“Elbec we're absolutely fine to deal with. However the forest Whitby Arch was tricky to construct due to slightly warped wood and a very poor join at one of the dowel and due to a knot. Not sure how this passes quality control. Manged to be creative and circumnavigate this issue, but not great considering price.”

“delivery was excellent i did think the greenhouse could have made the roof fittings better the the little black plastic pieces that hold the styrene sheets in place coulds be designed better as the sheets of styrene only just about fit all the sectiones an the roof sheets where these black fitting are in place are very flimsy . I have made my own adjustments to these and now very pleased with finished greenhouse.”

“We cannot praise highly enough the service we have had from Elbeck. Our summerhouse was delivered with considerable to the main front panel. A delivery issue with Shires Ltd. Having received bad customer service from Shires, Elbec took over and the now ever increasing problems, which appeard to be insurmountable for Shires, and they were sorted. Elbec are an excellent company to deal with customer service at its forefront. I must convey our thanks to Sharron and Fayt from customer services who were instrumental in sorting the problems. Praise indeed. The Summer House itself, once finished, was excellent and we were very pleased we it.”

“The delivery was several weeks late, I was advise the arch had been sent to the delivery partner depot, but apparently it never arrived at the depot. I had to call several times to get an update on delivery, people said they would call back with information but failed to do so.
The item is delivered in kit form but the components are only part finished, eg rough sawn edges and all machined edges had to be hand finished. Nothing is pre drilled so it was fortunate I have advanced DIY skills, others may find it difficult to assemble.”
