0 stars would of been more appropriate but unfortunately 1 is the lowest available. Richard who told me he could sell my flat without any problems and that Yopa were better than any high street branch. Richard sold me the speal and I went with yopa expecting a quick sale. 8 months later and only 4 viewings after 4 complaints of lack of service. Richard stated he had given me free viewings worth 299 but asks when I am available to do viewings. Richard stated he had put my property on social media, no link provide nor anything to prove so. Richard updated the photos to a more professional look then tried to tell me those pictures had been on since it when live, basicly calling me a lier. Richard is absolutely full of BS and I cannot emphasise just how much I would not recommend him and Yopa. Neither have done their upmost to sell my property, instead just add me to their collection of unhappy clients.

I would not recommend using YOPA after my terrible experience with them. The day of viewing I felt pressured into having YOPA sell my home and I was completely misled by the agent who promised a stress free service. He advised I go with the buy now pay later option as in his words “I will definitely sell your house within 10 months”. But that was all false advertising - a con to get me to sign my money away for nothing. Ever since that day I have not heard from nor have had any contact with the agent who reassured me I was dealing with a company I could trust - how wrong was he. I have tried to contact the agent on multiple occasions, requesting the for sale sign be put up - which still hasn’t been done months later. I have asked for new photos of the house to be taken since the agent insisted on doing them that day, even though I had expressed multiple times the house was not ready so wouldn’t be capturing it’s full potential. I have asked if the agent still has my house key as it was given on the day of sign up but again no response. I now have a new agent but only aware of this due to the online account. I’ve not had any contact from him to update or introduce himself. I have messaged on the online account and via his mobile number (which states he has read my messages) with no response. It’s been almost seven months of no contact from TWO agents at YOPA and my house has still not sold or had one viewing but I am expected to pay £1,399 to a company who has done absolutely nothing for my property or me other than add more stress and financial worry. My experience with YOPA has been very poor and I would not advise anyone to go with them. I wish I knew what I know now so I could have avoided YOPA completely.

Please beware of the opt out not to share your contact details with the seller via the yopa platform. It's not that obvious and we ended up pestered constantly by the vendors once we put an offer in and this ended up quite advisarial even after we asked the lawyers to stop them contacting us. It really should be an opt in rather than opt out thing. Best left to the lawyers.

Too many problems. No vetting of viewings or help from agent. Rudeness and sarcasm from Sales. Agent suggested Core. Not aware of Collections Dept. Like it is planned that everyone who leaves pays £999 regardless.

I have had my property up for sale with Yopa since August, holly regen from chester as been Dealing with this from the start and all I have been told is lies after lies, I’m a complete fortune out of pocket after instructing my solicitors and doing surveys on a property, holly has been dishonest from the start and as told compulsive lies, after I confronted her as I have spoken to the ( potential buyer ) of my property she was in denial, I would not use this company and not recommend it to any of my friends or family and my advice is to stay well clear, all they want is to sign you up and they are not interested if they sell your property or not, I feel that I have need taken advantage off to a different level and wonder how many more people she as mislead this is clearly not acceptable ( DO NOT USE THEM ) it’s your own fault if you do

Do NOT engage Yopa to sell your house! My house went on the market on 11th August, less than a week earlier 3 other properties on the street were listed. I had plenty of viewings but absolutely no feedback whatsoever. The other houses sold in 4-6 weeks and a further listing sold in 2 weeks. I decided to cancel my contract with Yopa and am disgusted at having to pay £999 as all they did was advertise (complete with misleading photos which l was assured are standard) and book viewings. Having not got another agent, they said the house was overvalued and basically Yopa staff don't need to put the effort in because they already have your money

Do not ever use Yopa to sell your home if you want to remain sane and have a stress free move ! I appointed Jennifer Garrett the Liverpool agent she is the most unprofessional agent I’ve ever come across . Her untimely manner lost us the sale as she did not liaise correctly with our buyers . Her attitude was appalling and the people in the head office are also the same . You also have to pay even though they did not sell it . I took it to the ombudsman which is another waste of time and effort . So please avoid ..

Sadly YOPA misled us to believe commission would be on completion of successful sale thus offering incentive to actually market the property, we had one initial viewer in first couple of weeks then just prior to 10month cut off miraculously another viewer then we were told full commission was to be paid immediately (non negotiable) when queried turns out we had inadvertently signed a delayed credit agreement be careful who you instruct to market your property.

Absolutely terrible service. I have had two agents now, the first promised the world and delivered nothing and the second still promising the world and delivering nothing. I selected the package where they sell and do the viewings as I work a lot of hours. The folk I have shown have said how bad the service and communications have been. It’s just so bad. Every time you challenge the service they come back with more rubbish. The only time they reply (the agent) is when you complain. Just steer clear folk and ignore the reviews on their site. These are only the invited ones that are shown on here.

If I could give a zero for this company I would! Mis sold package, promises everything delivered nothing. Mis advertising and misleading. On the online hub there was only 2 options available pay now pay later when asking the agent he told me to select pay later . Now I have not sold my house , but owe £1,333. Stay clear away , I have complained to trading standards and ombudsman. I wish I had read the reviews! I'm hoping this company is held accountable as most of these reviews say the same .

Not a good service and let me explain why, firstly when putting my house on the market and the yopa agent Colin came he overpriced my home, offered such a good service that we chose to go with them and to go with the option to pay when sold because we were sure we would sell and Colin definitely said we would sell (sales jargon) or if we decided to take it off the market then we would still have to pay, so when you go with that option you are passed on to a credit agency (this was not explained on the visit) so they have their money so it doesn't matter if they sell our property or not so the latter happened, terrible sales team! we had 3 viewers and our property was on the market for 8 months and just offered a market break which I agreed and not heard anything since only from the credit company to pay their money of £1399.00, so all we done really was to just throw our hard earned cash in the bin! They just don't care! My property by the way is a lovely 4 bedroom house around Dartford and is in good order so if they had done what was promised we would of sold it, just steer clear for your own sanity and go with a reputable estate agent, you might have to pay a little more but it is worth it, we will definitely be doing this next time we put our property on the market, we have definitely learnt by our mistakes

Asked for someone to come to give valuation. Date arranged, but I had to change it. Rearranged. Then received an email a day before valuation saying it was changed without any consultation with me. Contacted William Tilsley by email. He replied that he tried to telephone me. ( no missed calls) no message left. That set alarm bells ringing with me. Then came across this review site, and I am so glad I have decided not to do business with this company. If they can lie about telephoning me then I can not trust them.

Asked for on line “valuation “. Ridiculous estimate of value but thought get them out to house. They called up to arrange visit put them off for a few days as away but they still rang and left message, rang again on return, date and time agreed but then another agent rang. She was quite aggressive that I had to basically fit in with her time not the time agreed. Told her to either turn up as agreed or don’t bother. She didn’t. Terribly unprofessional.

Con men, I thought I was selling my house as you would with other estate agents, no sale no fee. Not the case with these robbers. They now want £1249 for doing absolutely nothing. Two Viewings which I did myself. No reply to my emails, I have resorted to writing a letter(recorded delivery). How are they still operating. I will contact Trading standards. How can they be allowed to gain money under false pretences . I wish I had read these reviews first.

Avoid at all cost dealing with Nicola from Leyland! We had a good start and experience with previous agent Amanda, but all changed when Nicola took over. The worest estate agent I have come across. Lied and documented on their system advising she had called and spoken to us prior to removing our property which was a complete false statement and in fact she removed our property without explanation - how one can complete fabricate this is beyond me,she knows exactly what she has done. I won't go to details as complaint raised was also bias despite providing overwhelming evidence of call logs etc... Be aware, it's franchise so the agent calls on mobile number and you as customer have no means of evidencing any issues as calls are not recorded. This leaves customer very vulnerable and gateway for bad practice within the agent themselves. Pay more and use the all fashion estate agent. Your money, your right are then fully protected! You can't even make subject request as i said due to agent using their own mobile phone. The outcome of complaint : We got offered £25 for inconvenience!!

Massive rant coming. DO NOT EVER use Yopa for selling your property. we have had our property on the market with them for 17 months now as we live in a lodge rather than bricks and morta, and they knew about this when they took it on. We were told we would have to pay the said selling fees after 10 months or once its sold, whichever was fastest. We agreed. We never saw our first agent with them, then another agent took over. She contacted us to say that the property was being withdrawn off of the market because its been on too long. We argued this and said we had never heard anything so disgraceful. They apologised and said it would stay on the market until it was sold. We were offered a revamp of pictures come January, which came and went. Never any contact from our agent at all. The next thing we hear from yopa is that they were taking it off the market as my husband was verbally abusive to our agent in April of this year. Absolute bunk, we haven't spoken to her since November of last year. We are now having to go to the ombudsman about their behaviour. We have paId £1000. For nothing. We are pensioners and i am disabled and losing £1000 is something we could do without. BEWARE, THEY ARE ABSOLUTE CON MEN.

Sold my house 4 years ago. Used yopa first but had very few viewings not good. Changed to high street agent great service and house was sold. Recently had a debt collectors emailing me they I owed yopa a fee which is £1995 apparently for the introduction of the eventual buyer. So it took 4 years for to process this. Now being threatened with court if I don't pay. I had no clue about this. Is this legal? Does anyone know? It's a dastardly deceiving way of doing business. Sharks.
