What a wonderful site! Captain Max is without a doubt one of the nicest hosts you could imagine. My wife, two dogs, and I just spent 5 days up on the hill at his Occanum Creek property and simply had the best time. 60+ acres to explore and hike, a creek on the backside of the hill, and a lake on the front side. What more could you ask for? The tent was in great condition, the mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen & fire pit were put to good use. I recommend this site and trip to anyone who is interested in waking up to nature, stargazing at night, fishing & hiking throughout the day, and getting away from the rest of the world for a few days. Needless to say, we'll be back again in the very near future. Thank you, Captain Max!
