This is without a doubt the worse phone company I have ever had the misfortune of being with. I transferred from plusnet mobile after 5 years as lyca were offering a cheap 1month rolling sim deal. It was cheap, I'll give them that. I lasted 2 months with them. Firstly, their services are unreliable, phone calls often cut out without warning. Not too much of an issue for friends/family, you can just phone back. But what about a customer service line in which you have to wait 15-20mins to get through? You get through. Oh joy! Oh relief!.... the call cuts out. Start again buddy. Not only did this happen for a number of different companies, the most common one was for Lyca customer services themselves!!!! One time I phoned twice in a row, waited 20mins each time, the call cut out both times after 30-45seconds. So incredibly frustrating. Not to mention data wouldn't always work and they also managed to screw up my port-in somehow so my port-in number displayed on calls, but not when I texted someone. I mean how do you even screw that up?! Contacted technical help twice about it. First time they said 'it's solved!' (it wasn't) the next time they just ignored me and never got back to me about it.....I should definitely phone customer services about that.....oh wait...... Anyway left them for another provider and I will never, ever be back, even if they offered me their services for free.

Worse company ever made the mistake of choosing them while traveling Europe. I've spent like 150 on them this month ridiculous it's only been 3 weeks because my data keeps running out. I'm not using it for YouTube or anything just google maps almost exclusively.

I think lycamobile is the worst service provider in the US ! I was not able to send text messages with my number. I called the customer service and they said it would be resolved in 48 hours Before the expiration of the 48 hours, all my incoming calls started going into voicemail. I kept calling the customer service and the answer was always like a robot "they would fix in 48 hours. For two solid weeks, this problem persisted. I lost an interview call up when I could not be reached. Words can not describe what I went through within those two weeks. I had to port to another network eventually. I will not recommend lycamobile for my worst enemy!!!

Customer service is horrible—completely incompetent, unresponsive, and manipulative, both on email and on phone. They never attempted to resolve the issue I had, which was an easy fix when my bank eventually helped with it. I question how legit this company is.

The worst out there. 30c per minute to call local numbers. Very misleading PROMOs. Switched to different provider the same day I activated Lyca Mobile.

Very patchy on/off service and coverage, and weak signal. Sitting on trains even in central London, everyone else doing stuff on their phones....mine? Zero bars and searching. Waste of money.

If you want to waste your time and money I suggest you to buy lycamobile SIM card. Customer services is awful.

Purchased a pay monthly SIM and have left for another provider within a week. Unable to add payment details to the online portal and nobody could help. Terrible customer service, well basically none existent customer service. Every reply I received from them didn't answer a single question, never again

Very bad service. From the last three months, i am trying to change my ownership, they just saying sorry for that sory for that. Fed up with lycamobile. Hope i can sue them.

I took out a new 1 month rolling contract, didn't note the order No as I assumed it would come thro' in an email, but it didn't. Next day I took another plan to which I got email confirmation but no log in details and there's no mobile tel No on the envelope that contained the sims and so I can't use either if I wanted to !. I noted my cc was charged for both transactions but I cannot speak to anyone to get 1 cancelled and refunded. I have emailed Lyca, getting delivery and read receipts but no reply ! Lyca doesn't deserve 1 star in my opinion.

Customer service is appalling. Don’t have a clue what they are saying. Bought a contract sim with 15gb a month. When calling to activate sim im told I’m on a pay as you go plan. Didn’t receive any confirmation of transaction but money was taken from my account. Customer service avoiding my request to cancel and just suggesting other contracts. Keeps sighing over the phone and going on hold. Didn’t receive a code to activate. Got hung up on after I insisted to canceling the sim. Horrible customer service. Rude reps.

I bought the SIM and did registration and top up and received a confirmation on both. Until this point everything was fine. 2 days later I received a message stating my registration was rejected. I reached out the the customer service and went through the worst experience. I was responded by a name on the chat Bilal Ahmad. He (assuming) told me that the porblem was not the registration but the money for the top up bundle and asked for the proof from my bank that the money being deducted. I sent them their email of successful transaction and proof from bank. I was told that the issue would be resolved in 24 hours. 24 hours later, nothing has improved. I contact them and I'm confronyted by the same name Bilal Ahmad. I was relieved that I wouldn't have to express myself again. But apparantly they have a generic name with a different person sitting behind. He/she (can't assume anymore) told me that the issue is connected registration and not payment. The issue is still unresolved.

I felt conned by them as got a sim that didnt work and couldnt get help by phone and email takes 3-4 days and no help at all, i think the care team are in india and Nikita Sakhuja contacted me and was not professional and did not want to know, shocking service, avoid

Applied for a great value looking SIM through a link on the Money Saving Expert site. No email confirmation of order received, but they took my initial payment. SIM arrived within a couple of days. Instructions said my activation PIN had been emailed, but I had received nothing. Phoned Customer Service - no help at all. Eventually got PIN by text, only when I had put the SIM card in my phone. Tried to connect using PIN provided, got a message saying 'wrong PIN' or words to that effect. Phoned Customer service again, but having been on hold for 5 mins decided to bail out and forget all about changing to Lycamobile. I have written off the initial amount I was charged.
