“My car broke down so my garage got in contact with warranty first as I took the warranty out when I purchased the car. They were absolutely amazing and sorted it out straight away ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“The steering on our car started to have bit of play, as it is covered under warranty, I thought I would get it sorted once the MOT was done. However the MOT centre flagged up the play in the steering as an advisory (Steering rack has slight play detected at the steering wheel). Now Warranty First will not cover the steering rack repair at it is marked as an advisory. Also what is crazy is Warrenty First even said the steering wheel needs to be fixed as well, which means they haven’t got a clue what they are talking about as the play was detected at the steering wheel, not that there is a fault with the steering wheel! I am very disappointed, if you are thinking of using Warrenty First, make sure you get anything repaired by Warrenty First before you get your car MOT’ed. This is a very dishonourable way of getting around paying out for a valid claim.
The manager I spoke to, even confirmed that if I started the claim the week before the MOT, the claim would have been upheld! Crazy!”
“Like many others say. They promise you everything and deliver nothing. They'll find any excuse to get out of paying. Another awful warranty company that are happy to take your money but when it comes to paying out they simply aren't interested. Notice how pretty much all of the 5* reviews they have on here have been posted anonymously! All of the genuine reviews are actually negative ones!”
“in any case, don't be fooled by these people, they are very friendly, when they want to give you a contract, then if you have a problem with your car, they know how to go around all the ways, don't trust them, they are scammers ow I have to paid bills in garage !!”
“Absolute joke I paid for premium and when I tried to claim after my car needed £400 of parts they said it was not covered as it was only noticed on a service and MOT”
“Absolutely waste of money got told covered for steering took to garage payed then got told that part not covered DO NOT USE unless u like been out of pocket.”
“We purchased premier cover when we bought our 5 years old car from a dealership. We were given a small leaflet stating it’s basically covered for everything so we went with it and paid it for the whole year. Thank God we didn’t get longer cover!!!!! Half a year later the Clock Spring broke (not a wear and tear item) which needs and part of the steering wheel, needs for the horn to work as well. Steering wheel and horn is covered by the warranty. Yet we were refused on it because according to them this particular part isn’t covered despite the fact that the horn itself alone can’t work without it and also it’s in the steering wheel.
No nasty surprise they say on the website. Well think again!
Thank you for your wonderful service! You’ll find everything possible so you don’t have to honour your part of the deal!
Reported you to trading standards as well since it’s a misleading advertising!”
“Shambolic service from Warranry First, I had a warranty through these cowboys had this cancelled for no reason whatsoever. All I could think of is that Warranty First were trying to blackmail the dealer.
This behaviour that’s intolerable, dishonest and simply disgusting. If this is how they treat there relationship with a dealer that gives them recurring business. How do you think they treat there customers. If any prospective dealers are considering them, please do not choose Warranty First, avoid them, they are a plague.”
“Warranty First helped me out massively with the big repair bill I had. Putting the claim in was really easy and it didn't take long for it be to approved and paid out. The lady on the phone was really helpful”
“Fantastic service throughout, was contacted for my warranty renewal and the team explained all my options and helped me keep my car protected, will be renewing with them again next time”
“When I rang to make a claim they were super efficient and processed it really quickly which was a massively relief as I have children and needed a working car asap.”
“Review from a dealer based in Sheffield
DO NOT USE WARRANTY FIRST FOR YOUR SALES stick with What u have don’t make the jump it will cost you not only financially but time and effort to keep your customers happy
I have cancelled all our policy’s recently and will be moving them back to the RAC
They are a complete nightmare
I had been with warranty first previously but left due to complaints from customers that the warranty’s was not worth the money Decided to go with the RAC for a number of years and decided to give warranty first another go as was told they had changed the policy’s better than the RAC
Worst mistake I’ve made the policy’s do not support the customer warranty first shop around for the cheapest parts possible garages do not want to carry out the work
The policy’s Dynamic are completely a waste of a dealers money , premier warranty’s are like a RAC Gold but priced as a Platinum plus RAC
Customers require to pay 10% the knock on effect of that is that the dealer receives a complaint
Labour rate £50 everything is including vat things can be altered but the price increase on the warranty is significant.
Date of experience: 15 September 2023”
“What a fab company, they dealt with my claim very swiftly and also with care, would highly recommend Warranty First!
I'm now all fixed and back on the road with a smile on my face”
“Great service from the sales team at Warranty First, my purchase went smoothly, great price and option to pay monthly. Hope I don’t have to use the policy but good to have the peace of mind that it’s there if needed!”
“warranty covers and what the terms and conditions are, it's difficult to know whether it's worth investing in their services.
Even if you do manage to find information about Warranty First's warranty policy, there's no guarantee that they will actually pay out for anything. It's concerning that there are reports of customers having difficulty getting the company to honor their warranty claims. This raises serious questions about whether WarrantyFirst is actually providing any value to their customers or just taking their money and running. Another thing to mention is the call centre itself just sounds amateurish. No queue system when busy, they just say call back. Just an odd vibe.
Overall, I would strongly advise anyone considering WarrantyFirst to do their research and proceed with caution. There are many other companies out there that offer reliable warranty services and are transparent about their policies and procedures. Don't take a chance on a company like Warranty First that appears to be hiding something and may not have your best interests at heart.”
