“Please stay away from this absolute joke, fraudulent, ripoff merchant of a company! Over 6 weeks since my order and still no delivery. They ignore the majority of your messages and when they do reply to a WhatsApp they ignore you reply! They told me items were out of stock two weeks ago and when I agreed to change them they send me a tracking number, after waiting two weeks i contacted them again to be told “your items are on the way” then suddenly a message yesterday that most items are out of stock (even the ones I agreed to change to). They now want to replace my order of 10 items with similar items in different colours but only 6 items 🤣🤣 can’t wait to speak with trading standards because there is so much more evidence online or how they are behaving (look at the review sites).”

“What a joke of a company, put an order in on the 6th October still not received anything. Can only get in touch with them through email or WhatsApp and even then it’s a patchy conversation.
They supposedly sent my parcel out to then find out they lost it before it went out, then items that I ordered weren’t in stock so asked for other options. Totally and utterly ignored to then just get a message saying “so do you want a refund or send your items out”, leave it I’ll have a full refund. Folks totally leave Xplosive Ape along and go straight to Silverback Gym wear you will not be disappointed, just wish I had taken my own advice!!!”

I placed my order on 20th September 2021 and till date (04th November 2021) i haven't received my shipment. I have written several emails and reminders and till now i haven't even received a single reply to my email. I just want refund. Order placed 9th , no notifications of despatch. Messaged several times, eventually confirmed despatched to Hermes 28th. A week later Hermes still waiting to receive.
Cannot speak to anyone. They seem to send messages to fob you off. Ive requested a refund but still nothing or communications. They really need to read reviews. Another family member is having same issues. Absolutely disgraceful”
“Ordered a hoody and after a month of waiting for it, it still has not arrived. No response from company still. Used to be a great company, now it’s shocking. 3rd order in the past 9 months that’s needed chasing.. Need to get a grip of their business or jack it in!!”
“Sent a hoody back as directed by them as it was the wrong size, sent it recorded delivery and they received it the next day. Every email and WhatsApp message has been received and ignored this is now going into the second month that they’ve had my item and I’m still being ignored. “Ordered 3 t-shirt combo in sale for £20.
Ordered at 12pm on Tuesday expecting same day dispatch, but it wasn't until the following Monday the order was sent (After I had chased it up)
Items arrived on Thursday and looked good out of the package. Wore each t-shirt once for training and washed on 30'c delicate cycle and hung dry. T-shirts shrunk 5cm (Yes I measured before and after) on length and the shoulder/sleeves shrunk out of shape. They now look short and baggy around the waist.
Contacted Xplosiveape and they sent replacements.
Washed replacements on 20'c and hung dry on the line. Same thing. T-shirts shrunk and are now out of shape and look rubbish.
Contacted Xplosiveape and have been given a full refund, minus the postage which I will be asking for.
Overall I feel that the quality of product this company now offers has fallen far below what they used to sell. I had a t-shirt (Don't talk to me range) for many years and wore it to death, washed it on many hot cycles with spin and had no problems.
Considering they market themselves as gym apparel I don't feel that some of their products are fit for purpose, as the slightest amount of moisture seems to cause shrinkage.
Won't be using again and instead will be looking for Silverback products instead. ☹️”
“I ordered a frankenape hoodie and t shirt combo from these for my sons birthday, sadly they sent it via the dreaded waste of space called hermes and i never received it.
I emailed to explain it was a birthday present and they sent me out another order which arrived to late for the birthday but was still gratefully received, while i was waiting for that to arrive i ordered myself a couple of hoodies and i am pleased to say they all arrived complete with a free t shirt as an apology for the first order going missing.
I really cannot praise this company enough, they went out of their way to help me sort out the failed delivery and replaced it without any argument, customer service like theirs is a rare thing in this day and age.
The quality of the items are all better than i expected for the price charged, from the print to the material to the workmanship it is all top class.”
“Ordered first set of 3 combo t shirts never arrived after alot of messages sent replacement of 3 graffiti combo t shirts .worn them once they've faded .gone really baggy around the bottom and shrank .washed on 30 degree wash dried naturally. Messages XplosiveApe sent photos proof they offered me 30% discount on reorder shirts are a load of rubbish can't even wear them a second time”

A really shoddy experience with this company. After 7 working days I got in touch to ask what was the progress with my item, they said it takes 7 working days for it to be dispatched from their warehouse even though on their website it states Royal Mail delivery is 3-4 working days. So that was a load cod’s wallop. A few more days past and I contacted again. They said they’d look into it. I then received a random £3.50 refund email for the postage and packaging but nothing else. A day later They then said that they are looking into where the order is.
Next response - is that they have sold out of the item and that they told me about this but had no response from me. What a load of Crock Shizzer & lies. Then had the audacity to say that they can send another pair out.
I responded and asked for a refund.
They then proceeded to ignore my requests. After having to contact them through WhatsApp I eventually got a response saying that they will refund me.
Why are you advertising stock that you don’t have?? And letting people give you’re company money then waiting 2 weeks to tell them they’re not in stock. What a bunch of monkeys!!”
“Ordered 4xl as the 3xl was a tad small so wanted a more generous fit.., three 4xl T-shirt came and was same size as the 3xl they then wanted me to send them back for a bigger size I haven’t the time so I’ve now unsubscribe from them , sizing from these guys are atrocious since they been took over, and the delivery is way to long compared to other companies!”
