This machine is solid, very heavy. I like it for that. It's also pretty smooth in operation. Shipped promptly and in good condition, no damage. The holes of one of the back pads doesn't line up correctly with the frame but customer is trying to resolve that for me. A few gripes are not being able to hit full depth with both the hack squat and leg press. Modification is needed with myself at 5' 7". Adding yoga blocks on my shoulders for the hack squat and a foam pad for my back during the leg press allows me to achieve that depth for the most part. Id say it would be ideal for people between 5'10" and 6'2". Also, it is near impossible to perform calf raises while in leg press mode. It is possible to perform calf raises in hack squat mode but a calf raise block of some sort is required added to the foot plate to achieve this movement. Reverse hack squats ( fwd facing the machine) are also difficult and awkward to perform. Just my honest 2 cents here.
