“Easy to use website. But disappointed in how long it took for Koala to ship my dogs much needed meds. My vet approved order in 1 day, it took Koala over a week after approval to actually ship.”
“I placed the order on the 12th, and it didn’t ship until the 23rd, which is absurd! This is the first and last order I will ever place with this company. Nowadays, it should not take long to process, package, and ship an order to a customer. There is no excuse for the slowness, and I don’t wish to experience it again!”
“Not until I emailed you after two weeks of no communication from you, that's 10 business days did you start to move on getting prescription filled. In total it was almost 3 weeks/15 business days, until filled. Then you tried to make it up for it by putting a rush on delivery. Unsatisfactory first experience”
“After clearing up confusion about our current vet, Koala took an absurd amount of time to get us our medication. This will be our last Koala experience. It’s unfortunate too, we loved the initial experience. Had to call and follow up with emails sent, I don’t have time for all this. I work 17 hour days sometimes, the last thing I want to do is deal with customer support.”
“The price has tripled since I started getting my dog's medicine here. It used to be a fraction of what the vet charged and now it's not only more than the vet charges, it's also higher than every online pharmacy I've checked. The only remaining plus side to using Koala is that each dose is individually packaged.”
“This order took too long to process. I receive it 14 days after ordering. I chose a week with cool temperatures. By the time it was shipped, it was subjected to hot weather (hotter than the posted max temperature on the box). Very disappointing.”
“I feel the communication was very bad. I had to call twice to get status of order. Getting two separate answers. First said they needed approval from vet when vet sent in prescription. Then after a week still hasn’t sent I called and told the amount was wrong amount. Needs to work on communication with customers.”
“Placed order and didn't hear anything for over a week. Called and left a voicemail and finally received a call back with shipping information. No update saying the vet had approved and it was on its way, had to call and request that information. Also, pill dispensing instructions and pills totally different than what I had been getting. Not clear if severely scored chewable pill is 100mg for whole thing or for half. Won't order thru you again!”
“It took over a week to receive my dogs prescription. Once I sent an email inquiry, it happened to ship that same day and arrive overnight (which is appreciated) but it wasn’t noted where the delay was. Based on this, I assume it’s standard timing? If something was missed/delayed I’d be more willing to try again. Thankfully it’s not a “critical” medication but your main competitor is only 3-4 days MAX.”
“I changed the date for a care box item to go out earlier due to travel. then i get an email that same care box item was shipped on the old date. Now I have 180 day supply and $400 out of my pocket. I sent and email to change the next care box 180 days, but havent heard back.”
“There are very few options for large breed dog regarding heart worm treatment. I need a topical that will treat over 110 pds. My 8 month cat of is already 95 pounds”
“I sent an email after my last shipment arrived, that the envelope that the meds were the med box was smashed and some pills cracked. If my next shipment is damaged, I'm returning, and will no longer use Koala to have my pet meds shipped. They should be shipped in a box not an envelope.”
“Being forced into a subscription instead being able to make a one time purchase is a disgusting business practice and on top of that you have to contact customer service to cancel a subscription instead of having a one click cancel.
There's no point to show an autoship "discount" if that's the only option.
The auto refill terms of service says "If you do not agree, do not use Auto-Refill" but should be reworded to say if you do not agree do not use Koala.
The one positive that I will give is that the medication came in a nice welcome box with a little card. If you want a subscription service they may be an alright option, but I hate being forced into one.”
