“As a tutor for an online tutoring and assignment help service, I have mixed feelings about my experience here. On the plus side, you can usually negotiate your rates before finalizing, which gives you some control over your earnings. Payments are easy to get, which is convenient. Also, if for any reason you can't take on a job, there's no pressure; you can simply say no. However, there are significant downsides. The company doesn't cover additional expenses like internet costs or necessary teaching materials. This lack of support for essential tools is a real drawback and makes the job less viable financially. Overall, while there are some good aspects, the lack of reimbursement for necessary expenses is a major con."”

“As a tutor for MEB, I initially had high hopes. My experience with them has been a mixed bag. While it's great that tutors have a say in the final price, you often end up in endless negotiations with students. This whole back-and-forth can become quite frustrating. Ugh! Providing quality education should be the focus, not haggling over fees. I find it quite tiresome, and it takes away from the joy of teaching. It's an aspect that really needs improvement. The process should be streamlined to be more tutor-friendly.”

“Working at My Engg Buddy has been an honor. They treat tutors with respect and ensure that everyone is happy. The payment is great too, and it feels good to be appreciated for my efforts. One thing I love is that we usually don't get bogus inquiries that waste our time. However, there are a couple of downsides. If a student cancels a session, the fee paid to the tutor is almost zero. Also, as the company is growing very fast, frequent changes in policies and procedures can cause confusion and frustration among tutors. Overall, it's a fulfilling place to work despite these minor issues.”

“I found MEB on a review website and decided to join them right away. Honestly, the payment is way better than what competitors offer. But man, it can get pretty lonely since there's almost no community or peer support among tutors. It gets kinda isolating. One time, I had a student struggling with college-level courses in Mechanical Engineering. We made it through alright, but I wish there was a better sense of teamwork here. Overall, MyEngineeringBuddy has its perks but also its drawbacks.”
