Thank you for taking the time to review. We are so thrilled that our products were excellent, we pride ourselves on providing top quality products to your door. Huge apologies that our courier company DPD delivered an hour later than specified. Sadly this is out of our control, usually this happens due to traffic incidences, staff shortages at the depot etc. We have reached out to you and will refund you the difference from the normal delivery. We hope this is acceptable to you.

“So pleased to be able to find the ingredients I could not get elsewhere for a special French dish of navarin d'agneau (i.e. Spring lamb with Spring vegetables) which required fresh young turnips and new (wet)/green) garlic. Also the rhubarb required for a dessert. All ingredients were ultra fresh and despatched rapidly. Excellent service. Thank you so much.”

“I can get claves liver, white asparagus, beautiful mushrooms, a whole lot of nice things to eat that I cannot get anywhere else. Wonderful quality, great innovative products.....amazing for me and my guests.”

“Very good quality and perfect packing, well done. I prefer to have the raw garlic earlier harvest taken from the farm so that I have more fresh cloves, these were okay but very large and seem to be the end of the harvest.”

“I have updated this review, and increased the score from 4* to 5* - here's why: Initially, I was sad that the Foie Gras was Hungarian, rather than the "Rougie" French type that used to be provided. To be fair, it does say "Hungary" on the website, and it was I that missed that. I've been assured that this stuff tastes just as good, so I look forward to trying it. I'd ordered 100g of Fresh Truffles, and was slightly disappointed that mine only weight 96g. Not a long way short, but still a few quid. Bless the folks at Fine Food Specialists: they emailed me this morning to apologise, and have refunded me a portion of my payment! This was more than I was expecting. The White Asparagus was amazing, seriously sweet and very fresh. And on my original review, I'd forgotten to mention that I'd been sent a small bottle of Truffle Oil as a freebie. So thank you Fine Food Specialist - you more than met my expectations. Here's to next time! :-)”

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We moved away from Rougie last year due to the price and quality. A lot of our chefs have noted that our current product is superior to the Rougie, we hope that you found this too when you consumed it. In regards to the truffles, we always give the correct weight or more, so we're sorry this happened, this loss may have been in it's moisture when in transit to you. We will be happy to refund you the 4% difference on this.

“I was looking for some last minute burger buns for our Coronation party. I had bought some brioche buns on Amazon but they were too big. I was recommended by a lovely member of the team to go for the slightly bigger 6cm bun and so I chose the charcoal seeted brioche bun. They arrived on time and were so fresh and looked really designer, as if I had paid for a caterer!!! Very happy. Thank you!”

“I have been ordering from F.F.S. for a long time. My orders are always dealt with in a very efficient way. The items always come well packaged and I have never received an order damaged to date.
