I also bought the 5 hosta collection and received all 5 of the same variety. When complained they said that as they were not hardy they are not covered under the guarantee!!

There has been absolutely no customer support until being chased several times. I would urge any customer to approach this company with extreme caution.”
“Odered a number of plants, including (from the brochure page itself), 12 Busy Lizzies which should have been Buy 12 get12 free. However on arrival there was only 1 pack of 12 Busy Lizzies. I have a copy of the order placed, but they refuse to send the other pack of 12 unless I send them £6.99 postage, yet that was a definite brouchure price, buy one get one free. There appeared to be no special code to put in. Customer service very poor, arguing and arguing over 1 pack of plants, pathetic!. Incidentally 2 of the Buzzy Lizzies in the pack received were not viable. I would urge anyone considering using You Garden to think again. Cannot recommend them at all.”
“Awful company don't want to know once they have your money !!
My mother spent online over £160 on plants. She ordered 60 trailing begonias as corms. Once they started to grow she put them in her hanging baskets. When they grew some more she realised that 10 were not trailing and 8 didn't grow. She tried phoning and was on hold for 1 hr and 20 minutes so she gave up. She has sent numerous emails and someone finally phoned her up and said as it was past 30 days they couldn't do anything. She was so rude on the phone and obviously doesn't know anything about plants as these take 12 to 14weeks to grow. I phoned them on the number you pay for which was answered straight away!! I explained what had happened and we had contacted Citizens advice and knew our rights and I was told a manager would call me back ,but a week later I'm still waiting.
I intend phoning them tomorrow again and saying we are taking advice from Trading Standards now and we will take action to claim for the plants plus compensation. This is a company who has NO after care and some very rude customer services”

The worst company I have ever ordered plants online from. They charged for Jumbo plug lavender and sent me tiny smallest version of plugs. All raspberry canes are super dry and dead. Blueberry rootball is having some kind of disease and all browned and probably water clogged. I have contacted them more than 10 times and never bothered to reply me yet. Also the delivery was delayed 2 weeks and it took nearly a month for me to receive my plants. So I am behind my gardening project for this summer + now I have to buy bigger plants grom elsewhere spending more money! As no time left for plug plants.
I definitely do not recommend this company. I absolutely wasted my money and time for nothing. Since they had advertised in Gardeners World magazine every week I thought it’s a genuine company but unfortunately I was very wrong! Really wish I read online reviews before order from them.

They held back a delivery charge of £6.99 despite the fact I had not received a single item and now do not reply to email. Use your local garden centre at least you can see what you are buying and take it away with you. NO STARS is still too good a rating.”

I bought two fuchsia trees on the deal. For a neighbour who is a 80-year-old woman who. She was isolating through Covid and needed her garden done. Unfortunately the trees hasn’t shown any green or any blooming. I’ve contacted you garden customer service. And refused to help in anyway no goodwill Help. The customer service is point-blank blunt and rude. I have never experienced service like this there is other companies like Thompson and Morgan and gardening express that will go out the way and help. I am really really disappointed of this company and I will never recommend it to anyone. It also just rings alarm bells on why did they change the name. They’re just going to damage this one as the services twice as bad and it just keeps you thinking of (Did they change their name because of the bad customer service and reputation they have).”
“Absolutely shocking service. Emailed them having not received my after 2 weeks and was told item was out of stock and no idea when I would receive it. They really don’t care about their customers. Quite frankly, there are much better professional vendors out there so don’t waste your time with these bunch of idiots”
“Have twice ordered a potting table. Got a refund for the first one that didn’t arrive. When I ordered it a second time at the beginning of March with some plants, neither plants or potting table have arrived. Telephoned 5 times with no resolution and written one letter yet have had no reply back to my letter. Pensioner 87 years old can not afford this amount of money which is over £70 that is owed to me! Do not trade with these people!”

Customer 'service' is useless, despite contacting several times plants I ordered 20 March advertised as immediate delivery won't be delivered until May. Do not waste your money. “I ordered 4 Magnolia Trees via IDEAL WORLD worth £74 they were dead twigs sent from Holland.
The box wasn't long for the tree so they bent the branches to fit the box.
I am so bloody annoyed never order again could have got same from a nursery for £40.
I also ordered Surfina all very poor quality.
Ideal World are replacing them we will see what arrives.
NEVER EVER BUY FROM GARDEN BARGAINS again.
Company should be shut down just con merchants to the public.”
“Plants were of a poor condition and half were not worth planting. I phoned to find out when delivery was expected as we were away. Email said would be in the next 3-4 days only to find they had been delivered two days earlier. My phone call asking about delivery has cost me £27 as it is a premium line number

“Placed and paid for order in March ,read address over phone ,plants delivered to wrong address sat brought to me mon ,half dead ,when I phoned to complain was told it was correct address for post code ,obviously iv lived here 7 years and don’t know my post code when I checked on post code they had put H instead of J but hey hoe pensioners can afford to give wrong address and spend £40 on half dead plants won’t use again😡😡😡😡😡😡”
