“First time using Devout, I have loved the items that came. All pre worn but that is the idea of renting and everything was clean. The box was a little too large for the items though so the clothes arrived in a bit of a heap. Hopefully as the service gains more users there will be more variety / new options and the monthly cost could come down further. I will try again for month two without the introductory offer but it does make it a lot more expensive.”

“Prompt service, two out of 5 items were brand new with tags. the other two items were clean and in excellent condition. It can be difficult to find items as a lot are unavailable, (size 12) this limits choice, hopefully further lines and items will be added.”
“Love the concept, clothes condition has always been brand new with tags or excellent. Never had a problem with sizing. Customer service has always been excellent. I’ve been ordering for around 6 months and am struggling to get some newer items in my size, maybe there are more users but there has definitely been less choice recently which is a shame.”
“This is a great concept and if the price continued to be £39 a month and there was a more of what I wanted in stock I would have probably continued with it. Sadly as I’m on maternity leave I couldn’t justify the £79 or the new price of £59 and. I also found that a lot of the items I wanted were not in stock which was disappointing. That being said I loved receiving my box each month and most of the items were brand new which was amazing. The customer service was always very polite and helpful when I had a query too. I would definitely consider returning as a customer in the not too distant future if there was more stock of items.”
“Love this subscription its such a great idea! Ive been ordering 5 items each month for about 4 months. I love all the pieces, they're always great quality. Really appreciate that the price has dropped from its original higher rate! I was going to cancel before the price dropped. This was mainly due to the website and stocking. The website is clunky and difficult to use particularly on a phone. This is only redeemed by having a great support team who always reply quickly. However it's still frustrating. My biggest criticism is that the clothes are really poorly stocked and rarely have options for sizes. I haven't seen any sizes restocked on my favourited items the whole time I've been subscribed. I'd recommend being hot on your ordering when new clothes come in! Despite the draw backs I still love the concept and love all my items too.”
“Monthly rentals always come super quickly from ordering, and the swap over is easy and seamless. Every time I’ve contacted customer care with a query, too, they respond quickly and helpfully. Will continue to keep renting each month for the long term - just would love to see newness as much as possible!”
“My first box arrived four days after ordering (it would have been earlier but there was a courier delay), I was able to get help from customer services via email and the online chat, and the clothes arrived by 10am the next morning. Two of the pieces were new with labels, everything was great quality and fitted perfectly. So far so good!”
“I love the idea of renting clothes and think £80 for 5 items is good value. The clothes that came were really good quality. Unfortunately most of the clothes didn't suit me or didn't fit right and you have to pay £10 to swap so it wasn't good value for me. I would like more brands to pick from, it's also hard to flnd clothes available in your size.
Customer service was excellent,I was sent the wrong size jeans and this was rectified quickly.”
“Adore the concept and think it's a great way to refresh your wardrobe without clogging up your house. Also love that you can buy the items too.
My items arrived in a box that was falling apart and were quite creased. However I did get a great wear out of some of the items. Otherwise they often didn't have my size.
I do think the price tag is a little steep with the small selection of clothes available, would love to see more Mango, Zara, Reformation items.
Would potentially use again should they improve the clothing presentation and choice variety.”
“This is my first time using a clothes rental service. I'm pretty pleased overall. I selected five items from a mix of brands - some I know, some I've always wanted to try. Delivery was easy & quick - well packaged, no excess plastic / packaging. 3 of the 5 items I received were brand new, 1 in good condition, 1 was pretty worn looking. I've enjoyed wearing the clothes so far, and will use the service again.
I find the £79 a month price tag a bit too expensive, so I sense I'm unlikely to continue using the service after my three-month, half-price trial. I genuinely would consider buying one of the items, but it's the only quite worn-out item in the box, so it doesn't feel worth the price (even with the 25% discount).”

- Website is terrible, especially on mobile. For some reason it opens every item in a new tab which makes zero sense

I absolutely love the clothes that I received, in pristine condition and beautiful quality. I will definitely continue to use the service.
I love that The Devout are size inclusive (unlike many other clothing hire services I've looked at previously) but more size 18 options would be welcomed although I'm sure that this will be considered as you continue to grow.”

“Really happy with my clothes, arrived so quickly and only one item didn't fit. The biggest problem is that the website is incredibly hard to use which is a shame. Its quite hard to navigate and I've had to use the online chat 3 times to get my subscription set up and sent out. However the online chat is really quick and they were really helpful! Love the idea of renting clothes and will definitely try it I've the next couple of months. Other than the website it is also a shame a lot of clothes aren't well stocked! Still found 5 items I wanted but would be much better to have a larger selection stocked. Still 4 stars though because I like the concept, loved the clothes and online chat we're fast and helpful😊”
