If I could give no stars I would! I bought a "Grow Your Own Magazine" which offered readers free seed potatoes and a reduced cost for 3 large patio pots to grow them in. All you had to do was pay the poatage. You had to go to the You Garden website and choose the patio potatoes and the 3 large pots. At the check out you entered the code detail in the magazine. Once you had done this you could see the free poatoes and the reduced cost pots. As a new customer you were then prompted to put a welcome code in which gave you a further 10% discount. I received my pots a couple of days ago. No potatoes ! and I was charged the full amount for the pots ! I contacted You Garden customer service by email and the reply was "sorry but this was your fault". You Garden are conning genuine customers of "Grow Your Own" magazine out of money. Money is tight when you are an old aged pensioner like me

I ordered a black adder phormium . What I received was not the same plant as I had previously owned. It was a much smaller purple phormium. Not worth the money. Very disappointing.

D & D Tried to order a pair of Cypress trees from You Garden by phone today. Problem arose when it came to the delivery cost. On the advertising pamphlet the price was given as £6.99 but I was quoted £16.99 for the service although our post code, AB15 7LG is a normal delivery and not in Highland as stated by the sales person. No problems with other delivery companies when ordering online or by phone. Disappointed and cancelled the order. Very poor service.

Ordered over 2 weeks ago and Still waiting for order , keep sending emails offering money off more orders but fail to bother about existing order. Luckily I paid by credit card and am making a section 75/78 claim on that meaning I will get my money back don't use this company for anything total waste of time

Appalling customer service. I ordered some pansies and a perennial. After a couple of weeks where I didn’t receive any updates on dispatch I contacted the company for an update and was given a dispatch date of the end of September, some weeks after I made my order. At the beginning of October I had to contact them again to ask where my order was and was given another date of 13 October. I was informed that they would not send the order until all plants were ready. I then received the perennial on its own, and an email saying the dispatch date would be the middle of October. It’s now 18th and the information hadd so not been updated. It has felt like pulling teeth to get any information from them and I have just cancelled that part of my order. Seriously disappointed - surely keeping customers up to date shouldn’t be that hard?

Wished I’d read the reviews before purchasing.. ordered a toffee tree and a Jasmin plant, both came in extremely poor condition , paid over £60 for both (above garden Center prices)!, sent photos, return accepted, returned at post office, said they never received them (even though I have Amazon tracking number ), refuse to refund. Disgusting. I’ll keep fighting for my money but shabby behaviour to say the least .NEVER AGAIN! Local garden Center for me in future

AVOID. Unreliable, not honest and completely hideous customer service. Plants on order for months, told the whole preferable be delivered today, 26th june. Called to find out time of delivery to be told by the most belligerent and obnoxious customer service person I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with, that they hadn't been dispatched and half of the order wasnt even available. We've planned the whole landscaping of our new garden around this order and spent £1600.00. We've now cancelled the order which will take 14 days ton process!!!! Funny how it doesn't take that long to take your money when placing an order

I ORDERED SOME PLUG PLANTS AND WHEN THEY ARRIVE THEY WERE ALL VERY WET AND ONLY 3 SURVIVED SO I COMPLAINED AND WAS TOLD A REPLACEMENT WOULD BE SENT OUT THIS NEVER ARRIVED AND WHEN I COMPLAINED I WAS VERY RUDLY TOLD THE ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED AND YOU NEED TO WAIT 7 DAYS FOR IT TO ARRIVE, THIS IS NO GOOD IF IT IS PLUG PLANTS AS THEY NEED TO ARRIVE QUICKLY FOR THEM TO SURVIVE. I FEEL THIS COMPANT ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THERE PLANTS . THE POSTAGE IS VERY DEAR AND NOT WORTH THE PRICE WE PAY I SHALL NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, THEY ARE A RIP OFF. I SHALL BUY ON EBAY AS POSTAGE IS FREE IF I CANNOT FIND WHAT I WANT IN THE GARDEN CENTRE.

Plants (garden ready pansies)'in transit' for five days..arrived dried out roots . (AND they do not always do well even after a good soak)Box upside down. (Sort your courier out You Garden!..they are affecting your business and its not fair on customers). Really disappointed as I had just joined their garden club and this puts me off ordering again. On a . previous occasion they sent me wrong plants but I let it go.Despite previously leaving a good review they seem very hit and miss. but I will just cut my losses and like many others go elsewhere unless they improve delivery 'in transit' times and use better packaging and pack with more care.

This is the worst Garden centre that I have ever had the misfortune to do business with only had 2 different orders from this company the first order was faulty it was a double standard magnolia that failed to grow and I phoned to complain and I was refused a refund told customer service person that I would put a claim through the Small claims court which I did and got my money and the fee for the claim back This time orders a Queen Elizabeth 2 Rose I was sent a Rambling rose complained about it and the company refund my money the person in pick and pack does not know one plant from another I have now been banned from this company they will not accept any more orders from me which I would not order from them ever again As this company is a conn company Send out any plant that they want and in my case I had to fight for my refund I would not recommend this company you are better of going to your local Garden Centre at least you can see what you are getting Beware of this company Mr Nicholson

One box of Plants arrived. Dead. Disgraceful state. Delivery driver wouldn’t give me the second box because he said it was so bad he’d return it.

Late delivery, poor plants, under size, some damaged, wrong plants delivered, one order was costly rooted rose bushes they sent bare rooted roses in a plot with compost around as when lifted out of pot all the compost fell off! Service dept next to useless.

Buyer beware! I placed an order, it went through, had confirmation and order number. They took payment but no email confirm. Phoned them, they said order number didn’t exist, not got an order for me even though they’d taken payment and supplied a false order number which I have a screenshot of. Had to get refund from paypal(who were brilliant). I would definitely not buy from this company and in my opinion I would recommend people l buy from a different, reputable, honest company. YouGarden take your money then deny all knowledge of your order - and give false order number.

Packed 2 shrubs in one box one on top of the other. Quality was appalling dead leaves, snapped and bent branches. Sent pictures to Customer services who said they looked exactly as they expected. Not cheap and not worth spending a penny with them.
