Bad courier service. i still haven't received my parcel and am not able to track it because it says the parcel was delivered and it was not delivered. the urgent now says i will get it after 4 days, how possible is that if you have overnight courier services?

I would highly recommend rather making a purchase at Makro than takealot. They have failed in serving the customer and have taken the supplies word over the customer. Do not buy any electronic devices from them. I warn you as a takealot customer. Do not waste your money. You are not protected. They only protect their suppliers.

Disgusting service!!! I have been a customer for so long and now I have a problem with a short delivery and they are just not interested!!! 20 emails lata just wasting my time !!! Is this what happens when u become too big ??? U throw your customers away ??? Remember we make u big. I am very unhappy at the way I have been treated !!!

Bought headphones from them last year, when they became faulty, they were replaced in less than a week. I would recommend them 100%. I shop with them frequently and their deliveries are never late.

I bought a vinyl record from Takealot and returned it no less than 4 (yes, four!) times as the outer packaging/covers were damaged. What I found was that they only have 2 items in stock, both defective, which they kept trying to sell as "New". Every time I returned the item I notified them of the damage, and with the last 2 returns I told them that I have actually received that exact same damaged copy before, yet they did nothing about it and kept sending me the defective products. This means: - They do not read customer commentary when you return an item - They knowingly sell defective products as "New" - They are obviously a highly unethical business If you can find it somewhere else, do not buy it from Takealot - their average review score on this website is this low for a reason. And they do not even bother replying to customer complaints which should tell you all you need to know.

You should have a relook at your delivery company. Listening is a skill. Secondly you cannot cancel orders without the customers permission

Made my order on 18 July and I was told I'd get it on the 23rd of July, my delivery didn't arrive they postponed every single day after that... They always reschedule... They aren't informative... The always make excuses... Their service is bad... I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone...

I placed an order on the 12th July and received sms notification that it would be delivered on the 17th July,never received the parcel only to find out through their tracker that my parcel has been delivered. When I emailed them the Fast n furious contacted me to confirm that my parcel was in fact delivered . Later the delivery guy informed that he delivered the parcel at the wrong address and the contents of the parcel have already been used. I've emailed Takealot several times in the last few days and I got no response or update about my order and when to receive it or the refund. I'm disappointed with their appalling service and together with Fast n furious.

I used to sing praises about takealot I am very cross with them now. My order made on the 14th of June never arrived apparently their courier service in East London failed them and returned the parcel back. Guess what after contacting takealot several times with my airtime I was credited the money expected to buy again in July and guess what I have to also pay R20 more than the one I ordered same products and have to wait till August to receive those items.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! A few weeks ago I ordered Sophie Moda computer glasses off their app. I selected the gradient pink which I liked the most. Two weeks later I got confirmation that my glasses have arrived at the Brackenfell pick up point and I can collect. Instead of the gradient pink glasses there were a light pink glasses in the package with the gradient pink sticker on. NOT WHAT I ORDERED! I immediately logged a replacement and requested that it be replaced with the gradient pink that I selected. I got an email from Oscar saying that they no longer have stock of the item. I then requested that it be replaced with the floral glasses which I also liked and Olivia Stanford confirmed that this can be done. Two days later I get an email from Yaseen Arendse confirming that they cannot do the replacement and will have to credit me I then phoned their call center and spoke to Thobela Nkwali who confirmed that she will log the request for the replacement with the floral glasses because Olivia made this promise even though it was not their policy and will ask that they speed up the delivery since I waited two weeks just for the wrong glasses woth no phone call from the takealot team to confirm if they can replace my order with something else. After this phone call I got an email again from Yaseen Arendse confirming that they will process the replacement as soon as the returned item arrives at their depot. Yesterday I received an email that my account has been credited which essentially means I now have to order the item again, and wait another two weeks for the glasses. It will be 5 weeks then from the initial time I ordered. PATHETIC SERVICE And they clearly don’t know what’s going on or communicate properly internally as they are constantly giving conflicting responses.

Hey sorry for saying this but I went for a job interview and this is the 8th time I'm here they not very organised to be honest it's a up and down I'm wasting so much petrol and all they saying is we sorry and come back tomorrow wtf

I have been ordering items from takealot for many years. Every item I received was in perfect condition and I received it at the dates indicated by takealot team. I will continue ordering from takealot in the feature. Highly recommended. I just wish I could review each item I received to submit and show my appreciation.

Takealot your employees are dishonest and your service is shocking. My order has been delayed. What should have take 2 days as per your IVR is now cancelled? How rediculous! We are still waiting as per Mr Fareez April said we will get it (we called this morning at 8:22am. Now our order is cancelled? We do not want our f#### order cancelled. There is medical equipment and specials ontop of all the rest that should have been delivered last week that is needed at my address. Make a plan, get a manager to call me like i requested more than once. Show some respect. Your delay has now caused me to suffer. I have asked for a manager to call me more than once. I expect this for that to be honored at least?! Call me as requested. Subject of request : Fareez April (Takealot.com)
