YODEL and "reliable" should never be used in the same sentence! The mere fact that they don't accept customer telephone calls says it all... What they are very good at is cutting-and-pasting a set of standardised fob-you-off excuses on their online chat. Watch out for: • the van has broken down • the driver cannot find your address • attempted delivery failed • sorry, running late, will be delivered by 9pm* (*when even this useless chat service closes at 8pm) • need more delivery location information • your driver had a heart attack and died, but will be with you shortly ...and if you believe any of that, then you're a fool. Always request DHL, DPD or Royal Mail delivery, else cancel your order.

Worst experience ever. They got the box with an office chair (imagine the size) from the seller and lost it in one of their depots. Live support couldn't contact the depot for days and the package was still lost. Support was all indian and used identical copy-paste messages. They even asked me about the contents of my package. What if it was something sensitive? No, they don't care. So after 5 days of not being able to find the huge box they told me that they failed to "locate it". Meaning, they lost it in the depot. I have no idea how mentally challenged you should be to lose the box with a size of a range rover. Never ever ever use this pathetic company, they will lose you package, never make up for it and will irritate you with lowest level support. Yodel deserves minus 5 rate, not one star.

I think most of the delivery drivers are self employed and get a small amount per parcel that they deliver.They will leave the parcel anywhere they just do not care.The only way to be sure of getting your parcel is track the van or car and wait outside in the road for it.Best avoid this company if you can.

Do not use this company. I have waited in for 3 days and the parcel finally arrived at 7.00pm. Each of the last 3 days it stated that it was out for delivery. First day was noted as driver delayed.

Possibly the worst experience with any courier every time any parcel "attempts" to be delivered. Parcels left out in the rain without making me aware they are there. Over 2 weeks for something to arrive and told each day that I have a slot to find out every day it doesn't arrive. Will deliver to neighbours without even trying to attempt my address, even when I am in! I honestly don't know how a business can operate like this.

Extremely disappointed with Yodel. Was promised delivery between 10 AM and 2 PM but waited until 8 PM with no parcel. Contacted Yodel, only to be told the driver couldn't find my address, which I highly doubt. It felt like the driver never intended to deliver. Their service cost me a day's work and was a complete waste of my time. I'll never use Yodel again due to their poor service and lack of reliability.

Redirected my parcel to another collection point without even informing me. Really inconvenient. New collection point is really far away from my place. Absolutely ridiculous service. 0 star ..!!

The idiot woman that delivers in my area, supposedly delivered a parcel to me on 18/12/23, I still have not got it. The proof of delivery photo shows some random bags which are not outside of my flat. Yodel keep insisting that it has been delivered, I still don't know who they delivered it to.

Delivery driver never even knocked just chucked the parcel over 6ft fence which is shared passageway !!!! Then said he’d left it in a safe location but didn’t say where and didn’t leave photo or card to say where he’d thrown it. Luckily it was nothing fragile .

Parcels late and damaged. Upon speaking to yodels customer service (very poorly communicated, agent) agent is probably an optimistic way of saying snot nosed teenager who gave up being a chai whala in Mumbai

Told me it was delivered to my house then sent me a picture of some random persons front door. I was told to go hunt for my package or get intouch with the seller to deal with it. Not once did they say they would actually do something to retrieve my package. absolutely useless company

My parcel has been waiting at my local collection point for three days and after three days of trying every avenue to get a collection code from them which they haven't sent me, I can't get my parcel with my name on it which i have paid for. This is the third time with this company this has happened. You can't communicate with them. When you email your email address to them to get your tracking number, it says...."Sorry, this is not available right now. Try later". I have.....15 times since yesterday (29th Feb), still getting same answer! Called a number and got an automated service as follows...."Do you have a card with a long number at the top?, answer "No". "Do you have a tracking number which normaly starts with J ......"No". The answer i got...."Sorry we can't help you right now. Thank you for calling Yodel".!!! This service is SHOCKING!!!!!

Ordered xbox through vinted, went into warehouse then lost. Have to wait 2 weeks for refund, ordered another and now lost with courier, have to wait 2 weeks for refund as they can't find it. Thieves!

I cringe now when I purchase online and ebay I now ask who the courier will be .if its Yodel I don't bother .they don't deliver for ages ,then it is to somewhere else not your address.their sat nav is rubbish .their drivers don't give a hoot and well customer service is so bad it might as well shut down .

Just upset been waiting in for four days past the delivery deadline and apparently delivery attempt today.My intercom never rang.i would have heard it . So redelivery next week now.Not holding my breath. Refund to be considered I've had enough
