Ardmoor is probably OK in principle but the item I ordered had problems with the zip and I do wish that items could be checked before dispatch. This is probably impossible, especially when items are made in China in bulk. Returning goods is not easy and time consuming, so I have kept the item and cut the lining which was snagging on the zip. It is wearable, light and warm so 3 stars but a bit aggravated.

3 stars probably seems a bit harsh, I would happily give 5 stars to the customer service staff, selection, ordering & payment all good. I am fully aware the running a business in today's climate is by no means easy. I recently ordered 3 items, two of which were ready for dispatch within the appropriate timescale, however one item was not. I wish to make it clear this delay was not due to Ardmoor but external factors. There is no easy answer or a quick fix too these issues. There has to be additional cost to Ardmoor, namely postage x 2. I would like to give 5 stars to customer service for keeping me up to date on progress of my delayed order, thank you. Happy to report that all 3 items arrived, well packaged. The only advice I can give is when ordering try & order allowing for any unexpected delays & if possible do not leave it to the last minute. I will continue to order from Ardmoor in the future, when appropriate.

Product is good. But dropped stars due to the endless amount of emails. Even if you unsubscribe or tell them they still bombard you with emails

I say this only as a way to improve but the despatch time really needs to be improved. I had 6 parcels delivered from other companies before this item had even been shipped . There were emails about the time frame but it seems futile to push Black Friday and then take 5 working days to even despatch an item … the jacket arrived well packaged and it’s great but disappointingly the despatch time was too long .

Deer Hunter Winter Cap. This hat is well made, warm and the material is comfortable. What spoils it is it's not quite deep enough with the ear flap tucked inside so there's a sense that it's perched upon, rather than worn on your head. It fits fine with the ear flaps down but when tucked inside, a slight breeze would knock it off, resulting in an undignified chase. Postage was an issue also as it took a full week to get here. 3 stars for the hat because of fit and 3 stars for Ardmoor for taking 5 days to post it.

The Deerhunter Winter Cap is an excellent addition for colder days and we also have the Deerhunter RAM Cap without the flaps if you would prefer the cap not to have that addition. The timeline for processing and dispatching the Deerhunter Winter Cap is stated within the product description and in this case, the dispatch timeline is 3-5 working days which we were able to adhere to and deliver your item within the stated timeframe. I have had a look over your order and can see that we did ship your order within the stated timeframe, which in this instance was 4-7 working day. If you order was to be delayed in any way we would communicate via email, however for your order we shipped after 4 working days. We use Royal Mail and a tracked service which allows you to view the status of your order, unfortuantely, we do not have any control over the timeframe once the item has left our warehouse, other than the chosen service of Tracked 24. I ordered a pair of ladies stretch moleskin jeans. I usually take a size UK12, occasionally UK14 if the waistband is tight. I saw from previous reviews that I should order a larger size, so ordered a size UK14. The quality was lovely, but they were much too tight around the waist, and I've had to return them for a size UK16. Trust me, no woman wants to be ordering two sizes larger than normal! It's time, perhaps, for a review of your sizing.

Boots were showing as in stock, waited 6 days then contacted you to be told that you were awaiting stock, yes you refunded the postage but did not keep in touch at all

I have bought a lot of gear off you over the years. Earlier in December I ordered some iso sport EarPods for shooting with the usual 3-5 days shipping message. 2 weeks later I chased to be told a day later that they were out of stock and after a further chase they can just before Christmas. When you did respond you were helpful and informative and, having run an online business before I totally understand that sometimes you are at the mercy of your suppliers. However had you contacted me as soon as I placed the order and informed me of the stock issue it would have managed my expectations rather than this only coming to light when frustratingly chased you. Look it’s not the end of the world but consistent communication good news or bad is better than no communication

Took 3 days for them to get around to dispatching the item. Very slow for this day and age when competing against next day delivery companies. Item didn't fit well but that wasn't Ardmoors fault, just one of those things. Would use again but only I couldn't get the same item quicker elsewhere.

The item you ordered was a 3-5 working day delivery time frame, which does not include weekend days. We do also offer free exchanges so if the size isn't quite right we could exchange for a different size at no extra cost to yourself. Delivery times were shocking, £4.95 for it to take quite a while to arrive. The product is nice enough, I just don't like paying for tracked delivery when you can't track it and they don't post it.

Unfortunately, as the order was placed on a Friday night, the weekend meant the delivery period for you felt longer. Once dispatched, you receive an email with tracking details for Royal Mail and we use a 24 hour service which can be tracked online. Angus was responsive to emails and very helpful - thank you. To improve; 3-5 (which is actually 4-6 because the day of the order is excluded) seems a bit too long to get an order out.
