I've had the Athlete model for a few weeks now and have done quite a few kms running and walking. I'm 5'9" 85kgs and was genuinely surprised at how sturdy this treadmill was running at 14km/h. I run on a few different commercial treadmills at the gym and this thing stacks up very well next to them as a smaller foldable home alternative. Be aware its quite heavy to lift and my much smaller partner had trouble lifting the treadmill up to store away; but that's the price you pay for stability.
This is a unique treadmill in that when folded takes up very little floorspace, but when setup is a very capable and sturdy unit for running on. Only takes a minute to store away or setup.
I was on the fence for awhile with this purchase but am very happy I went ahead with it.
Pros:
- Very stable for a folding treadmill.
- Takes up very little floor space once stored upright.
- Screw pins fast and easy to remove/insert for folding.
- Very quiet at walking pace.
- Very wide belt (as wide as a commercial belt at my gym).
- Belt is long enough for full stride running.
- Touchscreen is easy to use and looks quite modern.
Cons:
- IPad holder is more like an iPhone holder. But works well for large phones in landscape mode (I have a Galaxy Note 8).
- Bluetooth speaker is relatively poor quality and is difficult to hear when running.
