When I ordered, the website had an error and was sent 2 of the same order. I wanted to return it, but the fee was 1/4 of what I paid for the items so I sold them to others instead. Now, while hand washing the french press (due to past experience with machine washing and it breaking) the tip broke on both sides while passing the sponge over it and cut my thumb pretty badly. I thought it was just the machine breaking it, but the glass is of inferior quality, there is no reason it should have broken this way. I will never again by anything from Bodum.

I will not order from Bodum again. Their coffee bean grinder didn't work, they did respond with suggestions, which I incorporated but it was no better and I can't get it to work like they say it should. I've asked twice about returning it. They have ghosted me now and it seems I'm unable to return it as they won't respond back to my request. Avoid purchasing Bodum products.

You can find their products brand new in store for way cheaper than what they're selling for on their website. I've already seen it at grocery stores, Target, and Walmart for a third of what I paid! And they don't really have a guarantee on it unless you haven't touched it so you can't return anything. No wonder they don't have reviews on individual products I should have seen that as a warning sign

I couldn’t agree more with the other reviews. Poor customer service. Return shipping fee. Products not the quality they used to be. Restocking fee is outrageous. Another brand loyal customer lost after a recent purchase that arrived broken.

Bodum provides the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. here's my recent reply to them: Did you not read the inquiry? I was sent a defective replacement device after my original one caught fire. All within your warranty time period. I now do not want another item as they are complete garbage and trying to communicate with Bodum is ridiculous. Good luck staying in business!

If I could give them zero stars I would. Bodum Australia are thieves!! Don't bother to purchase anything from this company!! If you make a genuine mistake and order the incorrect item they will NOT refund your money or allow you to return the goods for a credit note. They have a policy called "No refund for change of mind purchases" for New Zealanders which they use to not give you your money back. This is the ONLY company that I have EVER dealt with that will not refund or at least give you a credit note. Spend your money elsewhere!!!

The customer service in this company is deplorable. I wanted to effect a simple return as I received incorrect merchandise. Apparently no humans work there and those that may have no appreciation for public relations. I would advise not buying from them.

Was this company taken over by the government? It's ridiculously bad quality, inefficient, misrepresented products that they refuse to refund (described as stainless steel but it's actually plastic), impossible to contact... The list is endless, a bit like their incompetence. Good luck to them.

Good god the customer service is non existent, months trying to get in contact and now wouldn't you know ..... Out of the warranty period (grinder jams up constantly) it's horribly messy since the container doesn't seal, so grounds go EVERYWHERE. do not buy a grinder or anything from from this company. I ignored the reviews, thinking "how bad could it be really" it's bad, so so bad

Worst company ever! To return the product you have to organize and pay the transport, which I knew from the start and have no issue with. I did send it back to Bodum (15€ cost) for Bodum not to accept it when UPS passed by for whatever reason and after 7-10 day it got returned to me by UPS as they were unable to drop it at BODUM's offical return address (it was correct on the shipment) ... To return UPS charged me again 15 €! Trying to get some clarification from the (honestly useless) BODUM customer service team I got 5 times the same generic answer and they kept refusing to give me a phone number so I could talk to them. Ultimately I gave up and am now stuck with a product I do not want AND having paid 30 € for the transport and return shipment Do NOT buy online from this company, the service is useless. a super disappointed customer...

A Coffee Grinder that doesn't Grind Coffee. I got this machine 2 years ago. After a year, it started making problems. Now there's just the smell of the motor working out. I tried to follow the instructions. Grinding rice - cleaning the machine etc.. But everytime, the beans would get stuck in the machine as soon as I would put them inside. Really really disappointing and a waste of money (and time!!!!!)

Avoid this company. Faulty product, customer service initially responded requesting video, but now ignoring all subsequent messages. Seems many othet people have had a similar experience.

Bistro coffee grinder broke down within three weeks, after two weeks trying still no reply from them, then I read the reviews…….. We have to buy another grinder but it will not be Bodum!

Received Bodum French Press and frother as a gift. Contacted Bodum they will do nothing without a paper receipt. Do Not buy Bodum the frother is missing parts and is non-operational. Will never use this company again. Beth Powers

Absolutely disastrous! I made an order they took my money. A few days later I received a refund but they didn’t even have the manners to tell me they had cancelled my order. When I emailed them they were extremely rude and unhelpful. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid

I bought a like for like replacement bodum coffee grinder after it finally gave up the ghost after many years of service. The new one broke within a week. ...fair enough things can go wrong. The reason for the one start review is that after raising a support request I am still waiting for a reply after 1 week of waiting. I need to return the grinder for replacement but there is no way of doing it without getting a return code from a support request.

Never buy from this company! Never buy from this company!! They describe the items wrongly, and instead of glass their coffee makers are made of thin cheap plastic. But the PROBLEM - it the communication with a customer service. They are not responsive - silence. To return a product is hell - I daily requested how to return it - they wouldn’t reply. When I received the instructions at last how to return, I have to pay for shipping, then Bodum does -10% of the whole purchase - for restocking (no good company ever dies that) that leaves me IF THEY WOULD REFUND with only 50% of my total payment to refund. But few months of delivery - still no refund. They got my returned products and never refunded me. This is a steal.

I would rate this company a ZERO if I could! Worst customer service ever. BE CAREFUL, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a set of 6 double walled glass bistro mugs, 4 are fine and the other 2 are damaged. I emailed the company same day I received them, they replied and asked for photos, which I sent them the very next day. I have never heard from them again, I've emailed them, I've called, but their outgoing messages says to email them (there isn't a person you can talk to). They have simply ignored me now. I'm so disappointed, I wish I had seen the negative reviews prior to ordering the mugs. I was willing to send the 2 mugs back for replacements, but now I just want a full refund for the entire set, I refuse to keep these mugs. With my luck, I may not have a choice, I may have paid for 6 mugs but only have 4. I did submit a claim with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), so I'm hoping to have this issue resolved with their help. It's not about the money or how much I spent, it's about this company's integrity, which they have none - ZERO!!

Bodum products look good but work poorly. More importantly, the company does not stand by its products. As an experienced customer, having had 5 different kitchen gadgets (mostly received as wedding gifts), I can attest that they all have problems. They knowingly use materials that do not hold up, becoming sticky, gooey, and disgusting to even hold. Functionally speaking, they all work, but the hand mixer settings are all too fast, and the milk warmer/frother burns the milk on the bottom, making it difficult to clean, and the rest of the items had issues with the material. I would not recommend Bodum to anyone and will never buy from them again. I did contact them about the issues, and they replied 2 months later, acknowledging that other customers have had issues with the material, but they had no useful advice and were unwilling to replace them.

Worst customer service. Definitely not original Bodum. Using this brand over 10 years and never received so cheap looking, so plastic cups. Travel press set coffee cups leaking and waist of money. Even terms and conditions says they will return, but never had money back for return postage.
