The Delivery came to deliver my items but then he had to go back because he forgot one of my items.then My delivery was postponed tomorrow and reason was that I wasn't available to accept the delivery.

I placed an order through Takealot on 5 March 2020 for the wireless Romoss 10W QI selling at R369, however the order was canceled on 12 March 2020 claiming there was "no stock". However the same item was selling yesterday (12 March 2020) for R509 and today (13 March 2020) for R487. How is this possible? This is extremely shady on your part! This is extremely dishonorable from your side.

Shocking misleading information from Takealot My new Hisense guaranteed for 4 years has been diagnosed as faulty by the Hisense engineer - which process took months to get the report! Then they told me to get it collected by Takealot who had told me they would replace it as advised by Hisense, and now they are telling it it will take up to 3 weeks to get a replacement! I want a refund and then I can start over again but I am getting major hassles with them. Pathetic customer handling after I was a told twice that it would be sorted out in a few days.

Returned the product same day as it was not what I saw on the website. They promised to collect next day. I have been waiting for more than a week with no clear updates. They are famous for dirty tricks

Delivery services not innovative, the sms for delivering before 5pm does not work. My day cannot stop because I ordered something, allow customers to make personal arrangements for deliveries. We have technology, let's use it. Also poor service from some of your delivery staff, terrible attitude.

I had a friend buy me a voucher and it took like 2 weeks for different people to tell me different things about why it wasn’t working. It still ended up not working because we had followed all their dumb instructions. Such a long, painful and frustrating process. I was really let down by Takealot and how unseriously they obviously took my issues.

I ordered about 70 kgs of dog food. The next day I went back on the app and saw my order was cancelled, apparently, they ran out of stock? what a joke and a lie, the lady I spoke to said they had no stock yet when I ordered. no one sent an email to say that the stock was finished. when I phoned again just to see if they had stocked the next lady said there was but with a hefty price. so i am assuming take lot made a price error lied and said they ran out of stock and didn't want to sell it at the price advertised! horrible experience. ill be using pet haven from now on

I am really so upset with takelot. I am a student, and my order for my books was placed by takelot. I am supposed to receive 14 books and only received three. The email I received states " One of the items in your order was not available at our warehouse and although your order was placed, we were waiting for it to arrive." Yet I only received 3 books, still waiting on the rest (11), and I'm now behind because I cannot complete my assignments without my books. I'm not even getting any response on my emails. Totally disgusted in the service!

Wow... unbelievable! I placed an order yesterday and received my package today, even though it was estimated to be delivered after 2 days. I'm impressed 😊 Keep up the good service.

Three individual days have said they would be delivering FNB Credit Card - Three individual days - no show and then we get another phone call "we would like reschedule" - BTW a reschedule is before the event - not after - useless

Takealot has a 21 day promise on returns, the promise is that if the item is not fixed/repaired within 21 days, they will credit/replace your item. 23 days have passed, but I have not received my refund as per they 21 day "promise". Now they are throwing bureaucratic reasoning my side. Don't trust their 21 day promise.

Very much pleased as a this is my first time, surely not my last using takealot. Product arrived on time, hours earlier actually. Satisfied with packaging, communication and delivery!

I have used Takealot a number of times, and no hassles, but recently bought a printer for my business, knowing that my contract expired and having a 3 to 5 day deliver, would work out fine. Unfortunately the 3 to 5 day delivery turned to 16 days with different commitments from Takealot every day that delivery will be same day still nothing. I did not buy from the deliver company but from Takealot, they should sort this,In the meantime ,my contract printer was collected and since the 4th February I have no printer and this is resulting in the work load piling.

I bought IFRS Standard from take alot according to their online advert they said it includes conceptual framework but on the real package is not included, I'm very disappointed

I've been using Takealot for sometime now and never acquired any problems until today. i ordered a screen protect, removed the one I had, only to find they sent a cracked screen protector. I cant use my phone without one, I had to put that cracked one but I am very disappointed.

My main complaint is with takealot or the company that sold me my tv. I bought it in November and only opened it in January. When I opened it I didn't know it came with component cables as it doesn't state that on the manual. I used it for three days and the tv started malfunctioning. I claimed it for return and takealot picked it up however due to the component cable adapter missing I was informed I couldn't get the refund until I replaced it. Which by itself is bad however it makes matter worse when takealot agent just gives me the samsung phone number (whom I didn't buy the product from) to find out which component cable adapter it comes from (by the way the take a lot gave me the wrong name of the missing part which they called was "slim gender cable") Samsung then told me they don't input cable models they sell with the tv and take a lot should open a box and see the cable with their other tv with the same model. I asked take alot for a picture and model number and they referred me to samsung again. Now I can't get a refund because I don't know which adapters I need to buy to replace the one I never received. Take a lot messaged me saying because I didn't report the missing pieces how within 7 days its invalid. If nothing on the manual states what it comes with and I didn't receive the pieces what am I suppose to replace it with if take a lot can't even help me to take a pic of the missing component im supposed to replace!!! To make matter even worse is that a samsung agent told me usually a direct samsung distributors won't try to help me because they don't like take a lot selling instead of samsung distributors!!!

I would like to take some time out to complement takealot for their outstanding service. Everything is so easy and convenient no troubles. Sure with the delivery their was some miscommunication but nothing really to complain about. Some of the bad reviews are just ridiculous on this page, delivery being an hour late I cant remember receiving a text with an exact time commitment always within a period of the day. If you not happy with the product you bought, you lazy, make sure you know what you buying. If it was damaged, they will replace it, only make sense.
