“We received a 6 month subscription as a gift from a family member. I was annoyed that we were asked to pay for the shipping. I feel this should have been included in the cost our family member paid for the subscription. The family member was not aware that the shipping wasn't included. The kits are very cute, and my kids enjoy them. Our order processes on the 28th of each month but doesn't arrive for over 2 weeks later. It's frustrating because our first box arrived within days of being processed. For example our order 'was cooking' on 2/28, notification 'ready to ship' was sent 3/11, our box didn't arrive until 3/20. This month our order 'was cooking' on 3/28, I received a notification 'ready to ship' 4/8, and the order has not yet shipped. I doubt it will be here by Easter, which is this month's box theme. I wouldn't renew our subscription because it's sort of expensive and shipping takes forever.”
“This is probably the best thing I have ever purchased online for my grandkids. They were absolutely enthralled with the cookie turtles and jumped up and down when they saw the new package arrived for Easter! But this time they are under orders to save one for me.”
“My daughter feels this is the best for my granddaughter. They have enjoyed 1 box and waiting until this weekend to work on the Easter box. Great communication from company of when box is shipped and when it is delivered.”
“I bought a year's subscription for my 3-4 y/o great-grandson, who cooks with his mother every weekend. Mom says he's really enjoys making, and eating, his recipes!”
“The kits are fun and provide some kitchen items that can be kept and reused.
Am very disappointed that all the kits so far all full of processed flour and high sugar. We need to inspire children with healthy eating habits! Spelt flour, healthy snacks, real food. Not repackaged cake mixes. Thought I was buying "chef" kits with children and health in mind.”
“We received our first box, and my kids loved it. Everything was packaged nicely and the card designs were visually appealing. It required a little more supervision than I was expecting (although that could have just been my kids lol). I did feel like the STEM/educational component was missing though. Unless I overlooked it, I was expecting there to be a brief "lesson" or even just educational fun facts related to the activity. I saw a STEM activity on one of the cards inside the box related to dying Easter eggs, but that was not the activity the kids were actually doing. Either way, it was a great activity and my kids are already looking forward to their next box. This is such a great concept :-)”
“As of today I have received 0 orders. Have had to contact customer support by phone so many times to get 0 response. Finally posted an angry response on Facebook and got a message through messenger. Was told both orders were being shipped out. Had to follow up again. Now hit email saying order “lost in transit “ This was suppose to be for Easter and doubt I’ll see it by then. Had done a 6 month subscription but am thinking about canceling because I don’t want to have to track this every month. The website for “check your order” has provided zero help as well”
“I would give 3.5, however, its impossible to get ahold of people. There is no phone number to contact. Shipments were missed, by the time they respond they typically ask if I want a new one sent, then 2 are coming at once. You can only communicate via email.
Took away from the specialness of the gift.”
“Really fun activity with the kids but would love if the ingredients were a little more healthy. No red dyes, less sugar, maybe ‘protein’ pancakes instead of regular ones.”
