“Subscription is a scam, when questioning customer service I was hung up on and after sending an email with complaints I did not receive a response. There is no warning that you’re next shipment will arrive and your increase in cost is not notified to you.”
“I placed my heartworm medication order on 3/1. It shipped a few days later and I expected to receive it according to tracking on 3/8. It didn’t arrive. I emailed customer service on 3/13 concerned about the integrity of my dog’s medication due to the unknown location and unknown temperature exposure as tracking had not updated for several days. The email reply stated that Koala was working hard to reship my order. That was in fact a lie. I contacted Koala again three days later after no new tracking information was received and did not receive a response until two days later. My medication was finally delivered nine days after the original tracking said it would be with zero attempt by Koala to make it right. It’s good I planned ahead and didn’t need the medication yet as it was clear I wasn’t getting it quickly nor did Koala ever plan to reship it like they said. I have been a veterinary technician for 20 years and anytime a client experiences anything like this usually there’s some sort of attempt at making it right. This was an extremely disappointing experience and I’m never using Koala pharmacy again. I will make sure Clematis Animal Clinic knows about my experience as well.”
“This was my first package with Koala Health. It arrived almost a week late, opened and a medication for my dog missing. I’ve reached out and waiting to hear back. I’m disappointed with this whole experience.”
“Unfortunately, Koala falls short on every expectation from an online pharmacy. Everything takes at least a business week to process, meds have been so delayed that I had to purchase more from vet while awaiting an order arrival, and they’ve also tried to send meds for a pet that recently passed despite the fact that I notified them of the pet’s passing at the time to avoid such mishaps. They will charge for things like Bravecto every two months instead of three to “avoid lapses” in medication, but won’t expedite medications that truly cannot avoid a lapse. Extremely disappointed this is the online pharmacy my vet has chosen to use.”
“Doing business with this company is painful. Took me over 2.5 hours of phone calls, emails and mistakes by the company to get heartworm medication for six dogs. Your company refused to fill the prescription written by my veterinarian. My veterinarian is the one who asked me to purchase these items from your company. I will be looking to take my business elsewhere and cancelling my autoship. 57 years old and never had as bad of an experience than with your company. Pathetic.”
“2X now I’ve tried to order the correct medicine for my dog and 2X now it’s been wrong and approved by a VET my dog has NEVER seen. My dog is seen by Dr Bail NOT McVicker. I no longer want or value a subscription with Koala care for Nex-Guard Plus since I am fed up with this error in service!”
“I wish I could give them 0 star. I had placed an order last year with a subscription and since they took weeks before the purchase was processed and shipped to me I wrote to them requesting my subscription to be cancelled which they did not. Fast forward to this month I got another charge from them because they reshipped the previously subscription order I had requested to cancel. They keep ignoring my emails for a refund and have the audacity to send me an email requesting a review. I don't ever want to hear from this company again.”
