witnessing a presenter having a one way conversation to viewers for the last, what seems like an eternity, instead of demonstrating the product. Come on guys, have more respect for your prospective buyers!”

“Placed order for Sewing Machine didn't send order to 3rd party had to phone 3rd party myself as they said they had nothing on thier system about my order but still took the money Said it would take 2 weeks to deliver 3rd party said that was not right as they despatch next day I will not be buying from SQ again can't trust that I will get my goods”

“Very slow delivery and the freebie (Notions rotary cutter & mat) of poor quality. However, the reason I'm writing this review is that the freebies are also available to purchase. Don't bother - save your money. The rotary cutter is in essence a poor copy of the Olfa RTY-2/DX 45mm. The locking button to fix the blade position works intermittently and the overall construction is flimsy. I wouldn't trust this cutter for safety, durability or accuracy. If you are a novice buy the Olfa; dont waste your money on this you will end up replacing it.”

“What a shame that the called centre that sewing quarter use to out source the call handling is so shambolic. The presenters and the channell are amazing and cannot be faulted, but all their hard work is lost on the inadequately and badly trained staff. I am a new customer and when I made my order I was not confident then. When I called to find out what was going I asked to speak to a supervisor the person I spoke then told me my contact details that the would ring on. This individual by doing this broke the data act, this act is set in law and any company or individual not follow due diligence in this process could be prosecuted and fined. Your not going to believe this but I used to manage a call center unit and this one is not fit for purpose.”

“I bought for the first time thinking I would get lovely free fabric as seen on tv, but received old fashioned xmas fabric horrible. Plus I had to Wait ten days for order to arrive not happy.”

“They're selling fabrics that they claim are UK exclusives as in the only place you can buy them in the UK is from Sewing Quarter themselves. I just checked eBay and surprise surprise, they selling on there. They're just straight up lying.”

“Even when I have upgraded postage, DPD never deliver on day they say. Numerous excuses, even say they don’t have my complete address although they have been delivering from the start of SQ. It’s only been happening since SQ have had jewellery maker warehouse sending the parcels. Unfortunately I have today cancelled my account with them after my 4th delivery was again not delivered. Customer service unfortunately don’t care either and can get quite rude when you complain,”

“Shockingly poor customer service who have little knowledge of the items they are selling, online inventory rarely accurate, and that's when the website works. Product sold elsewhere often at much cheaper prices, ie a book priced at SQ today at £15.99 plus £2.95 standard P&P, is being sold elsewhere for £11 with free or cheaper P&P. Also, SQ's standard P&P takes up to 2 weeks to arrive and you have to pay extra if you want your purchases to arrive that same week! The free material offer didn't arrive even though it was stated on the invoice and website - so a big con there. Other haberdashery stores offer free postage when you spend a certain amount, and it normally arrives within a couple of days at most. SQ's p&p is a false economy, especially when they over charge for their products. If you buy from SQ, double check your fabric order is the correct, as mine was cut short. Gave them a chance as they are a new company, but they have let me down at each and every stage. Don't buy from this company, if you want to save yourself time, effort and money. 1 point given because system wouldnt allow me to give them zero. Worse online haberdashery/shopping channel, won't be buying from them again and strongly recommend you don't either.”

“Shocking customer service - tried to order item on line but the code was coming up as no products - I checked several times and I was entering the correct code, plus I tried several other codes and all were coming up not found. Called their customer services a little later and was told that as I hadnt kept a record of the stock number that I'd need ot call back and select the help option of the phone - called again and spoke to someone who was extremely dismissive saying 'well if they cant find it it probably wasn't loaded it should be now - then they cut me off. Shocking service i dont need the product that badly so they wont be getting my business....”
