Oh goodness, this is the first complaint we've had on our packaging not being nicer. We try and be as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible. “The rhubarb sent was 4 months out of date emailed on the day but still no response in terms of apology,refund or replacement but have received this request for a review brave move; I have now received refund but no replacement/ compensation for out date product which I didn't get to try so I'm in worse position than if I not ordered it in first place I'm left disappointed”

“From first contact via the website and a couple of phonecalls to delivery of the items in time for Christmas, and the packaging, I received fantastic customer service, so thank you to all the hard workers at Fine Food Specialist who went the extra mile at a particularly busy time of year for the business. The quality of the food is quite something and my mum and I had a wonderful Christmas meal together. I surprised her with the menu on the day so she had no idea what to expect, and we enjoyed Alba Truffles, and Wagnu fillet, alongside various condiments and baked goods. I particularly recommend the Handmade White Truffle Butter, it's delicious with Italian Tagliatelle. We added shavings of Alba truffle and Parmesan, although if you're on a budget then it's delicious just with parmesan, and makes for an elegant meal that's ready in about ten minutes. The recipe videos on the website are particularly helpful, and I followed the Wagnu Fillet Steak and Mushroom Salad with Baby Leaf Salad recipe, resulting in a very tasty meal, and again, it didn't take long at all and was ready in minutes. As a special treat, it's wonderful to try some high-end foods, and made for a really special Christmas. I hope to be a returning customer soon, and thanks again guys, my mum and I were over the moon!”

“In search of a supplier of quail, as I wanted to try out DIana Henry's stuffed quail with whisky and marmalade sauce (Telegraph https://www.telegraph.co.uk/recipes/2023/09/10/diana-henry-stuffed-quail-with-marmalade-and-whisky-recipe/) my internet search sent me first to Fine Food Specialist Ltd and the bonus was finding boneless quail on offer. What's more, the product arrived within 2 days (unlike our First Class Christmas cards). I will be back for more.”
