“Terrible service
I have placed an order for the items which are in “stock, ready to be shipped”, a month ago and still haven’t received anything. As it’s stated that delivery time is 7-10 days, Called them after 14 days, and was told that everything is in stock and ready to be shipped and they will push it out. No apologies, they told me that with live plants delays are normal. I called a week later because nothing was shipped and no information supplied. Customer service told me again that everything is in stock, but there are other people ahead of me. When I requested to speak with a supervisor/manager, I was told that there’s no one else I could talk to…
I called again 4 weeks after I have placed my order, just to hear the same excuses.
No apology no remorse.
It is not mentioned anywhere on the website that any delays are expected.
I have emailed and called to cancel the order and got no response at all.
Do not use this company.”
“Don't buy off this so called Garden centre. Bought 20 shallots, only 6 were any good, the rest were soggy or totally dried up inside. The waiting time for delivery, well don't get me started. one day they are up for dispatch, the next day were waiting to be picked, and so it went on for a month. Have just received my last order of nemesias, already in bloom, with some of the blooms finished. Would be better going to B@Q's. Wasn't any good complaining, I would have to go through all the dispatch problems all over again. NO THANKS!!

“Well i ordered colossal strawberry's that haven't grown any bigger than a 50p, emailed twice with no replies at all, do yourself a favor and go to marshals instead they have been great.

“Ordered petunia seeds in bucket. Mar? Called about 3eks ago after following the instructions as nothing showing adv outside daily for about 3wks or so to start germination sill nothing should flower from tel them yesterday and adv. can send a replacement but have to pay £6.99 postage I adv against the law when challenged the lady advised it is not. Surely don’t have to pay about £14. When not my flt!!!!
I have contacted Consumer Advice and they have confirmed that in tract You Garden are completely wrong and should in fact be adhering to Consumer Rights doc? 2015 which confirms that I Amon fact entitled to a replacement or full refund including postage. I am not responsible for postal charges for sending any replacement out!
Avoid I will be taking this further when I have the time”
“Placed an order of mini orchards and blueberry plant on 27th April. Delivery stated 7-10 days. Have attempted to contact You Garden since 14th May, no response to emails. It’s now 24th May. No delivery and still no response. Terrible!!”
“Dreadful service. Ordered on 7 May with website saying allow 7-10 days for delivery. On 23rd still hadn’t received delivery and it hadn’t even been packed! I asked for a refund.
I can’t recommend this company and I’d spend your hard earned money somewhere else instead if giving yourself stress chasing them.”

“ordered a rose and a clematis, when they arrived the clematis was obviously dying but we thought we'd give it a chance and plant it, the rose looked poorly too. Within a couple of days the clematis was totally dead. When I contacted customer services by email sending a photo I was given instructions on how to plant and grow it which is difficult with a dead plant. After some emailing backwards and forwards I was promised a refund which I am still waiting for 17 days later. Having rung today I am told I have to wait another 10 days for the refund with no real reason given other than it has been requested but not actioned. She then hung up on me. In the meantime the rose has also died. I would never order from this company again. Beware the quality of plants is appalling and the customer service matches this.”
“Stressful, disappointing, money wasting experience - never again!
Upon placing my order my items were listed on the website as being in stock and to expect 7-10 days for delivery.
After waiting almost 3 weeks I phoned for an update - and was told that all items were in stock and should be dispatched shortly - nope, that didn't happen.
I waited another week and phoned again, this time I was politely told to "be more patient" ( or option to cancel for refund )
Another two weeks went by and my third phone call confirmed plants were now dispached.
Ultimately took - 39 days to deliver! It seems to me there is a major flaw in this companies communications system - customer service / website operators / nursery packers all seem oblivious to what each other is doing - resulting in a very poor service to the customer.
The plants themselves were disappointing, the tiny £14 eucalyptus was very shrivelled on one side and the lavender plugs smaller than expected, poor value for money.
Update - eucalyptus only took a week to totally die. A passive aggressive staff member reluctantly agreed to replace this plant, fingers crossed for better quality with the replacement.
I did email yougarden prior to writing this review, they took a week to reply with a generic platitude.
I will never order from this unprofessional supplier again.”
