What an incredible journey all the phases of the program have been. As I come to the end of Phase 4, I’ve learnt so much. Having never dieted before, other than Fodmap; the hardest part was putting myself first, deciding to do this, and starting! I feel strongly that I should love my body in all its form, but the peri-menopausal figure in my early 50’s and 3 years of health issues left me feeling incredibly drab and exhausted. Fat Loss Protocol suited my personality, I’m not patient and I wanted and needed results fast. And wowsers, the weight loss and good feels was rapid. Sleep improved, so much inflammation was sent packing. I feel more confident and connected to my body than I have been for years. My learning continues, but this diet has given me the most clarity I’ve ever had. 30 years with IBS, lactose and fructose issues, I thought my triggers were the usual culprits and limited certain foods. I’ve lived daily with low level gut discomfort for decades, I was happy with this because I’m a diehard foodie. I’ve always eaten well, fresh organic produce and nothing processed. But Phase 2 on this diett showed me what it is like to experience zero gut discomfort for the first time since my 20’s. Phase 4 has revealed a lot. I don’t tolerate fats, even good fats. All things point to bile duct malabsorption (far too much info), but my point being, it’s taken me two decades to learn this, and Changing Habits FLP Protocol was my teacher. Thank you Cyndi for a phenomenal program.
