“The friction was with confusion over the instillation dates; the office giving me one set of dates and the technicians arriving on different dates. The technician ended up working until very late in the evening and then arriving at the crack of dawn in order that he would finish in time for me to keep a very important appointment. The heaters are magic compared to my old storage heaters, so nice to come into a warm house later in the day. I have only had them for a few months so cannot comment on the consumption.”

Replaced lounge heater with fireplace much better something to look at and freed up a wall to put things against. “Quite pleased with the heaters themselves, which were installed in one day (6 heaters) without too much disruption or mess and rooms left reasonably clean & tidy afterwards. Installation team (3 men) were pleasant enough and got on with the job in an efficient manner, explaining how to use all the control options afterwards. The old CHS pipes & boiler were mostly removed without mishap, leaving the immersion heater circuit for providing hot water. Unfortunately, the connections to the back boiler behind the coal fire were not dealt with correctly and were left in an unfinished state, with hot water running out into the kitchen if the fire was lit. At the pre-installation survey I was told that the easiest option, as I was keeping the coal fire, was to re-connect the back boiler into the hot water circuit after all the CHS material had been removed, but this wasn't done on the day and it took several weeks for this to be fixed, during which time I couldn't light the fire safely at all, as four pipes from the old system had been left open leading into the kitchen. The technical manager at Fischer was pleasant and helpful in dealing with this problem, but it introduced stress, worry & delay in finishing things off which I could have done without.”
“HEATER LOOKS GOOD AND WORKS WELL, BUT IS NO CHEAPER TO RUN THAN MY OLD STORAGE UNIT. THE PROGRAMMER ALLOWS ME TO CHOOSE WHEN I HAVE THE HEATING ON AS OPPOSED TO THE OLD UNIT WHERE I HAD NO CHOICE, AND WHICH COOLED DOWN DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. DESPITE THE SARCASTIC COMMENT YOU MADE TO A PREVIOUS CUSTOMER'S REVIEW, I ALSO FIND THE PRODUCT EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS.”
“After initial concerns regarding the suitability of the radiator fitted in the conservatory. Mainly the dwarf radiator did not heat up the room as guaranteed and after a little gentle persuasion with the technical support team. I can say that as the radiator was replaced with a bigger radiator without issue, the service received was outstanding. And the replacement Is perfect for the job”
“After moving to a house with no mains gas the heating was from night storage heaters which was rubbish. The house would be warm in the morning but when I returned home from work the house was cold as the storage heaters had cooled. After some research I decided to replace the heaters with heaters from Fischer Future Heat. Installation was quick, with no mess and conducted by professional friendly and polite engineers. The heaters are modern and stylish unlike the ugly heaters I had previously. Because of the way the heaters work I now have controllable heat throughout the day and into the evening when it is most needed.”
“I had 3 Fischer storage heaters installed in June 2015. My previous heaters were almost 30 years old and very inefficient. The demonstration of the proposed heaters was excellent,well explained and I did not feel pressurised at any time. The day of fitting was easy,both fitters arrived on time and within 2 hours the job was completed and the house left clean and tidy all debris removed and a demonstration given by a competent young man.The first winter my electricity use fell by 49% and my fuel bill now reduced to ?49 a month from ?80! The flat is always at a constant heat and our first bill for the coldest months very reasonable a lot lower than we were expecting. High initial cost but for totally even heat with easy to understand control well worth it. The holiday setting is a fantastic option, great to return to a warm home without the system being left heating an empty property at high temperature and cost. It really works.”
“Excellent heater I've modified (up to 4 stars) my review based a great response from manufacturer forwarding us a more simply instructions - I still feel it's far too complicated to set up after a power failure. It's a sad world were we seem to us overcomplicated technology to operate a device.”
