If I could leave zero starts I would, I sold my item on July 25, they got it on Jul 31, shipped it and payment on the website says it was transferred, never got it. They told me that there was an error in my account number for my payment, I did not make this error it was them and they tried to blame me for it. Still no payment, I have contacted them several times and I have spoken to over 10 agents and one over the phone, yet nothing. I have messaged them through Instagram, they ignore me what kind of service is this? this is a huge scam and will be getting a letter from my lawyer suing them.

TERRIBLE SERVICE FOR SELLERS I don’t think Vestiaire cares about sellers. I sold a balenciaga bag in perfect condition for a great price. I then got an email stating that although my bag was in perfect condition it was marked non compliant because there was no invoice. However the bag was not advertised with an invoice. So I am shocked that my bag was made non compliant given this is the only reason an otherwise perfect bag has been refused. Furthermore, Vestiaire could have easily contacted me to verify the invoice issue rather than offer the buyer the chance to cancel the sale. If I had been contacted I could have explained why there was no invoice and perhaps offered to email a copy for the buyer. This is a terrible reason for refusing my sale and I am extremely disappointed with the service. Furthermore, no one updated me to tell me that the buyer had refused the item. I had to contact Vestiaire for this update. When I complained they agreed that the bag should not have been refused as it was sold as advertised. I can only assume that Vestiaire did not want to sell my item. This is not the first problem I have had selling with Vestiaire. They cancelled another sale because the bag had python leather (without making clear I can’t sell python online) and then returned it to the wrong address! When I finally got it back it was squashed into a small box with poor packaging and the handles were squashed. Customer service is slow and terrible - You have to use their chat function and you cannot have a conversation with a real person. There is no record trail as you can’t email. They do this to protect themselves against their poor service. Make sure you take screen shots of your chats or you will have no evidence of their poor and contradictory service. Personally, I have had so many issues selling with Vestiaire I cannot trust them to sell on my behalf anymore. Plus they charge a fortune in commission for a terrible service. I do not recommend at all.

Purchased a 1000 item from the Erika Jayne collection. Paid for four weeks ago, I notified company it had not shipped, they stated they will not ship to a post office (but accepted the order direct shipping to the post office and nowhere on the website does it say they don’t), and are refusing to refund my purchase. Customer service has been contacted seven times. After holding the order without even notifying me they don’t ship to P.O. Boxes, I have no product, and they won’t return funds nor will they ship the product. Will never order from them again. And apparently I’m out 1000 bucks or will have to file against the company. All potential customers, beware of this shady company.

This company goes from strength to strength, in their appalling customer service and organisation! I can only assume their success is based on 9 million people globally being as desperate as me to line their wardrobe in designer clothing at cost price. Too many mistakes have now occurred with these people, and on each occasion I have had to open a PayPal dispute against them. The latest- I bought two expensive maison Mitchel hats from the site in May. In June I decided to resell them back on VC- only to be informed that the sale had been cancelled as the hats were deemed counterfeit. Hi he same two hats they sold me the month before! It then took me some time to eventually get the hats sent back to me, for which I had to pay the postage, and now I'm in the process of reporting them to PayPal. No apology from VC, no investigation from them. This tells me that it's now time to close my account with them, and find an alternative source for the designer bargain!

I made 2 purchases from the app both of which were never sent and canceled by VC. Their FAQs state that refunds by PayPal will be processed in 24 hours. Well, it's been 24 hours and no refund. I contacted them by chat and the agent stated that it can actually take up to 5 days. Stay away from this business unless you like lending them your money for 20 days interest free.

DO NOT BUY. THEY STEAL FROM YOU AND NEVER REFUND. Still waiting for an order placed in June and they refuse to refund me telling me to wait for another 2,5 months. I ordered a Zimmermann dress placed on June 8th paying 238 euros + 13 euros shipping cost from France to Greece. Instead of sending it by a fast, tracked mailing service such as UPS, DHL or anything else, then sent it using the old, traditional post office!!!!! The package is lost since then and they do not give me my money back!! To the question how do you send a 238 dress by post office charging me 13 euros as shipping cost, their response was: we only send orders of more than 1500 euros by fast, tracked mailing service such as courier company (when every other e-shop send orders of much less money by normal courier companies). Almost 2 months later, Vestiaire Collective responds every 3 emails, refuses to cancel the delivery and refund me giving me the 251 euros that they stole from me!! They were telling me to wait for 30 days after the first claim took place, in order to get an answer from the transporter. On the 30th day they told me that I should probably wait for up to 2,5 months in order to receive the order. THEY ARE RIDICULUS. DON’T EVEN BOTHER BUYING FROM THEM. They steal your money and ignore you. I am struggling to take my money back. Do yourselves a favor and do not order anything.

Just double think 🤔 before you decide to order anything from VC !!! I bought Marc Jacobs trainers over a week ago The description said very good condition Don’t really know what person authorized them was doing becouse there is a big mark about 4 cm 😡😡 I spent nearly 100 pounds for default shoes 👞 make sure if you wont waste your money !!

Bought hermas sandals back in June the description said it comes with dustbag and box when the sandals arrived without the box and dustbag I tried to contact Versitial collective three times but no reply I paid fee for checking the item Staff in VC come cross rude

The bag that I bought - which before buying it I did research and looked through all the photos that the seller had provided. - Because I wasn’t happy with how the pictures where taken I wrote to the seller asking if the bag had any defaults or stains since nothing was listed in the description. She answered that NO, the bag had no stains and that it was in great condition. I finally decided to buy the bag and PAYED for the authentication and quality control in which they told me that the bag had a small stain in the interior and deducted some of the price. So a week later I get my bag and HALF of the leather of the 350€ Bag that I payed was another colour. It’s been a MONTH since I am trying to get my money back since the bag did not fit either the description OR the condition requirements and that HUGE default was not specified by the quality control team. They just said that I can’t be refunded because “you could see the default in the pictures” which isn’t true. If you want a trustworthy place to buy go to The Real Real their team is competent.

I have sold items 2 monts ago and VC still hasnt paid me and seems to have no intention to do so!! I could have kept the items for me but now I have lost it for NO money. Absolutely fraudulent to take clients money!! I am horrified by such behaviour. Of course there customer who is the worst one keeps telling you to be patient and that your situation will be dealt with but it's only copy/paste messages and no one helps you. It's a scam! This platform is TO BE AVOIDED!!!

Vestiaire Collective's AUTHENTICATION AND VERIFICATION program is just a fiction! They do absolutely nothing! It's just a way to get extra money from the buyers! As a DSQUARED2 expert with 15 years experience I've counted a lot of fakes selling on their platform. They don't even have a report or contact button on the items page. It seems that they don't care about the reputation but think only about a profit.

I had sold a beautiful vintage Hermès scarf for $170. While listing the item, I was asked where I would be shipping from. I listed the item as being sold from South Korea. I'm an American expat and my account has my American bank information but I don't currently live in the States. This caused Vestaire to issue me a shipping label shipping from America despite asking where I was shipping from. They could not reissue a different label and stated that I could either ship the item to them at my own cost or change my bank information to a korean bank and re-list the item- losing out on a seller. I had to cancel the sale. I love the idea of Vestaire but it has so many flaws imbedded in their system, and customer service representatives are incredibly incompetent and not properly trained. Just today, I asked how one can comment on a person's wishlist. The rep said that not possible only in item comments can you leave a message. Umm, I received a comment on my wishlist from another seller on my wishlist and wanted to learn how to do that myself, which is why I contacted them. They don't even know the company they work for or what sellers and buyers can do on their site. Its ridiculous.

Not very professional company. Many times received a good which was verified by the team of Vestiaire but was either damaged or in bad state and they would still charge you 9€ and put a tag that the article is ‘ in a very good state’. Just a bunch of lazy french workers who try to profit easily.

They thought my bag was a fake one, so they mailed it back in a random tiny box without any protection(I paid for the shipping). When I opened it, all I saw was my crushed bag.

FRAUDSTERS! They cancelled my order, saying the item is not available (fair enough, it happens). YET A MONTH LATER THEY TRY TO TAKE MONEY AGAIN from my card after issuing a refund.

Missing momey for my sold items. This happen for the 3 th time in a row. The missing money from the item i ve sold it happend again 10153281  got sold for 1092 and i should receive 819  but i receive 807 2 item 10649438 got sold dor 610 i should receive 457 but i ve got 446 instead This thing happen for the 3 time in a row. Pls help or i will stop  selling items on this website. My acc is in£ and i ve listed my items in £ also.  Maybe tomorrow i will sell something else and i ll notice missin 300£ . Pls help as o have no answer from my first complain.

Terrible app and customer support. Inflexible and requires lots of effort to list an item. Spent so much time listing and listing got rejected because it "doesn't match" their ridiculous requirements. They decide the "suggested price" even when they have no clue of the product. Customer support is never online and when online does not have direct back-end access to your account status. Everything is not linked. You have to manually provide reference number. OVERALL THE WORST RESELLING APP USED EVER

I just received my first purchase on this site and was very pleased! It is a beautiful Missoni dress which looks practically new and arrived timely (considering it traveled from France to Italy and then to me in Florida!) I was very surprised to read the negative reviews on this site. Hopefully they will not let me down on my next purchase!
