I sold a brand new leather jacket Each x Other, it had the shop tag with the price on the sleeve and the designer tag with the tiny little safety pin fastened to the branding tag. 1st of all it was sent by UPS, tracking shows it arrived around 2PM and was signed for, however they claimed it was received around 6PM, then today they claim the designer tag is missing, it wasn't missing when I sent it, I packaged securely and even added tissue paper, I assume they are not careful with the items when unpacking and lost it somehow as in the pictures it is present and it is impossible to wear the item as the shop tag was still on the sleeves and in a closed parcel, it might be possible that the little safety pin opens but the label would still be in the parcel. Apparently they are now "negotiating" a lower price - I am absolutely not pleased about them handling a jacket that cost me £1000 and I sold for £180 so carelessly. So once their negotiation is done, they will sell it even cheaper or send it back to me - without the TAG! (screen shot added) The other item that I sold, Fendi leather sandals, buyer asked me to send later as she won't be home for a while, did so but that was sent with their budget delivery service (Hermes in the UK) because I sold it for under £150, I got the receipt for dropping it off on the February the 15th, today is February the 17th and it still has not been picked up from the drop off shop, the last time this happened the item was lost and it took months and months of them asking to investigate, I had to send scans of a driver's license and utility bills all for them to investigate despite the fact that the tracking showed I had handed it in and it was accepted but then disappeared within the delivery system somehow... I was paid MONTHS later finally after sending countless emails and getting automated replies. I also added a screen shot of the item apparently still being at the drop off shop and receipt of me handing it to the drop off shop. Add to it the countless cases of fraud, their totally non-existant customer service, the fact that buyers often use direct shipping and then switch items and send worthless items back, now Vestiaire damaging items, using unreliable delivery services (the cheapest they can get away with while charging premium), they lie about having dropped their commission, that is only true for very low value items, anything remotely designer that you don't want to sell for peanuts they have raised their prices, I honestly think giving it to charity is a better option than making a company rich that doesn't care about what happens to your items.

Vestiaire is a fraud. I never got my Dior necklace that I paid 500 euros for because customs said that they need to verify if it’s costume or real jewellery. I let Vestiaire know - I must’ve exchange 100 emails with them and they kept reassuring me that they are working on it but each time I would have to be the one to question what had happened and each time the representative would change. End result - never got the necklace, never got a refund. Never ever buying from Vestiaire again and would not recommend anyone else to either

Do not use Vestiaire Collective under any circumstances. I listed a coat on the platform in December 2021 which was sold at the start of 2022 after accepting a price offer a buyer sent. I posted the coat out the next day and the day it arrived the buyer flagged an issue with the coat. I started to panic the buyer had damaged it so they can send it back then the next day Vestiaire confirmed they'd cancelled the order as the item didn't match the description. I requested full information on what the buyer claimed and said how worried I was on the state I'd get my coat back. They came back showing me the photos the buyer sent in and it was of a yellow dress! The buyer claimed I sent a New Look/Asos dress instead of the coat so I go into full panic as I realise the buyer is in fact stealing my coat. A few days later I receive the dress through the post, my £395 coat nowhere to be seen and stolen by the buyer. I go un-paid as the order was cancelled due to it not matching the description... Vestiaire have spent over a month and a half 'investigating' providing copy and pasted responses to the emails I've spent hours writing and collating photo evidence to prove what's happened. They've given me absolutely no re-assurance I will be paid and it seems the buyer is free to go on stealing from others. I hope nobody ever has to go through this experience, it has been upsetting and never-ending.

Terrible company They are legit selling fakes out of official account My friend bought fake supreme hoodie here Returned it and next day it was listed on official vestiaire account lol Besides when selling all you get is people sending lowballs and flaking when you accept Grailed Is better in every way imaginable

I have been warned about this website by a few friends who had extremely bad experiences, but I thought I’d give them a chance. They are slow in responding to confirm authentication and now police what people sells on the website but quick in deleting comments or private negotiations - which rightly so belongs to the seller. They are making tons of money for little investment of care and time to buyers, and I’m appalled and disgusted by their cunning behaviors all to benefit them; NOT the buyers or sellers. I wouldn’t recommend this platform to anyone buying around the globe. They are better platforms and I should have listened to my friends who have warned me about their awful customer service and extremely unfriendly manner of doing business. I see why now, based on where they are based.

They ruined my valuable Chanel earrings. They declined the item “because of a broken clasp”. Returned the item to me in shambles. It was in great condition when I sent it out. Customer service is unreachable. I am baffled. DO NOT SELL with them.

I bought a Moncler jacket for £500 pictures showed it looked as said perfect. Vestiaire examined the coat and sent it on to me. It was covered in stains and the whole side seam was open. When I contacted them a stroppy woman said it’s been checked by us and that it. After 3 weeks fighting with them and doing a PayPal dispute they eventually gave me a return label to return. I bought of these in the very beginning and they were good. But found if you post direct not pay extra to Vestiaire to examine you often get sent rubbish. I don’t no longer use as I live in the uk and customs fees are rip off now. I looked at buying an item for £100 and they want to charge £50 customs and £15 checking fee and £10 shipping so no I now avoid.

I placed multiple orders, of those orders all of them had issues: 1) Not as described - seller said that the shoes were brand new unworn, when they arrived they had clearly been worn and had gold pen written on the sole. VC suggested that these should be reposted to their site with the original description and photos. Which in my opinion is disgusting. Then another person will have my issue! I centrally after threatening trading standards I was offered the option to send them back, but only if I was able to print a returns label they provided (which thus far I have been unable to do, they gave me 3 days to sort this! WHO HAS A PRINTER AT HOME IN 2022 and also, we’re in a global pandemic. Utterly disgraceful. 2) Item never arrived - I purchased a top that just never arrived. VC asked me to write a handwritten statement and a copy of my passport just to be able to investigate?! I spoke to a lawyer who told me explicitly not to send my passport via email and they shouldn’t be asking for this information. But I was told without a copy of my passport they couldn’t help, evenetslly I had no other option than to send a redacted version of the passport, I’m waiting for them to tell me this isn’t acceptable and to require my passport details. The whole thing seems very fraudulent. I have reported them to the relevant authorities and to my card issuer in the hope they can get this sorted, if not I will be out of pocket hinders of pounds. I am beyond disgusted with this company and if I could give less than 1 star I would. If I can save just one person the stress and anxiety of shopping at Vestiaire Collective by writing this review then it will be enough. I cannot stress enough. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

As previous reviews- this platform is so easy to use to commit fraud and they need to fix this immediately! The option to directly send items should not be available as it is so easy to manipulate. I sold an Hermes wallet and had to send it directly to the „Buyer“. However once he received the wallet he simply said that it is not as described and VC simply cancelled the purchase. However i have never received my wallet back!!! And VC didnt even reply to my messages! I will never use this platform again and I would not recommend using this platform to anyone.

I purchased a bag, they took my money, canceled my order without mine or sellers consent. Told me they made a mistake and they already refunded me. I never received a refund, and the amount that they said they would refund was less then what I paid!!! SCAM

Bought from Vestiaire. Ref: 16659007 Moncler Sunglasses These glasses are still available. Please read sellers reason for not selling them to me below...This is not acceptable. When your sellers agree to a sale. Then they should honour that sale. I am not interested in your voucher of £15 off if I spend a £100. I want this seller to be held accountable for withdrawing this sale after they had accepted price. They want more money for item...... If you allow this behaviour by sellers on your site, then I will make sure others know this. Hi, my sincere apologies. I thought I wrote back to you! I won’t be able to send them anymore. After reviewing the prices, I’ve realised I’ve sold them for much less of the market value. I am really sorry about this, I know you would be super disappointed. I will cancel the sale.

I have not gotten my refund even tho over 2 weeks has passed since the refund was said to be made. I bought a bag that the seller never sent. They have told me so many times my money will by in my account in five days, in two days, today and so on. Everyone tells me different. The customer service is extremly bad. I wrote to them yesterday again and they said my money would come by today. But today I got an email that it will be five more days. Would not surprise me if thats not true also.

I sold an item which they claimed 'did not meet brand guidelines'. I shared a copy of the receipt and they apologised and said they would get back to me. Again, I was told it 'did not meet brand guidelines' and was asked to pay to return the item. My last email has gone completely ignored, and now I have received an email accusing me of selling fakes. Well, that's pretty funny, as the item I'm selling was bought FROM Vestiaire Collective and authenticated BY THEM!!!

Really bad company to deal with, no customer service at all, no one to deal with enquiries, fact is that the have your goods and your money, if something goes wrong there is no one available to help. Have requested time and time again a call from a manager, never receive a response. Shame on You Vestiaire Collective

After a cancelled sale, they keep my item and never give me back. They just don't know where is it, for 3 months the costumer service just don't give me any information about it. Don't trust them.

Truly appalled with Vestiaire. Shocking customer service, when my parcel didn’t arrive they would not help me even though I’d chased it numerous times. Still fighting for a full refund from November 2021. Will never use them again. DO NOT USE VESTIAIRE!!!

I have made 5 purchases on VC. 3 of them were fine, despite one of them being a bag that was scratched when the listing didn’t say so. I just ignored it thinking I loved the bag too much to care. The remaining 2 purchases were nightmares, with my most recent one still undergoing bank and PayPal disputes. I purchased a wallet after the seller said on the listing that it was excellent condition with normal darkening at corners and no damage. I even left a comment on the page asking the seller to confirm if there are scuffs or damages, to which she said no, it’s got no sign of use. Pictures didn’t show damage either. Then the product arrived after a quick DHL shipping and what?! Peeled leather at the front. Corners scratched, showing the white under layer (this isn’t normal darkening?!) I emailed and did a live chat with Vestiaire on the same day and they promised full refund on both occasions. I even have the email proof that they confirmed full refund. All these happened within 72 hours of their golden period of relisting without commission btw, so one might think the nightmare is sorted. I shipped the product back to their hub the next business day. By then it was beyond 72 hours, catering for an additional 3 days of international shipping. It finally arrived at their hub today. Guess what? They then issued an email saying the product is compliant and now I can either 1) have the product back by requesting it within 24 hours 2) relist with commission fee. I almost wish I made more damages before I returned the product so they have no chance of saying it’s compliant. I emailed them for a proper, formal quality control report. As usual, I got no answer. Their customer service team is also hard to get so 24 hours = ridiculously chasing time zone difference trying to get in touch with their team while making quick decisions to compromise because a big company like that is nothing but money hungry. I’m in Australia. This is not compliant with the Consumer Law. So Aussie customers, beware!

Not to be trusted!!!! All is great until something goes wrong. Lost my items, noone is even trying to get my money back. I been emailing back and forth for 2months now without resolution..they are keeping over 200 pounds of money as currier they chose lost my items. Do not buy from them cos of something goes wrong you will not be looked after ....
