Have now made 2 returns in May and have not received any refund - you cannot get in touch with anyone and the site takes you round in circles - you do not get anywhere - disgraceful that returns have not been refunded - will never use again

Return & Refunds won't work in the website, you try to refund and the website gets stuck so you can't get a refund. You leave bad reviews in the products you buy and the website automatically set a 5 stars reviews, doesn't matter what rating you set, it will show 5. Now I'm trying to delete my account completely and surprise, it doesn't work either. I wouldn't recommend this website at all !!

I ordered a pink dress for my birthday and was sent the wrong size. I went on the app to make sure the mistake wasn't my fault and it wasn't. I tried to get the correct size sent to me before my birthday. I had to go on Facebook in order to access the customer service chat. I was given the run around for their error. I took a picture of the dress showing the size and still they gave me the run around. In one month I spent 400.00 dollars on 3 separate orders and I get the round around for a 14.00 dress...My cousin told me to start shopping at Temu.

I made an order which came to just under £300. It arrived in 2 separate packages about a week apart which was not a problem. After going to leave a review after the 1st package arrived, I noticed that I hadn't received all of the items on that list. I did not notice this earlier when I was trying the clothes on, as I just presumed it would be included in the 2nd package which was due to arrive. After a very painful and long winded process of trying to get through to shein, I managed to get hold of a human, where I queried my missing top. After much going backwards and forwards with them saying they will investigate etc, I was finally sent this........ "Thank you so much for contacting us We sincerely apologize for the trouble that we brought you. I have now reported this to our warehouse department and rest assured that we will strengthen our product inspection. After several determinations, it shows that all of your items are complete. Please be informed that every transaction we made here at Shein is Video recorded for documentation purposes. But please don’t worry we can still process your request for now, but in the future, we suggest you to double-check the package. With this missing item sw2301131767179408" I asked to be given this so called video evidence as I would like to see how they came to the conclusion that my whole order was packed and sent to me. Still waiting to hear and I very much doubt that I will as I am 100% certain I did not receive the missing top! I dont understand why they say to check the package in future. They don't believe you anyway and clearly their "video footage " is very unreliable.....that's if it actually exists! As far as processing my request goes, they havnt confirmed as to wether I will be getting a replacement or a refund. Totally useless, I have always been a loyal customer, but I won't be shopping from them anymore. Customer service is beyond ridiculous

Sent a dress back on 13th June 2023 but 5 weeks on, I still have not received a refund. Dress was returned immediately after receiving the parcel. Beware! They take your money quick enough but trying to get it a refund back is horrendous!

Hello, I am sorry in advance to write this review. I loved most of the products which I had ordered and there was quick replacement for a damaged item as well. But unfortunately there were 4 items from one of my order, which I had to return. The logistics / courier service people are pathetic. It's 6 days now since the day when I have requested the return process. But because the logistics / courier service did not pick the order up I tried to contact the She in customer service so that they can help me to resolve the issue. It is very sad to say that even after explaining the complete situation, the customer service says that I need to contact the logistics / courier service to schedule the pick up. Unfortunately, as they are not helping me, I contacted you guys. you were the people who assigned that particular service. So, you should be helping me out and not leaving me on my own. This is very pathetic. I need people to reach me out form your team who can resolve the issue for me.

I wish I could leave no stars. Shein scammed me out of money for an item I paid for and never received. Refused to send me missing item in the mail ( which is obviously, highly illegal and known as retail theft.) If you look at the lowest reviews on here and on similar websites, many people had the same issue and many others had never received their whole order whatsoever. I will definitely being posting this comment on other review websites for Shein. Don't appreciate getting scammed out of money that I work hard for, and I'm pretty sure the hundreds of other people who wrote similar reviews about missing items/orders didn't either.

Returned a few items in March. Now it’s nearly July and still haven’t received a refund. It takes ages to contact them (online customer service, but not live, and they don’t give out emails for complaints department whatsoever) and they keep sending the same formal messages, like “the refund is successful on our end” or “please wait 24-48 hours” and nothing ever happens. It’s an absolute joke, letting alone the poor quality of their clothes. Been begging for an 80 euros refund for over 3 months and getting the same dumb answers. Would never buy again. NEVER

I have always believed in the old saying, "You get what you pay for," but with Shein, you may not even get that much. I have had several disappointing experiences with the brand and, while I initially wrote them off as isolated incidents, a pattern has become clear. Let's start with the clothes. The quality is often subpar, if not downright poor. Fabrics feel thin and cheap, they fray after only a few wears, and the fits are inconsistent at best. My first order included a range of sizes, expecting some differences, but what I received was almost comical in its inconsistency. A 'Medium' in one style could have been a 'Large' in another, and an 'Extra Small' in yet another. Moreover, Shein’s photography and descriptions are deceptive. I've bought items that looked stunning online only to be let down when I saw them in person. The colors, fabric quality, and detailing are often quite different from the images you see on the site. I've had several instances of receiving items that bore little resemblance to their online counterparts, with colors and patterns that are less vibrant and fabric quality that’s nothing short of disappointing. Customer service is another issue. My attempts to rectify situations have often been met with sluggish responses and complex return policies. While the site touts easy returns, in reality, the process is anything but smooth. On more than one occasion, I have been left feeling frustrated and unheard, which is unacceptable from any consumer standpoint. Lastly, I have major concerns about Shein's fast-fashion business model. It's not just about receiving low-quality items; it's also about what the business represents. Fast fashion has significant negative impacts on the environment and often exploits workers in low-wage countries. It's clear that Shein's affordability comes at a cost that's borne by our environment and people who make the clothes. In conclusion, Shein may be suitable for some one-time wear or disposable fashion options, but if you're seeking quality, reliable sizing, responsible manufacturing, and customer service that values your time and money, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I, for one, will no longer be giving my business to Shein, and I would urge others to consider the real cost of fast, cheap fashion.

Ordered 7 items 6 WEEKS AGO, MAY 14, SUPPOSEDLY SHIPPED ON MAY 25. IT IS NOW JUNE 25 AND ORDER STILL SHOWS "IN TRANSIT". ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO CANCEL, REFUND OR COMMUNICATE WITH SHEIN. NEVER ORDERING WITH SHEIN AGAIN.

If you received the items, then no need to complain. But if you don't receive your items like me n it's damaged in transit, it's impossible to get hold of customer service as it's non existence! They don't refund and don't replace. They rob your money. It was my first order and definitely last. Stay away from the company. It's cheap products to attract you but if you have problems, you will never get hold of them. There is only a robot chat online which goes around in circles and you never get the problem resolved. So frustrating and disappointing. My goods were damaged in transit. Evri tells me to contact Shein directly.....but how?!? AVOID this company.

Still waiting for my order from last year. I did receive a necklace to apologise for the delay and will send asap. However still waiting until then will not be using again or promoting to friends. Feeling robbed.

BUYER BEWARE, didnt get 90% of what I ordered and they claim parcel is the same weight as order. Customer service (or lack or service) is non existent, can only reach them on paypal, where they go around in circles trying to avoid the matter and will blame the customer. I am left without my complete order and I PAID FOR IT. AVOID Note: Matter not resolved and tried to blame courier, parcel was 100% sealed and untampered with. SHEIN dont bother replying to this review, I give up on your stupid customer service , thats why I’m leaving bad reviews everywhere

Crooks - Beware of sneaky non-refundable handling fees Shein advertise free shipping & returns but added a £29 non-refundable “handling fee” to my order because it was more than £160. They’re extremely deceptive and underhanded. Call it what it is, a £29 shipping fee and I never would have placed the order. But instead, they added it on at the very last stage of checkout hoping that customers won’t notice - which I didn’t, and then won’t refund. Total crooks, didn’t keep a single item because the quality of their clothing is awful. Would advise anyone considering their first order to avoid, they are awful.

Order many times before and not had problems before but my experience this time means won’t order again. Recent order had missing items (it was only sent as one parcel so I’m not waiting on a second package). Parcel wasn’t damaged so it means they were never packed. Contacted SHEIN about this (difficult process but managed) and they messaged back saying there was no missing items. They have basically told me I’m lying and I am now talking to my bank to sort a refund.

Will NOT recommend this website at all! Ordered first time on this crappy website and unfortunately will be the last; i ordered 22 products on the 27th of April for my mommabear's birthday which is today; the 12th of May and has not received any of them!! According to the tracking, it has arrived in the country since the 3rd of May and was supposed to receive them by the 8th of May but in vain!!! F Nothing! When i contacted them, they told me perhaps i have to pay tax that's why it's not coming BUT HOW WILL I KNOW if nobody contacted me to pay for it? Or it hasn't been mentioned anywhere by the tracking. How will i know how much i have to pay and where to pay???? Without mentioning that's a long time from the 3rd of May till today; 12th of May!! Very POOR service!!! Don't rely on their stupid date or tracking for getting your delivery on time!!

Customer service non existent. No replies to emails asking for return instructions so I am stuck with cheap shoddy goods. My order doesn’t show in my account details so can’t get returns label. Don’t go near Shein with a bargepole.

My shein order had not been delivered in the promised timeframe and there was no tracking update. On 5 May I got in touch with them - live chat is the only option - and it's slow and cumbersome. Instead of taking 2 minutes to send an email, you have to spend ages on a live chat with someone who has zero interest in helping. The person on the live chat promised to raise the matter with the courier, and also asked me to wait until 8 May as the order should still be delivered. I tried to explain to the person (their name is Jek) that Evri doesn't deliver on Sundays and bank holidays, but the agent used canned responses. Obviously a waste of my time. So I thought I'd reach out on Monday (8 May, bank holiday) as nothing could be delivered by then anyway. When I contacted them on 8 May, I had to live chat with someone named Sam who used similar canned responses. Sam said they would raise this matter with the courier now and this would take 7 days. I asked why this wouild take another 7 days from now, considering I had been in touch 3 days ago already. Sam said they had no record of any previous chat. This is, of course, very worrying. Poor customer service and poor record-keeping. Where would the last chat have gone? Does Shein not have systems in place to ensure that live chats are allocated to the right orders and accounts? Or can their agents delete live chats or manipulate them in a way that they're not saved in the right customer account? How is this possible considering that you have to log into your account first and then select the order you're enquiring about before you can even start a chat? When Sam suggested that I may have reached out via another account, I wasn't impressed. I have one account with Shein, and I only placed 1 order. Why would Sam assume that I logged in with email address X to see an order placed with email address Y? Does Sam just have no common sense at all or is Shein not protecting the details of their customers at all if they think that you can log in with one email address and access order details from an account belonging to a different email address? I have no doubt that this won't end well and that I will have to ask for a refund in a week from now. This was my first and last order from Shein. At least this time I have taken a screenshot of some of the conversation with Sam. So if Sam, just like Jek, does nothing despite promising to escalate the matter to the logistics team and if Sam, just like Jek, deletes the chat (which is rather shameful if this is possible and if Shein have no internal systems and controls in place to prevent this), I still have a piece of evidence of the live chat from today. All in all, I do regret ever looking at Shein's website. I thought they were a bit shady anyway, and I'm glad I didn't enter my card details - I thought, you know what, let me pay by PayPal, just in case. And I'm glad I paid by PayPal! Because of Shein's either poor-record keeping or their staff manipulating records (it has to be either of the 2) I've changed my PayPal login since. And fortunately, the phone number linked to my PayPal is not the same phone number I used on the order. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend Shein at all. If you must try your luck with them, use a payment method that allows you to change your login details, back-up phone number quickly and easily. Also, make sure you have a throwaway email address for Shein. I'm glad I gave them a random email address I use for newsletters and nothing important.
