My old Leupold one-piece base for my sporterized M98 big ring Mauser had to be replaced because the rear scope ring screw stripped out and destroyed the threads. Unfortunately, the new Leupold base I ordered DID NOT fit; Leupold has changed the design shape from the old one, which would have required me to do some grinding to make it work. Thank goodness for EGW!!! Your scope base fit my sporterized M98 big ring Mauser exactly!!! No grinding required!!!
