NOT TO BE TRUSTED ! I got to know this app because of a friend, I wanted to buy a bag and I wanted to try first to save some money and buy it here instead of a store because I heard it was reliable. We were both my friend and I looking for a bag and we found one we like, the same day we order the same exact bag from 2 different sellers ( seller X and Y) my seller was offering a not used and with label bag (it was packed and all new) and hers was only not used. We paid different prices for our bags, I did pay more than her, we both live in the same city and by coincidence we were both getting the bag on Friday. She got hers on Friday morning and me around 3 pm. As mentioned above my seller posted the serial number, so I know which bag I should have gotten but when I open my bag my face was blank, I felt like this is not my bag, the conditions and the pictures from my seller were so different. I was completely dissatisfied and disappointed. So I open the bag and start looking for the serial number of the bag and i realised is not the one I bought. numbers didn’t match ! So simple. I knew my friend got hers in the morning so I texted her immediately and I said, this is not my bag, it looks so dusty and mine was supposed to be packed and new. Somehow hers looked so good, so I told her I think they exchanged our bags and they gave you mine. Can you please check the serial numbers and for my surprise it was mine, the one from my seller. I told her immediately this is my bag but for her it is hers (this is another topic) but what a horrible experience. Once I realised that, I contacted them immediately to report this to customer service, I told them is not my bag and I will send it back to them. I explained them they sent the wrong bag but they tried to convince me it was my bag and what a coincidence I knew what exactly happened to my bag. Someone else got it and for their disadvantaged I knew who even has it. So i explained them over and over again, with details, serial numbers, I told them I have all the info to proof what happened in this situation and one customer agent will say ok sorry send us the bag back, the other this is your bag (we checked) etc. Crazy ! I still paid a lot of money and they just wanted to make me think is the bag I bought when it was not the serial number my seller stated in the sell, the one he/she posted. I’ve been in contact with their team every day, asking for feedback the whole time, to be honest one of the worse customer service ever, They just try to reply yes our experts will check and revert but they took so long. I even sent them a letter explaining point by point but they never really reply on what happen3ed here. The sad part here is first my first experience was horrible, in every way. Second how can you trust their service if they exchanged 2 bags and they didn’t even realise? I just saw they reposted the bag, they are selling it themselves and they posted the original photos of my seller with that serial number when that bag is not the one, my friend has that bag and that serial number, I can prove it to anyone anytime ! Crazy how unreliable they are. To me they didn’t acknowledge anything, just a fake apology. We are sorry for the inconvenience but they didn’t care or comment about this situation. Sellers, be careful because if I didn’t know they exchanged the bags I would have think the seller is not serious or is trying to trick me. The sellers reputation is on the line when the real mistake here was from them exchanging the bags. It went down in the is warehouse. Now that bag is posted, the wrong bag ! I can’t believe. Buyers I can tell you that bag has an owner. I can’t believe they made this mistake, it seems they didn’t even realise their mistake ! Again, can they be trusted ? I’m happy to share my experience with anyone, I can prove everything I said here. I’m still super disappointed about this. So sorry my experience went so wrong, I didn’t get my bag, no acknowledgment or honest apology.

got sold a fake gucci bag on here for $1,200. they assured me was 100% authentic and checked by experts. when i brought my bag into repair at gucci they said it was a fake. they said it had a fake # inside and used different parts than gucci uses. now this company refuses to address the issue they keep saying we will get back to you in 24 hours then closing my chat then asking again for my order number. such a scam. please save your money and don't buy from these people they're crooks!!

It is turning more and more into a joke, if they would only be able to employ people who are capable of reading or have at least a working brain cell, you can list every minor scratch of an item, take pictures of it, but that doesn't help as the badly trained staff doesn't look at the pictures or reads. I doubt they would be able to survive in any other job, as even stacking shelves would require an IQ higher than that of your general Vestiaire Collective drone. they don't know the rules of their own website and you can't even talk to any of them as their customer service is the biggest joke of all

I ordered a jacket from them cost over 300 GBP, the seller gave me the wrong measurements so it was too small. After sending it back to them they are refusing to give me a refund or the jacket back and are going to sell it on their site and charge me a fee. The item also had a mark on the sleeve. Customer service called me back and talked over me then said it was a bad line although I could hear them fine and then they cut me off. This is a big statement, but this is the worst company I have ever dealt with, not only did they miss sell the item, they also refuse to refund me, and they won't return the item as they want to sell it again and charge me a fee, PayPal contacted. Do not use this site there is no buyer protection

I saw fake Pradas being advertised. How does authenticity check work with that? I hope that on the authenticity card you would mention that the item is "authentic" rather than "check by".

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM SALES WEBSITE VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE . I made a purchase worth thousands of Pounds from this website and was disappointed in return. My order was in one order of many items but they sent me a fake Prada dress. What's even crazier is that in another order they sent a expensive skirt I bought to a different address to someone I'm not related to in Motherwell - Scotland instead of sending it to me in London while I was people pay them thousands of pounds??? After I complained, the guy name Jonathan who work for this Vestiaire Company sent me emails demanding me in a very arrogant and disrespectful way and forcing me to send Vestiaire Company my Identity Card and Passport also I must explain to him like a Police how is was the problem blah blah ??? How dare him to do that ??? After I called and asked the police and used the Royal Mail tracking number that Vestiaire sent me. Both the police and Royal Mail advised me not to give my Identity Card and Passport to this scam company Vestiare to prevent them from using my personal information to continue scamming me. What's even crazier is that Josh, the Royal Mail employee, showed me a basic mistake on the tracking number that clearly stated the item was sent to Scotland instead of being sent to me in London and just called or wrote down the tracking number. Enter the search box and it will appear clearly. So why does this scam Vestiaire company not carry out their responsibility and instead want to take my ID to continue scamming me out of money??? I spent a lot of time on this and am disgusted by this scam Vestiaire company. AVOID THIS BAD AND SCAM VESTIAIRE COMPANY

I wanted to share my awful experience with Vestiaire co. I bought from them a few times- ignoring the awful feedback people have given online thinking this would never happen to me. Until it did. I highly recommend you all take your business elsewhere. The first problems was they never have the buyers back. I bought something that was incorrectly labeled- had stains and problems all over it. In fact- it also didn’t look authentic to me. I complained and they wouldn’t stop the transit of the item even though the seller told me after the fact there were issues. So Vestiaire said- send it back to us we’ll look at it. They deemed it authentic and it matched the description which it CLEARLY did not. The entire time I’m speaking to 500 different employees- not one person is assigned to me case so I have to tirelessly explain myself over and over to new customer service representatives. I also tried to ask for a phone number- they don’t have one. They also don’t respond on their email. That’s a huge red flag. When a company doesn’t have a phone number they distance themselves from customers. They tried to resell my item on my account- which I told 500 customer service reps NOT to do. Again I had to repeat myself 500 times and they still did it. Finally they took it down- shipped it back and surprise- I get a bill for $300 in duties. I already paid duties when I paid for the item (it’s included at check out) I’m angry obviously because how can you be charged twice for duties this item is now worth 0$ because it belongs to me and is not a sold item. It was just them reviewing it. Again- messaging 500 customer service employees none of them grasp the problem. I have to explain myself over and over and no one is following because new people are on the case every time I send a message. I finally threatened to go to the better business bureau and suddenly they cooperate. They said they’ll pay duties and my items was paid and it arrives Guess what? Vestiaire lied. They told me they paid but they didn’t because I get a bill 2 months later saying they didn’t pay and I have to. I have messages of proof they said they are going to pay. And now I’m back to square 1 - trying to get a customer service employee to follow the situation and they are purposely not understanding. Vestiaire is a SCAM and they literally lie to their customer. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau and sharing this story. Please do NOT buy from Vestiaire. You will not be protected as a buyer. Learn from my situation

Frankly a joke, sent my item, carrier picked it up, I keep on getting reminders to send it despite the fact that it tracks on the site of the carrier, sent them 2 mails, no reply not even the "We received your request" (the IT seems to be as bad as customer service) went on the chat where I talked to "Taylor" who claims to not be a bot but always gives copy and paste replies, seems incapable of seeing that i already sent the confirmation that it was picked up by the carrier, then ignored me, total horror show, the IT seems to be as bad as the customer support (and that is truly awful) as for their "authenticity checking" I think trained zoo animals could do better, they are as good as the IT and customer support, amazed that this company still is allowed to trade, they are remarkably useless and do not have customer support

Vestiaire Collective authenticators are a joke ! They marked authentic items as fakes and passed fake items as real. Watch many video on youtube to know more about them. You cannot talk to them when there are issue arise. They rejected your authentic items for listing, they blocked your messages with buyer, they even suspense your account without giving any reason and blocked your ip address for re-registration.

Vestiaire Collective is the worst company I've ever worked with. And this is not exaggeration, it's getting only worse. I've been a professional seller on this platform for over a year now. Their verification hub is tragic. They once marked the shoes I was selling as not matching the description, because they couldn't find the extra laces in the box that were included in the description. Of course I put them inside, but I guess it's easier to cancel someone's 400USD order than to check if the extra laces are inside of the dustbag. They once marked my VINTAGE hat as not matching the description, because "the item was bought in private sale or in outlet". And yes, I don't know what's the problem with it either. I've never said I've bought it directly in store and it's pretty obvious for the vintage item to be bought from private sale. Please note - they always throw away any extras you put to the package that weren't included in the item's description. So for example - if you plan sending a gift for your buyer or you are a business owner and you put your own receipt in the package as a purchase confirmation - don't ever expect that it will come back to you if the order is cancelled by the hub. They just don't care. Counterfeit problem - yes, Vestiaire Collective is pretty safe platform comparing to, for example, Ebay and Vinted. But it's only because of its different community - people here are just less likely to be posting fake items. But of course - it still happens and it's not uncommon. Sometimes even the worst fakes are getting through their online verification system, I don't know how it's possible, since they claim themselves to be the "experts". I know cases where they marked authentic items as fakes in their hub. I know cases of the fake items, that went through their hub as authentic ones, but I guess it's nothing new and most people using the app are aware of it. Their "experts" team is very unprofessional. By the way, if they actually mark your item as unauthentic while checking it in their hub - even if they make a mistake (they will probably just ignore you if you try to prove them wrong afterwards), they take away all your hard-earned seller reputation. It works the same way for people selling 10 items a month and 300 items a month, so there is almost no chance to keep the Expert Seller badge if you are selling a lot. Fees - the problem that appeared recently once they added the new buyer fee. Yes, we've got both seller (15%) and buyer (5-15%) fee here now. It totally complicated the pricing system - buyers see the prices totally different and most of them aren't even aware of it. Amount of the sales I make on this platform dropped by around 50% after the fees update and I'm pretty sure other sellers encountered similar thing. How can they even promote themselves saying that they lowered seller fees (by the way, in my case they didn't change them at all, from 15% to 15%) when they added a whole extra fee for customers at the same time. Everything they care about is money - and they can't even make money in appropriate way, so dear Vestiaire Collective, stop claiming that you are in the business to help fashion and environment. And fun fact - their "repayment rate" system is based only on the sales made within one month. So if you decide to take a break and sell only one thing on Vestiaire Collective in one month - and unfortunately verification hub won't be able to find extra laces that you've put in the dustbag - you will have higher seller fee for entire next month. They won't care if your repaiment rate was average 1-1.5% on 200 sales before, they only count the sales from last month. In conclusion - if you have choice - don't sell there as a professional seller. I would be really happy to change my review if they ever start respecting the sellers. For now, it's fully deserved 1/5.

I bought for the first time on this platform on March 28 and I wished I did not do it. I bought a pair shoes Amida MuAddi flagged as “never worn” (which means there should not be any defects or alterations). No defects have been mentioned to me in the description or flag during the authenticated quality check. However, when my item has been delivered there was a hole on it. They are not processing my refund and they are absolutely useless. The worst experience ever.

I ordere an Prada Polo that is absolute fake. There’s strange labeling and there is no indication at all what the fabric is, surely this is not cotton, surely they simply deny any claim obnoxiously.

Had an issue which was not resolved unfortunately absolutely no customer service and care a customer bought 3 items separately and they sent me the same shipping invoice for the 3 different products have mentioned to one of their useless customer care person which told me it’s ok send them all. Now only one has been sent according to their platform and not 3. Have lost 2 items. Will definitely never use them again

I've sold my bag and asked VC if they're ok that I'll arrange an international shipping while I'm on a trip. There was no response from their support for days so I've shipped the bag. I was doing this before and it was fine. When manager got in touch with me he confirmed that it's ok. Then all the fun started. I've notified VC immediately and provided receipt and already working tracking number via email and chat. Also I confirmed in my profile that bag was shipped. 3 of the managers confirmed that they marked in system that bag was shipped and put extended time for shipping so I have "noting to worry about". Couple of days later the sale was canceled without any reason. Today is day 8 when I'm waiting for their reply. I've sent over 35 emails, more than 40 messages in chat. Tried to call, texted on IG, commented on IG, put stories on IG - and nothing. The only thing that I receive is email claiming that my case is open and previous manager will be in touch. And NOBODY I mean NOBODY gets in touch. I start to have a feeling that the only way to get their attention is to bring them to the court. Extremely disrespectful attitude towards customers.
