Hemel Hempstead I used to go here regular with my late wife but now they are just a miserable lot. Management not to be seen and when they are they are standing in groups talking to each other. They didn't even get out out of my way when I tried to pass struggling with a basket and walking stick. The till and shop floor staff are still very helpful but look so miserable and certainly do not look happy to be there. This store used to be great 5 years ago, what's happened, new management? Avoid and go to The Range or B&M, Poundland etc instead at least you are wanted as a customer and not an inconvenience.

Wilko in woodgreen should allow the cashiers to do more to help the elderly at this crucial time...example helping the elderly with getting their little bit towards their household two antibacterial wipes and a pack of tissue...customer service is about helping people especially the elderly and managers shouldn't tell cashier's they are not allowed to help put a couple cleaning products at the till until the customers reach and ready to pay at the tills ...where's customer service...?

Just spoke to customer service for store availability on a in-store product I'm looking for with me being 12 miles from the nearest Store. . Customer advisor Lady said They are not aloud to give any stock availability on in-store products etc. even though we have each store stock levels on the system but cannot give them out, This is trouble and I'm so disappointed in Wilkos services lately. They'll just push customers to shop else where by not trying to help customers with simple questions!.

All I can say wilko and thier customer service is rubbish and I will not be going back there for sure. Got searched and treated like a thief for tying my shopping bag to secure my items. Security said he saw me tying my bag, search my bags while I was leaving didn't find any stolen goods and just walk away didn't even have the courtesy to apologise. Customer service said they don't employ security so it up to them to do what they want.

Don’t buy from them online, if there is any problem, you are unlikely to receive much help or assistance from their representatives. I paid for an order on 22 December and also paid extra for next day delivery. I’m still waiting, not just for the parcel, but anything from Wilko despite many messages, feedback and reviews. 10 days with no action or response at all is pretty bad service in my opinion. My money could have been spent better elsewhere and got some interest by now!

Order # 001236278855 Bought a double Teddy quilt cover for my daughter for Xmas - last night (29 /12)she was horrified to discover a hole! On inspection, there were 3 holes, not only that but from each runs a 'pick' - a 3rd quality fabric fault (worse than a second & should not be on sale!). One runs at least 14" in length. As an ex garment Quality Control Trainer/Supervisor, honestly this was impossible to miss by the untrained eye - your QC department really must be non- existent.

I have always loved wilkos, I lived about a 10 minute walk away from the Kingston store so thankfully never had to go through to huge ordeal of ordering. Firstly, £5 to wait over a week for a delivery is an absolute bump. But either way, I went ahead and ordered. F**k me do I regret it, I get it. It’s Christmas, it’s just been Black Friday. I have worked in retail and warehouse jobs before at this time of year, I know the struggle. But I waited 10 days, I finally got an email saying my order was on its way. I am self employed so took the day off to get my parcel (filled with my guinea pigs hay and bedding which I had run out of) and the guy who didn’t attempt to come said “post code error”, I called wilkos CS and was told my post code was correct. They emailed HERMES and tried to find out where my parcel was, the man said he couldn’t get down my road because it was one way, he could’ve gone the right way?? But because it was longer he decided not to. Later that day I got an email saying it would arrive between 2pm and 6pm, it didn’t arrive. The next day (I took another day off work) to wait for my parcel because I was promised it would by WILKOS. It again, didn’t arrive. I got an email today, giving me the fantastic news they couldn’t deliver it because the parcel was damaged. Waste of time. Never ever again. I will spend more money with other suppliers who don’t try and cut corners and use the notoriously sh*t Hermes to place their deliveries. Service is much more important to me, one thing wilkos is seriously lacking.

Very rude and unprofessional staff at Wilko Stratford! Lack of customer care, the staff can barely speak understandable English and they are very defensive and arrogant! They have a sort of attitude like the customers should say “ thank you for coming to work and sorry for disturbing you”

Visited Wilko Store in Horsham yesterday. We were queuing for along time, with only one elderly lady serving all the customers. We felt so sorry for her, she held it together, but you could see she was having enough. She rang for help continuously several times, not one member of staff came, or responded to her. She was a real trooper. Where are the staff, I didn't see anyone , only the elderly lady serving. Where are the management?? Should give her a wage rise/praise, for keeping the shop running. Did not look good Wilko. Look after this member of staff. Poor lady.

Getting a response online from Customer Services takes forever. Online pricing and In Store pricing varies from store to store with online prices higher and sometimes there is no option other than ordering online which is very disappointing. Come on Wilko sort yourself out if you want returning customers. There are plenty of other discount homeware stores online and on the high street for people to choose from

Bought a amazon gift card from wilko.. The gift card hadn't been activated by the member of staff...so I could not redeem the card amount.. I contacted amazon customer services.. They checked the redeem code and informed me that the card had not been activated I store..and I should go back and get it activated..I went back and informed the manager she refused to do this??????..she said she had to phone amazon herself to confirm all of this on a weekday..I then contacted amazon again they were extremely puzzled as to why they refused to activate it..and told me to return to the shop and ask again.. I could not do this because I had been to the shop on two occasions and I didn't feel well because of a heart condition.. All I want is what I bought..never expected all this trouble.. I had the card plus the receipt but they still wouldn't activate it..I strongly advise people NOT TO BUY AN Amazon gift card..from wilkos!!!!!!

This review is for the Blackheath/Oldbury store I popped in this store as I was on my way back from West Brom I wanted to pick up a couple items these wanted items were security tagged to the shelf. Which is absolutely fine I asked one store assistant if she could get me what I wanted. Her reply “sorry I’m to busy” I wasn’t to happy so went to another assistant who replied “sorry haven’t time”…… it was as though I was an inconvenience !! I find this attitude despicable I will never return to this store disgraceful so suffice to say I left empty handed with your loss Of my cash 29.98 ! Have to say my local store in stourbridge is absolutely perfect friendly staff helpful nothing to much trouble so will now be purchasing my items from there. Train your staff in customer services……… !

Dagenham Wilko, Appear to need more staff. The shelves appear fairly empty. The checkout had two staff and queues. Finally when another checkout lady came she complained about the scanner not working correctly. Then the till roll ran out. She asked another member of staff if there was one by an empty till. The reply was no. Finally she had to leave the till to get a till roll. By then her queue was so fed up we all left the queue! Disgraceful customer service.

ALL ROUND DISAPPOINTED IN STAFF FROM LOCAL STORES! ABERGAVENNY - PONTYPOOL - CWMBRAN - NEWPORT( STORES ) The area managers need to put the staff in these stores in their place... this include duty store managers also.. they treat us customers appallingly when considering we are the customers.. shame on you Wilko.. All the staff need retraining in customer service skills in these stores from what I've experienced from over the last year or so.. Hence the reason I'm writing this experience review to make other customers aware if they aren't already aware..... To Start.. From asking a simple question to a staff member in store if they have a product in stock if not showing on the shelf.. then you'll get a blunt NO from staff And even from the duty managers because they can't be bothered to look out back or on the system , This is so obvious to see there is no helping the customers needs from staff members... Then to returning a faulty or unwanted / unopened item you'll get asked questions making the return of the item a uncomfortable experience , Plus, they don't like it when asked will they hold back a large item in store if you can't carry it home at that time of shopping and we need to bring a car back to collect the item instead of carrying it home for Eg,, All you'll get from instore staff is... Unwillingly Umm well we will hold the item back BUT to warn you our policy is only '' Same day collection '' and if not collected that same day the item will go back out on the shop floor by end of the day regardless.. but more often they'll totally refuse to hold a item back from my experience... When they do refuse to hold a item back in store they normally state its because of company policy on '' reduced sale items '' even though they have refused holding a item back for me when not a '' reduced sale item ''.. so its just unhelpful staff mainly, So be warned,, if you can't carry home a in-store item for some reason that your in-need of and there is only one item on the shelf and a staff member Do happen to agree on holding a item back for you, and its only one hour from store closing time and your not back to collect that same day, then the item will go back on the shop floor regardless.. they don't care about the customers simple. Staff don't go out of their way to help customers in these stores from my experience . This is just a few things I've experienced from these Wilko stores over the year or so, , bet it's the same for All the other Wilko stores around the country.. I've shopped in these above stores well over the last year so many times for all my everyday needs and items for projects etc,, NO MORE,. I'm not giving my money to be treated like this... They need to remember.. Good customer service keeps customers happy.. make the customers unhappy you'll force customers away and your business will go down hill slowly... Many of my family member also uses these stores for their everyday needs and they have the same opinion unfortunately,
